The old lady (i think her name is Wanda) gave me a horrible pedicure, she did nothing to my toes, and she also did not know how to do my nails, she destroyed my nails, I’m sorry for leaving this bad review n your page but she has done my nails twice and she just doesn’t know how to do them. this is my 3 visit for nexgen. The lady that did my first was not bad but I wasnt very happy with her work then I met Fuji and my experience changed completly. He is fast and detailed. I dont have a lot of time in hand since i go in my lunch hr. My nexgen so far has lasted anywhere from 3-4 weeks it all depends if i pick on them =) Read Less

You have to give a star to write a review. This place is HORRIBLE. Salon and SPA is total BS. It's very hard to RELAX when you have a 5:30p APPOINTMENT and at 6:15p they still haven't started with you. Oh yeah, they wrapped my nails and sat me in a massage chair to wait, but SERIOUSLY??? Well, "no one skipped me," they said. Yeah, they just took 4 too many walk-ins right before my appointment time. And when I finally had enough, ripped the tinfoil off my hands and said, just drill the rest off and let me go, they acted like I was the one who was wrong. No one moved to actually help me, they just ganged up together defending themselves and blaming me. Wonderful excuses like "You were on the phone when you got here," and "now that you took the foil off..." and "she's practically ready for you now, she just has to polish." So an hour after my appointment time, I am at Sally's buying acetone and hoping that my husband will help me take the rest of my fake nails off to get thru the night. Oh, and as I stood at the front desk waiting for someone, ANYONE to show an ounce of customer care, the dude who was supposed to be doing my nails in the first place went on a smoke break. Read Less

Very unfortunate experience. The place is gorgeous and the owner was very nice. Unfortunately the woman doing my pedicure was absolutely awful. Which, when you're having a bad day and looking forward to having 30 minutes of bliss, and you get a rushed 10 from someone who seems like everything else in the room is more important is well, frustrating! She didn't even rub my feet! And rubbed both legs at the same time for about 10 seconds. And just my shins. I mean come on! The worst. I had high hopes for this place and am super bummed. Let me start off by saying that I've been getting my nails done for over 10 years at different establishments, so I know how my nails should look when finished. They only had one person on staff at the time I arrived doing nexgen so I had to wait a bit (which I didn't  mind). The gentleman at this establishment poorly executed my nails. Came in the other day with my girlfriend.  I personally didn't need anything done so I just sat in the waiting area.  The staff was friendly and the place was very nicely renovated.  I only waited around 25 maybe 30 minutes for her to get her nails done which was nice.  She seemed very happy with it and 25 minutes to get your nails done seems like a reasonable amount of time for a manicure so 5 stars in my book.  I'm sure you have no say in where your girlfriend gets her nails done but for the guys out there reading this this place makes it painless as possible when we're dragged to places like this. Today was my second visit to Koi. I've scrolled through reviews here and have to disagree with some, but everyone has their opinion. The girl who was Talking about Miami...she was loud and rude. Noone could make that petson happy on any planet.I'm happy for the salon that she won't be back.I've been to several salons in town. Everyone here absolutely speaks English.  It's super clean and all the techs are professional and friendly. My pedi was great and my nex-gen is Perfection. If you want a more upscale atmosphere without the price hike, this is the place. Spent $50 on a pedi and nexgen mani and couldn't be happier with the service. Magy did my pedi and Fuji did my manicure and both were super friendly, gentle, and quick. Y nails came out perfect! I've been shopping around for a new salon for a few months now and finally found one that hit the mark. The salon is modern, clean, and the best part is it DOESNT SMELL! I guess they have some kind of ventilation system because there is none of that harsh chemical scent you'd expect. Would recommend to anyone! Read Less

Only 2 reviews of 5 stars that are not deserved. Customer service is zero. They have two young girls that seem clueless and are not professionally dressed, I'm unsure what their job is, when I walked in asking for a regular manicure ( no gel or anything, just focus on my cuticles ) she looked at me as if I was speaking a dialect. Only one nail tech spoke English unfortunately for me cuz I told my nail tech to focus on my cuticles and she nodded, but towards the end of my manicure I told her she forgot to remove the clear protein coat I came in with from my right hand, and that she also didn't buff my nails like she had done to my left hand, she had to ask for translating. Which is fine, I just wish she would have just asked before about not understanding since I was wondering why she didn't focus on my cuticles more. The water to soften the skin was also cold. Lastly, one of the nail techs was sleeping in the pedicure massage chair... to me that's just unprofessional. Needless to say, I'm going to have to retouch my cuticles at home. I'm going two stars because is seems they updated their store recently. It looks modern. That was nice. Would recommend elsewhere, businesses should understand the importance of customer service. This spa opened next to work so me and some co-workers decided to try it during lunch break. We all got a spa pedicure, it was relaxing with a nice massage and warm towel treatment. Paul and I love visiting Julie and Helen. We are always so happy with everything they do for us. Helen and Julie are fantastic, and we look forward to having our pedicures ( I also have gel polish on my toes which lasts for ages).
