This a busy salon that has been in business for over 20 years. While they do take walk in clients most long term clients make appointments and know that there will be a wait if they just “pop” in. The staff is knowledable and professional. I will not return to this location. The customer service is terrible and my nails were subpar. When I came in I asked about the price difference between putting acrylic over my natural nail or doing a tip. I was told $20 for the natural nail and $30 for acrylic. My nails were long enough they didn’t need fake tips, obviously I went with that. The girl put the acrylic on thick and several of my nails were crooked. She seemed annoyed when I asked her to fix them. It wasn’t busy. There wasn’t anyone waiting after me. Why wouldn’t you appease the customer? If you’re not going to do a good job why are you here? Not only that, but she didn’t even do a full manicure. There’s remnants of old nail polish on several of my fingers and underneath my nails which really bothers me. Anyway, when she was done I smudged one of my nails by accident and she tried to do a really crappy patch job. I asked her to remove the nail polish and redo the finger. She slammed the drawers around and complained to her coworker in another language. Gee, thanks. My biggest discrepancy is when I went to pay somehow the amount went from $20 to $30 with no explanation, even though the sign even says $25. Fine. I have been a regular customer for about a year. I always get a spa pedicure. I always end up with the same woman, even though I never request her. First of all the staff is not very, friendly. No casual conversation, but I can live with that. What I can't live with is a technician who can't do her job right. I always have rough areas on my feet she has missed afterwards. As she always rushes through spending no time smoothing the rough areas. However, the worst part of all is, I brought in some nail designs to put on my finished toes. Nothing complicated, just a simple decoration. The technician informed me; she she didn't know how to apply it. I had to peel the designs off and apply it myself! Really, a nail technician that can't apply stick-on designs??? Then learn that part of your job! After my pedicure she sat me in a chair to dry and gave me my bill of $30.00. In addition to the bill she literally asked me for a $5.00 tip. I asked her again to be sure I understood her. She clearly stated; tip, $5.00? So let me get this strait, you can't apply a simple (stick on) nail design, that I have to do myself? But you want a $5.00 dollar tip? I don't mind tipping at all, but first perform your duties correctly. A tip shouldn't be expected, rather it should be earned. Time for a new salon! Read Less

I'm 41 weeks pregnant and was looking for a place to get my last pedicure that I'll be getting for awhile. All I can say is wow! For $25, this little hidden gem can't be beat! Relaxing heating pad for your neck, great massaging chairs, relaxing foot and calf massage, and it comes with a paraffin wax dip to make your feet extra soft! I usually have to pay an additional $5 for the wax anywhere else I go. And it was CLEAN which is super important to me. Exceptional service and exceptional quality! Had the best full set of my life! They guy who did them had been working they're for like 20 years. They were the perfect shape, they lasted so well and never lifted and I work every day with my hands in water. I was so happy. The only problem I have with the salon is that they are very difficult to find. They don't come up on Google maps. If you don't remember the name you are in trouble because you will not find them. I've been going to Gypsy Nails since at least 2002, and they are better than any salon I went to before that. The salon is clean, hygienic, and comfortable. They have new massage pedicure chairs and they provide their customers with free Wi-Fi while they have TVs always set to channels that are enjoyable. But that's not why I keep going to Gypsy Nails; I go because all of their nail techs are so good at what they do. Jay does my nails, but when he's been away I've had several other techs do my nails. I'm always pleased with how good they look when I leave. Gypsy Nails offers so many options besides pink and white. They do regular acrylic, acrylic with the color pigment already in it (impossible for the color to wear off) gel, polish that changes color when the temperature changes, and more. A couple of years ago, Jay was doing ombré color on my nails. I wore the colored acrylic and would get fills in another color. What a fun look! I can't recommend Gypsy Nails highly enough. I've been going to Gypsy Nail Salon for over 12 years and I am always getting compliments from strangers on how nice my nails look.  The same goes for the pedicures.  There is no problem with communication.  Holly, the owner, speaks perfect English.  All of the techs speak English, though some maybe better than others.  I've found when most people are unhappy with what they get it's because they either don't explain what they want or don't speak up if they see it going in the wrong direction. I have been with Gypsy Nails for 20 years (Holly Bach). They are careful in ensuring the equipment they use is sterilized. When you walk in you feel like home as they are privately owned. I have had strangers compliment my nails and asked for the address you cannot go wrong with anyone at this location.
