The technician was focused on her work and was pretty nice. She gave great detail and adding layers. She could be a lot more gentle when using the drill, as I had halo/skid marks from my nails being drilled down excessivly 1 month later. During my appointment I experienced burns from her pressing the bit into my nails, that caused me to pull back out of reaction of avoiding pain. My nails later started warping bumps where the grooves were 3 months after healing. Some technicians are very skilled and careful, then there are some who rush that can later result in damage. This was my first set of acrylic nails and it will be my last. I'd also like to mention something important, regarding one of the woman at the counter who knew English clearly (not an attack, but a fact) that handled my bill. When I went to pay at the counter, I asked if the tip could be charged to my debit card and the bill of work be charged on my fiance's credit card after. Instead they charged $10 on both cards, which amounted to a $20 tip. Then charged my France's credit card for the work of $45, so they were listening to an extent. I felt pretty used after finding out, when my fiance after checking his account said "no..they didn't..they charged me the $10 tip...didn't you tip her with your debit?" Yeah...I thought I tipped her $10, instead the two woman took it upon themselves to charge an extra $10 than what I wrote on the receipt handed back to them. ($10, under the tip) Read Less

My usual place was closed so I came here. Nice decor, friendly receptionist. Overall, Not impressed with the nail job! My nails were rushed..done sloppy..not neat or clean around the edges!. Was supposed to get my cuticles cleaned and the nail tech only soaked one of my hands! 😡 I let her know that the other was not soaked and she was like..yes I know I'll clean the cuticle anyway! No, no, I just wanted to leave as soon as possible. I was not pleased at all! Very nice and friendly employees and they did a nice job on my nails. However, I’m worried about cleaning the equipment and high chances of getting an infection. They use the same equipment on the next person without cleaning and the same towel where you put your hands on are just turned over after waiving the towel in the air to have the previous clients nail and skin leftovers to fall on the floor. Prices are listed as $ and “up” so you are not sure what they are going to charge. My nails look awesome and hopefully the owner will make sure hygiene will be on top of their list as right now it is clearly lacking. If I go back and the hygiene will not have changed than I have to go else where as my health is more important and nowadays there is a nail salon on every corner. Since my nails have been done very well, it will be sad to go elsewhere. A family member also went to this salon and had exactly the same experience. Great looking nails but scared about the huge lack of hygiene. Many salons clean their equipment after each client. A fresh towel or a paper throw away cover will at least make sure my hands are not laying on the previous clients skin leftovers. Extremely disappointed in the service I received. The price list did not match at all to what I was charged. I got regular square nails and was charged $7 for a special shape request which was absolutely absurd and was told that their prices on their price list are $x and UP. So I guess in theory the price could be anything, which in my case it was. I'm still giving two stars because my nails were done really well and they look nice, but I feel taken advantage of. NOT RECOMMEMDED!!! This is the second time I get my nails done in here. The first time I got them done with a lady and I really didn't dislike it although she was a little rude. Today I dicided to give it another chance and end up leaving to never come back. the man that seats all the way in the front of the saloon made my time there a nightmare. I went there for a fill that took him 2 hours. I constantly told him I didn't like how it was looking, and he will constantly cut my skin and with his own nail that were dirty stopping the bleeding which was not sanitary. Would give a zero if I could - very rude service from what appears to be the owner or manager. And very poor quality. She did my daughter's nails first and did a pretty good job. Then right before she was going to apply nail polish to my nails, I paid for both manicures with credit card and gave my daughter the cash for the tip at the end since my nails would still be wet. When she saw a zero tip on the credit card she did a HORRIBLE paint job on my nails. Really, really bad. I have to completely redo my nails myself tonight. She is obviously in a leadership role there, so I have no doubt she has the ability (and my daughters nails looked good)...so it has to be the tip. I love OASIS! I've been going to this place for about a year now and they've always been consistent with a great guest experience. The staff is so friendly and professional. Andy is and has always been my favorite and I always recommend him to people. I recently moved to Brandon and I still make the 30 minute commute to Wesley chapel to get my nails done here. Most positive nail experience I have ever had. The environment was soothing and extremely clean. Upon entering I was greeted by two nail techs and told them I had an appointment for a full set of acrylics and gel polish. My nail technician then ushered me to the gel polish area and told me to pick a color. I explained that I am a hairstylist so it was important I picked a color that wouldn't become stained when I was washing the color out of hair. He showed me some swatches of a new color line from opi, and also made a recommendation of a color that would look nice. I was so shocked, as nobody has done this for me previously. I took his recommendation and he brought me to his station which was clean and well kept. He made sure to match the length of my nails on both hands by cross checking. Overall the attention to detail and quality of service was amazing. I will recommend this establishment to others. Let me start by saying that I do not get pedicures often and for several reasons. Mostly because I have always found it to be a big waste of money. I know how to paint my own toes and other places that I have gone have left me disappointed. I am getting ready to go on a cruise and figured I'd shell out some money to get my toes done. Now mind you, since i don't get pedis done often, I have some good old callus and chunky cuticles as a result. I decided to stop here on my way home from work with a friend since it seemed reasonable and also convenient. The staff was friendly and took us within a few minutes. The polish selection is really large! Plenty of colors and styles to choose from. They also have a vast supply of gel polish if that's your thing. The foot baths are lines with fresh and sanitary covers and all of the tools were thoroughly cleaned. The technicians are very sweet and I could clearly see how they interacted with their returning customers as well as us newbies! There are plenty of TVs to watch and the massage chairs are very relaxing while you're getting your pedicure. If you get a gel pedicure, they have a quick dry machine that sets the polish incredibly fast. My pedicurist took plenty of time to make sure my tootsies were in the best shape they could be. Grating, chiseling and cutting away the gross stuff to make my feet smooth and happy. Plenty of leg massaging as well! The basic pedicure is $23 which is amazing for the service that is provided. My toes look fabulous and I really enjoyed my experience here. They have changed my mind about getting pedicures and I will definitely return for another. Had a pedicure done. Even though they use liners for the tub, the gasket is in the water, so you are still taking a pedicure with others before you. I never saw them spray any tubs/gaskets during my visit. The guy took tools out of a bag that looked sealed, well when I was done he poorly sprayed the tools, wiped them down with the towel used on my feet and put them back in the "sealed" bag. Went in for a manicure and pedicure and 3 minutes into the pedicure I knew it wasn't gonna be a good one. Technician barely knew how to use instruments and pedicure lasted 17 minutes. My nails are still long, jagged and  not smooth. Very disappointed. Did not get the manicure. Read Less

I went in today for a gel mani and regular pedi. I was greeted immediately when I walked in and didn't have to wait. Good color selection, of both gel and regular polish. Tee did a great job and took his time! Price was okay ... $50 for both. I haven't been here in awhile and was pleased they're accepting tips on credit cards now!I was very pleased and will be back. The first experience I had was very good. So I thought wow this is a great place. I been a total of 4 different times. The last two times I had a guy who gives bad service and made me dislike the visit so much that I will not come back unless I have an appointment with someone else. His first strike was that he smell like a pack of cigarettes, he was unapproachable and did not speak at all, the worse part was he made the pedicure painful and I left with my feet feeling sore rather than feeling  pampered. I had to pull away three times to tell alert him that it hurt and even started bleeding once. He did not apologize, nothing! He gave me a look like it was my fault. Left shaking and furious. I waiting patiently for a manicure and pedicure. It was busy. I saw people that came in after me go before me without an appoiontment. By that point I asked to put my name on the wait list so that would not continue to happen. The woman who finally came to the counter to help me said that they do not do that, that they just ask who is next. I said I have been next and people have been jumping in front of me. I was told to sit in a chair and to put my feet in the water, pruning until they hurt and not greeted by anyone after that for 45 minutes. I was not asked would you like a drink, be right with you, sorry, were busy, nothing. An hour passed and still. Nothing. The woman who was suposed to be taking care of me took 2 walk in waxes and kept overlooking me.I left and they watched me walk out. I never write reviews but this was really upsetting. Read Less

It's been a few years since I have been here. I have been to most of the nail places around here.When I came back today, I noticed they painted and did some renovations. I don't know how long it has been. It looks great.My nail tech did my pedicure and she was really nice and easy going. The last place I went to always wanted to upsell me. They never did that here. I just finally relaxed.I picked a deluxe pedicure which is $43. There are four options: cucumber, tropical, green tea, and another. I picked the tropical. It was with a mask, scrub, hot stones, everything. She took her time, and didn't rush whatsoever. She also kept checking if she hurt me. They do also have basic pedicures that are less expensive for different price preferences.This will be my go to place. I normally go to a different salon to get my nails done but I decided to try this place out. The guy who did my nails was really sweet and helped me find the gel color I really wanted. I really can't complain about the whole experience I had while in the salon. The only issue I have is when I went to remove my gel polish my nails were totally damaged and extremely weak. This has never happened to me at any other salon. I normally have very hard and long natural nails regardless if I do gel nails. I had to cut my nails down so short just to get them to stop bending but they still hurt if I try to use them for anything. Read Less

First visit to a nail salon in NPR.  Salon is located in one of the nicer shopping centers in the area.  Overall the salon is clean and staff is friendly.  Decor is nothing to write home about - a little dated.  I came in as a walk-in and salon was full.  All the chairs both mani and pedi were full and I had at least two other people ahead of me waiting for services.  Saying that wait was not bad maybe 10-15 minutes.  They seated me in one of the massage chairs to start my pedi.  Water was perfect temperature to soak my little piggies.  I was not informed of the nail tech's name.  I tried to make conversation with her a few times only to find out she didn't speak a lick of English.  There were other nail techs there that explained she was from Vietnam.  She did a nice job on the pedicure - only concern was her digging at my cuticles.  There were a couple times that she got a little rough.  She did make up for it with the longest leg/calf massage I've ever had during a pedicure.  I also requested a no chip manicure which was my main reason for the visit.  They offer CDC and Gelish -  two polishes I haven't had much luck with in the past.  I prefer OPI Gel as they typically last well over 2 weeks.  With my pedicure service still in progress she started the soak off for my no chip.  Typically most salons will have the foils on between 5-10 minutes .  I had mind on for at least 20 minutes which was a bit concerning and reason enough for me not to return.  Both mani and pedi turned out nice not the best I've had but pretty good, however they took way too long.  I was there close to 2.5 hours.  Although service was good and prices were reasonable I don't think I will return unless I am in a pinch. Update- I no longer go here because my nail tech moved.  It is a small little shop with a lot of sass.  They even have a (creepy) little kiddie pedicure chair that I think is a panda that I am sure all the little kids will love.  Beautiful salt water tank right when you walk in gives you plenty to stare at during your wait or during your manicure.  They have several polish selections which is a nice touch and can do so many designs upon request.  I love that most of the staff speak English and interact with the customers.  The previous salon I went to they were always speaking amongst themselves in whispers and of course none of us could understand.  Very tacky if you ask me.  I just like the vibe of this place much better.  If you are looking for an awesome shellac job ask for Nicole.
