Had one of the most horrific customer service experiences here. I walked in and was seated pretty fast. Needed a refill. Nail tech offered an $18 no-gel color refill or a $33 gel refill. I asked if there would be any extra charges. She stated that if she found one broken nail, it would be an extra $3. I had no broken nail, so I reassured her that the $18 no-gel color fill will be sufficient. As a business leader, I’m naturally inclined to verify cost before services by asking questions. But I have never experienced what came next. The tech them berated me about paying for extra charges. She “educated” me on why I should pay for any extra charges she comes across. As she won’t on, I just paused and stared at her. She finally stopped talking and told me in her words “you don’t have to pay for more. You can pay or no pay, you don’t have to pay us, there are many nail salon you can go to. You don’t have to pay us”. I looked at this young lady, told her I would just bite my tongue and politely left. I’m not sure what kind of a Day the young lady had or was having. But I can assure this business - with that kind of arrogance and entitlement, they won’t be in business long. As a business leader, I would be completely appalled if one of my team members said anything like that to a client. In my organization we strive to exceed every client’s expectation. We would never be so arrogant in our delivery and so confident that we had “it all”. I have Lived in Windermere for over 10 years and every service provider in our community have always conducted themselves in the finest manner. Our zip code has never made us act arrogant to our neighbors and visitors. It’s my hope that the new businesses opening in our community understand the bond and culture that keeps us strong. I went here because I laughed out loud when I read the hepatitis review which also stated that the place was unclean. Of course, being me, I had to see for myself. The first thing I noticed was how clean and spotless it was. I walked in without an appointment and was helped right away. Huong Vu did my nails and she was very nice and professional. One nail rippled under the dryer and she fixed it right away and seemed happy to help. My nails look great and I will be coming here regularly. To preface, I've never written a review for anything because nothing has been so amazing, or in this instance, so terrible for me to write about it. I visited this salon with my family as a time to bond and spend some quality time, but instead walked out disappointed even after two attempts of fixing my manicure. Everything was going well and the ambiance was pleasant, until it came to getting my desired nail shape and length. I had put a reference picture down for my preferred look and patiently sat while she glued my nails down. I asked for a slightly modified length of the original picture (about 2mm shorter is what I had asked) and I was told that the ombré design would not work because of how short it would be. Things just went downhill from there. I could tell that as soon as I asked for the shorter nail Judy had gotten frustrated with me. After she had trimmed and filed the nail, I wasn't even allowed a second to assess the length and shape of the base until she had started applying the acrylic coating. She even spent the time that she was doing my nails talking to her co workers instead of engaging in the pleasant small talk that my 3 other family members were receiving, even gesturing to me or my nails and pulling my hand over to show others, which was very uncomfortable. Once the acrylic was applied she had started on the filing and "shaving" part. The nails had come out lumpy and uneven. When I asked for it to be smoothed out, I was told that the ombré would not be there anymore and that I "didn't understand about acrylic" as she proceeded to show me on my nails. I said "ok then that's fine" but she had continued to do so until there was only pink on one nail, as if to show me just how wrong I was. She had finished with my nails and asked me to wash my hands and I said thank you. At this point, I was already upset and didn't want to aggravate her or myself further and rejoined the rest of my family. I was starting to accept just having bad nails until my mother pointed out how lumpy and uneven it was. One nail was missing spots of the top coat just because of her not painting all the way to the tip. I insisted it was ok but the lady that was working with my mom overheard us and said that Judy (the woman who was doing my nails) would fix it again. When she was called over again she had a very sour look and get very aggressive and even painful when buffing out my nail and blatantly used her phone in front of me. After an hour and a half appointment, I walked out with lumpy, uneven, very pointed nails (when I showed her a picture of rounded/almond shaped nails). At least my family had a very pleasant experience with their mani-pedis, walking out with perfect Frenchs and gel nails. The facility itself was wonderful and my family's experience was great, the the service that I was given from Judy was less than enjoyable. ABSOLUTELY NOT worth $60. Read Less

I went in there, and had one of the top three worst experiences I've ever had. Three times they attempted to do my nails and every time they came out awful. Right now I have a French manicure that looks like it was put on with a white out and pink highlighter. I plan on removing at the moment I arrived home, $20 wasted on the worst nails. If I could choose 0 stars I would. Thats how bad my last visit to this salon was. I took my step daughter here to get a pedicure with her for her first time. When we sat down I could tell that the lady doing her nails (her name was Kathy) was in a big hurry because she was going 100mph through the whole pedicure with my step daughter. She never said one word to my step daughter. She never asked if she wanted a drink, she never even asked what kind of pedicure she wanted!!! lol I wanted her first time to be special I wanted her to choose whichever one she wanted money was no object but instead we got rushed crappy service because Kathy was in a rush to get to her next appointment. When I spoke up and said we can wait for someone to not be in such a rush because we are not in a hurry Kathy began to argue with me that it had been 30 minutes already. I laugh at this because she told me this at 11:24 am and we had parked the car to go into the salon at 11:03 . The only reason I know the exact times is because my step daughter said something about it being 11:03 when we parked. I've been getting my nails done for about 20 years now and I've never had a worse experience than this one! Absolutely horrible!!!!! I will never be back here again! I really like this place because you can come whenever you want and get what you need done. They don't keep you waiting or force you to book appointments. I'm also always happy with their work. Their customer service isn't the best though and they're not very talkative. Some employees might even use their phones. I had the worst pedicure by Judy. She barely scrubbed my feet it was like she was just gliding the scrubber on my foot, there was no pressure at all. Usually it tickles but I felt absolutely nothing. And when I said they were rough she just looked at me. She didn't even apply any cream to the toes to do the cuticles, and she also didn't clean under my toenails. Just left here, keep in mind that I've been here before and I am a local. I have NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE THIS EVER! Customers walking in and NOBODY greeting them or asking them if they need help. The guy who did my manicure/pedicure rushed rushed rushed, pointed at things, never spoke to me direct and was annoyed when I was asking him about colors. He did not bother to grab my shoes for me- instead he POINTED! He did not bother to check to see if my toes were dry, nothing! Instead of enjoying my time, I sat there in complete disgust at the lack of customer service. While it isn't hard to find a nail salon, it is often hard finding a good one. This is my go-to salon for all things nail services. I don't often treat myself to get my nails done, so it's so nice to find a salon that I trust going to, should I ever have that need. As a bit of a germaphobe, it soothes my soul walking in and seeing that they use plastic wraps in their foot tubs as well as "freshly opened" tools from a package. I don't think this should be an "extra" perk, but part of the basic amenities of nail services. They have a large menu of services, but you don't get to look through it until you're sitting in a chair. However, they are not pushy and in fact, they're quite helpful with whatever your needs may be. Everyone is polite and wants to move along, which I enjoy because I like being in and out. The establishment is spacious, clean and bright. They have three large flat screen TV's as well as massage chairs for the pedicure area. The manicure tables are wide and can host parties of 3 a a time, or of course, serve just you. Just outside of the establishment, there are several parking spots as it belongs to a larger shopping area.  It's convenient and easy to get to if you find yourself in the area. Read Less

I will NOT be going back there again. I went in to have gel and acrylic removed from my nails and to get just a regular manicure to make them look decent. The man doing my nails was in such a hurry to get to the next person that my nails turned out awful. My cuticle was cut, my nails were barely buffed or filed, I had to ask him to actually give my nails any sort of shape besides completely square from cutting them, he didn't turn the fans on until the very end and by that point he had put on such thick coats that even after 15 minutes in front of the fan (he told me to sit for 10) my nails were bubbled and one ruined within the next hour. I have now been there twice.. once with my daughter when we first moved 6 months ago and Saturday. I felt we got a little scammed for 2 pedicures that cost the same one being for an 8 year old that just left and her nail polish was already peeling off.. on her birthday no less and cried.. mine on the other hand was fine.. I thought maybe she moved to soon.. blah blah.. I have not been back since. My Aunt comes to visit I go with her just because it's close and I'm sick and I promise her a place that can deliver hopefully biting my finger nails .. she is relentless on service.. I just didn't feel well enough to drive to the place I now go.. I get a half ass cheap Mani.. not.much effort.. ohh wait my eyebrows! I just got over cancer.. all that I cried over to grow back my eyebrows are now crooked!! .. uneven.. Crazy thin!! Half taken off!! I am going back tomorrow.. just disappointed! This used to be our go-to nail salon - however - the salon has taken a serious downturn in cleanliness, service, and quality. In addition, they mistreated and physically hurt my disabled mother. The new matching nail polishes they have - are cheap and do not last. If you have to go to this salon take your antibiotics and stay away from the new Daisy nail polish line they have. If you like fungus and hepatitis this is the salon for you. You read that correctly - hepatitis. We aren't the only ones that have been a victim of this dirty salon. I'm happy share the names and numbers of several friends and neighbors who have similar and in some instances even worse experiences than myself and my disabled mother. We are seeking legal counsel from the dept of justice as my mother is protected through the Americans with Disabilities act - the low life who runs this disease and germ ridden dump apparently thinks if you're disabled they can treat you poorly. I went to this salon yesterday to get a pedicure and manicure. A really young girl started working on my pedicure. She seemed a bit nervous and unsure of herself. I should have asked for someone different at that point. She used the foot file to remove the dry, dead skin from my feet. She was so rough with the file that she ended up butchering the side of my pinkie toe. It began to bleed quite a bit. Today I noticed my other pinkie toe is hurting. Turns out she took a few layers of skin off of it too. I should have complained to the manager. You'd think the girl would have offered me a discount for the pain she caused me. Yesterday, I went to get a mani/pedi.  Henry did both services but injured me! After telling him he was hurting me with the pumice, he continued.  Finally I had to pull my foot back and tell him to stop! Maybe if he paid attention and not gossip with 3 of the female techs in their language, laughing, carrying on and staring at them instead of my feet, maybe I wouldn't have broken skin.  Today, I went in to talk with the manager, Sebastian, to show him and ask if they sanitize their tools, I told him I wanted to go to the doctor, he said, oh no, you don't need to, we sanitize.  I told him I was going.  His response: okay, let me know, sorry, I'll talk to him.  Wow... I have been coming to this place since they opened. Great friendly staff and the best service you could ask for. All of the techs are fantastic,  but nothing beats a pedicure from Thao. They do not over charge for their services either, which is something you normally have to worry about. Very clean establishment. I suggest making an appointment because they can get very busy. Not only is this place close to my house, it's clean, it's neat and the staff is really nice. I made the mistake of getting a fill someplace else and my finger was cut so bad! I won't go anywhere else but this nail place. They have lots of staff so there is hardly ever a wait but on the weekends. They usually offer a drink, such as water or soda. I have never had a pedicure here but I would totally recommend it for your nails. The prices seem to be average for nail salons today. Parking again can be tough on the weekends because there are a lot of other stores around it. I just went on a Monday and there was no wait. They also seem to do waxing but again I haven't had that. I don't go anywhere else in the Orlando area since I found this place. It's very clean, and they are always busy. I've found that if you call ahead for an appointment you can often skip the line of people waiting. I usually have shellac nails done with a pedicure. Your basic spa pedicure is $25. It includes a soft drink or water. It may cost more, but it's worth it. My pedicures last forever, despite my running around.As far as finger nails go, I've only had one bad experience in all my times going to this salon. Waxing: They do great eyebrows. I went to another place in the area, and that place left random stray hairs that should have been removed. The room they wax in is a bit cramped, but I won't hold that against them since they do a great job.Atmosphere: It's usually pretty quiet, unless you get a big group in there. They usually have HGTV on, but there's three big screen TVs. The techs are a bit quiet, but some people prefer to relax. I've had some pretty chatty techs as well. Overall, they're very nice!
