I was referred to Amanda's Nail Salon by a good friend whose nails always look immaculate. I have been in search of a good salon since I moved to Atlanta. Although I have found a few, I have to get my nails redone after only two weeks. I called and made an appointment with Amanda. The salon is located in a quaint little shopping strip center off Main Street. The salon has a nice atmosphere, is clean, and has soft music playing in the background. I dislike loud and busy nail salons, so this was right up my alley. I was instantly greeted by Amanda. She was extremely personable and assisted me in choosing the gel color I like. The color selection is huge!Amanda did an outstanding job!  She took her time to ensure my nails were filed evenly and were all the same length. Often times I find that nail technicians ignore this detail so I was extremely appreciative of Amanda's attention to detail. I chose a unique gel color that pushed the envelope, so to speak!  I typically stick with pink or red, so this was new to me - I liked it!I enjoyed getting to know Amanda while she worked diligently on my nails. I was impressed that she knew a lot about my friend. She spoke very highly of her. I have been going here for over 3 years. Their nails last the longest out of every other nail salon I've tried. They're busy so you should call at least 2 hours ahead of time to make an "appointment". The first time I went there I walked in at 7:00 (they close at 7:30) and Amanda and her ladies gave me a new full set of acrylics, painted them with gel, gave me a pedi, and topped it off with a class of wine. Everyone who comes to your establishment is a customer! If you don't know that, you should not be in business. My technician literally got up from her seat while working on my nails to go and start working on two new clients who just walked in. I have been going to Amanda's for years now. I would never admit it to Amanda but I have dabbled in a few other places over the years as a result of moving or trying new places with my friends. However, the service at all of my other experiences combined does not hold a candle to Amanda's Nails. I am always greeted warmly and rarely have to wait longer than 5 minutes to be set up. The massages are long and the work is beautiful and efficient. The pricing is also consistent- they don't try to pull the wool over your eyes to added services nor do they pressure you or up-sell you. Amanda's Nails is my go-to salon for nails and brows. They have a clean, well appointed setup and offer multiple services, including massage and waxing. Amanda's Nails is the best nail salon in Alpharetta.  The staff is friendly, professional, and very experienced.  I have never had a bad experience in the salon.  Amanda has been my nail technician for almost 9 years!!!  My nails are always professionally done, look great and last a long time.  My pedicures are a treat and the ladies always work with me as I'm always indecisive when picking my colors.  If you are looking for a great nail salon...GO TO AMANDA'S!!!! Typically nail techs aren't the most friendly (they mainly talk to one another the whole time), but my Tech was very nice and she did a very good job on my nails. They place does look a little worn and could use some updating for sure but overall it was a good experience. Read Less

worst service ever. never go here, im appalled at how awful my acrylics look, and how rude they were about charging for every little thing. including random gels they put on the top of my nails without asking me if i even wanted it.i cant believe this place is still open. Read Less
