I had the worst spa experience ever here. I requested a brow waxing as well as brow and lash tinting. I was very explicit with my instructions to just remove the "stray" brows. What did I get ?  Pencil thin Joan Crawford eyebrows. But it gets worse.  I have sandy gray brown hair and asked to match the shade. They're now black. Jet black. It looks like she took a sharpie marker and drew on my forehead. And what's even worse yet is that she spilled die on my face and had to rub and rub it with  chemicals to remove it. I now have a raw welt on my face. I've had ok service here before but clearly they are not consistent in training staff or hiring people who can understand English. I'm not sure what happened but when I first moved to Wilton Manors, I loved this place! The last 2 times I've come in, the guy that's always at the front desk has had the nastiest attitude towards me and perked up when an obvious regular came in and I was ignored. I was also charged $30 for a regular polish fill when they advertise far less. hate shady nail salons and on top of that, the quality has consistently gone downhill and they rush through everything. Just went here for the first time. The salon is beautiful and very clean. I booked a 6pm mani pedi and was taken right away.  The man that greeted me was welcoming and very friendly. First of all, not very good customer service from the guy at the front desk. I was calling to ask about the pedicure options, and I feel like he was rushing on the phone, and not helpful at all to help me with the information about different packages. Then when I was there to get the pedicure later, the girl who was doing it looked so sleepy and bored, she kept yawning many times, and seemed quite indifferent with her work, not attentive. That affected the customer and made me feel strange. Overall, the pedicure work with callus removal and stuffs was just ok, average, nothing special. But what made me not happy was their bad attitude for customer service. I just did not feel welcome there for some reason. Odd. I would not come back to this place. I usually dont want to give bad feedbacks, but I feel like I need give my opinion this time, so hopefully they can improve these things in the future, because these things can definitely be changed by these employees there. This is an upscale modern salon. Absolutely beautiful and easy on the eyes. You are greeted as soon as you walk through the door, You are even offered a beverage  and there are ample amounts of polishes to choose from. I recently visited this salon and was very impressed not only with the nail service but also with the customer service. Lavish manors is definitely organized making it a smooth transition from manicure to pedicure with an open floor plan. I will definitely be coming back again. Today was my first time coming to Lavish and I loved it! The inside is so beautiful and clean. The salon looks and feels so high class but still very affordable. They even offer drinks!  There is a ton of pedicure chairs so you don't have to worry about waiting for that. J also did an amazing job on my nails... as ALWAYS. The worst customer service EVER. My husband went to get the full mani/pedi treatment on his Birthday and I called prior to him arriving to pre pay for his total treatment and to start his special day with a nice surprise. The manager took my CC information and actually stated my husband is there already and will make sure he gets the full treatment then surprise him during check out. Well so much for that surprise. I was watching my bank account so I knew what he deducted and there was no charges. After 1 1/2 hrs. I was concerned so I called. The manager knew it was me calling due to caller I'D. I moved to Wilton Manors a few months back and started coming to lavish twice a month. I originally was very happy with their service. The last three visits i was very unhappy and will not go back. The last two times I was rushed out. The first time because the tech convinced me that I didn't need a polish change on my toes, because he just didn't want to do it. The worst pedicure I have ever gotten from this place and the owner was not sympathetic at all. The guy never even used a file. He just ruthlessly cut my nails to the end and didn't bother to file them down so they were smooth. I told the owner when a client is upset you empathize with them not say there is nothing wrong with it. I will not ever come back to this place again. The place has a high turnover in staff which tells me the owner is difficult to deal with it. After expressing my disappointment the owner couldn't care less. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. Omg!!! Yes I know I sound like a 15 year old girl this place lives up to the name lavish! It's beautiful and so clean inside! They are very attentive! I loved John he did such a great job doing my mani and pedi! I can't wait to go back to try some of the other pedicure packages! They offer wine, water or soda! Also, if you are a first time customer and check in they will give you $5 off of $50 of service or higher! Very friendly and they didn't try to upset to heavily, which I like! HORRIBLE TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!! DO NOT GO HERE !!! HIGHLY DISRESPECTFUL TO CUSTOMERS. This place does not appreciate theyre GOOD and LOYAL customers. I have been going faithfully one year. They put me with a new technician today(with the white braces that sits on the end in the middle row to the left). She cut my nails down before she asked what shape that I wanted. Nevertheless my nails ended up being WAY too short because she didn't ask before cutting them. I expressed to her my nails were too short and she started actually laughing at me ! I have never been so disrespected ever . When I asked her what was so funny she continued to laugh at me. I asked her to please stop laughing at me and she continued. FINALLY I had to get up from the chair hoping to get this resolved with the manager "TOMMY " I told him that she was extremely disrespectful which I know that he saw . The technician came running over to him speaking to him in Vietnamese . S o I did not understand anything. Before I knew it he he continued to tell me "BYE".... if you dont like it "BYE". I could not believe not only was I so badly treated by the technician but now also by the manager.!!! I've come here quite a few times and I finally found someone amazing (Katie) who does great work and I became really close to. So close, that we would text each other and became friends. I let her know in advance that I would be coming in today for a quick polish change via text (as usual) and was treated like crap by the horrible front desk manager named Danny. He turned me away as soon as I walked in because I didn't have an appointment (i did) and didn't give me any options to wait or go with someone else. To make matters worse, katie texted me as soon as I walked out that she was just finishing up and I would have happily waited a few minutes for her if Danny would have told me that I had to wait. He was extremely rude to someone who has been a loyal customer for the past 5 months and always tips and is friendly and patient when people are busy. Had one good session here and one that was the absolute worst. The front manager was careless and obviously distracted while working the dremel. In response to my protest of my nail bed being damaged, he called me scared and made it clear he thought that he knew best (15 yrs working does not mean you are immune to mistakes). Absolutely will not be back and have been trying to grow out the problems put in my nail bed months later. If you go here, you better have an appointment with someone you totally trust. Just moved to Fort Lauderdale and in need of a go-to local nail salon since I religiously get a gel manicure every 2weeks.The receptionist with purple hair seemed indifferent, preoccupied with his phone. Not very welcoming. Katie did my nails in a rush (There were 5 people in the entire salon...more staff than customers) She half fasted everything. She didn't use the cuticle removal cream, left polish on my skin, bumpy polish on my nail.....hot hot hot mess. On my middle finger, she put top coat on only half of the nail. One half is matte and the other half is shinny. Wtf. The salon is huge, updated and seemingly clean looking. Zero customer service. Receptionist didn't bother to ask me how everything went. Worst front desk service ever! I have been looking for a new place for my friends and I,I work at a night club so I am frequently needing mani/pedi services. I had such a wonderful experience until I went to check out,not only did the guy at the front desk lie to me when I had asked for a quote on price after calling and coming in. Some time ago, while at a Yelp Event, I got chatting with one of my favorite Yelpers, Marc Aka Max H. The subject of manicures and pedicures cures came up and I had to admit that I had never had either. That is probably because of my Appalachian upbringing wherein such is not only considered decadent, but can't fathom the belief of anyone too lazy or incapable of trimming their own fingernails or toe nails. But as the discussion developed and because I always pay good attention to anything Marc has to say, I promised to get a pedicure and manicure which is what lead me to Lavish Manors Nail Spa; and I'm glad I did. So thank you Marc, you were spot on correct, I have been missing out on a good thing. From the outside you'd think Lavish Manors Nail Spa is a small hole in the wall operation, but it's not. Once you get inside, you can't help but be impressed with its simplistically pleasant décor, its attention to cleanliness, its equipment and the overall size of the space. It's really huge. I was assigned a manicurist by the name of Phong, originally from Vietnam, who had been doing manicures and pedicures over the last four years. And though my first ever manicure and pedicure, I could immediately tell I was in the hands of an accomplished professional. Not only that, but with a person of charm and pleasing personality.  The first thing that happened, besides being given a complimentary glass of wine, was that I was put into a chair with a whirlpool in which to soak my feet, but not just a water soak. Varying scents like that of green tea and solutions were added during the process, even a mask on my calves of my legs. Overall it was delightful, something I've never experienced before. Then for the fingernails, pretty much the same procedure except with my fingers dipped into a heart shaped bowl. As for the final outcome, I ended up with perfect Hollywood looking toe and fingernails; awesome in appearance and with my body overall having a lingering feeling of ease and comfort. The only problem I had was that while have my pedicure I was sitting in one of those so called smart chairs that rubs, messages and vibrates. Everything about it really felt great but with me not be much of a techy, figuring out the control panel with all of its buttons and varying massage modes sort of hit beyond my immediate understand. The same girl gave me a Pedi then Mani. She also greeted me with a smile, she took her time and did a great detailed job. Other employees where also friendly. The salon was clean, comfortable and a pleasant environment. The price was reasonable and I was thanked for coming in. Hm, not such a great experience. Two of my nails broke within the same day only 3 days after getting them done here. Just cracked horizontally, half the nail fell off. I went back to get them redone and the staff really had the attitude as though they were doing me a big favor by fixing them when in fact the fact that they broke was certainly due to them doing a poor job letting the gel powder extensions dry thoroughly when they first put them on. The nail tech kept saying he was doing me a favor by fixing them as though I should act grateful when what I would be grateful for was if they had done the job right in the first place.He then repeatedly hit a spot on my nail that hurt with the drimmel and when I pulled my hand back a bit he pulled it back to him and kept grinding the nail. When I told him a third time "Stop" and that it hurt, he blamed it on me twitching my nail. Additionally, they seem a bit biased in the way they treat people, seemed like they put me in a box the second they saw me instead of being open to conversing just treated me as a stereotype. Great service, decent price for the mani/pedi combo.  Clean, friendly and quiet.  Great décor to make you feel that you are actually in a day spa, and not a nail factory. They have no problem giving a French pedicure to a guy, and even suggested I go silver.  I've had other places giggle when a dude wants some color on his feet.  This place is all about business and making their guests comfortable...a glass of wine helps too!
