I normally don't leave my usual salon but I'm on the other side of town and had time to treat myself. I walked in and it was appealing and clean. I didn't have to wait, it was a Monday afternoon and they weren't busy. They did have enough staff to take care of walk-ins. They had a really small selection of SNS, so if you're not in the mood for a shade of pink/red then you have to get gel polish. I'm not a fan of acrylic and really wanted a shade of grey more than this merlot color but it is what it is. Also I didn't see anyone doing designs or offering any nail art, so be aware of that. I got a basic stiletto shape, very sharp. The shape is fine as far as how pointy they are but I had to ask the lady to fix a few of them before she started the powder. somehow I can see the side of my real nail (I'll include the picture). Also it's really thick and not buffed and smoothed our on my thumb. And another nail isn't uniform in shape/smoothness either. They have crystals for your nails but it's literally the tiniest white "diamond" so I opted for a holographic nail instead. Pedicure was really nice besides the water not being warm enough and she didn't initially take length off my toe nails. I had to ask her to do that. The best thing though is that she didn't cut my cuticles once! I have little toes and my cuticles grow out or something, I don't know. She did really well! No pain at all. Prices were good, but they nickel and dime you. I got a gel top coat instead of the regular sns top coat (I wanted my nails to stay shiny) and two fingers with holo and they charged $3 for the gel and $5 for the holographic. I think the $3 was a bit redundant but that's whatever. TLDR;I'd go here again if I had to but I wouldn't get a full set or a fill. Just a pedicure. no one seems to be as good as my regular salon :) Read Less

Very nice i was recommed to this place i rarely get pedicures but the lady that took care of me. Very very nice. Loved her. They do great nails and pedicure. Appointment on point of they take it correctly.  I've had the appointment with no nail technician and some how it was my fault.  I still come because they are pretty good. Though it's awkward Read Less

I only gave this place 1 star because I had to give it something to write a review. There was a 45 minute wait when I was told 15 mins. I specifically asked for no filing on the sides of my nails because I want them square. I've been having my nails done for over 20 years. I know how I want my nails. I repeated myself at least 10 times as she continued to file my nails to points. When I asked her to fill in acrylic where she had filed, she was angry & started to talk loudly in her language to all the other employees. Then the whole salon was cackling like hens let out of a hen house for the first time. I just gave up, told her to polish them. I had an appt to go to. I was there 1 1/2 hours for  nails that looked like someone starting school. I recommend that you should go to some other salon that at least listens & understands what you say. Will not be back. Ill admit the service isnt great. Mainly the manager is horrible but if you go there to get your nails done an avoid her your fine. Kim is the absolute best! She always listens to exactly what i want and is a perfectionist! She is also very patient with me (ima picky person) I ALWAYS get compliments on my nails. Read Less

I am very surprised that there are not many reviews for A Plus Nails. They are great!This was my second time ever getting a pedicure and the forth time ever getting a manicure. A Plus Nails is a clean salon, and did not smell bad (that chemical smell, ew!)  like the other ones that I have been to. Each time someone walked in the door, someone would greet them and say hi.The lady that did my nails was very pleasant- her name was Tracy. She did a great job and she also very thorough. Everything turned out better than I expected!Their prices are very reasonable too for what you get (check out my pic of the pricing). I will definitely go here again ! Read Less

Some pedicurists are better than others, but they are all very good. Been coming here for many years and on the few times I've "strayed" I am always disappointed and consequently come back. Nice group of people and a very clean salon. They take a lot of care to seal up the used acetone cotton, so it never stinks here like some other places.  Very pleasant atmosphere. Although I don't get manicures, the manicurists are always busy and everyone's hands and nails look great. Very reasonably priced services. Read Less
