Great place! They redid the whole salon and hired a bunch of new workers. Never usually a wait. Color options are decent and prices are like most salons. High end look with just regular nail salon prices. Vivian and Amy are the best for Nails and eyebrows. I was a faithful customer as I am new to the area so I went in for a color change. The lady started the trim on my toes and when she got to the pinky she cut way too far down and blood all over. She had me put my foot in water to help stop the bleeding and because my foot went in water they had the nerve to charge me for a full pedicure. Spoke to the young lady at the front desk and would not even give me a discount......and of course NO manager I was told....yea the owner was in the back....I have found a more professional nail spa and so sorry for their lack of respect for their customers. ....be careful and watch the cutting of your tootsies Read Less

I was lucky to find California Nails after having a ugly mani from other nail salon in Wellington. I absolutely loved this place. I haven't called for an appointment a but I neither have to wait. They made a marvellous composition on my nail. They actually redid them before I even had a chance to notice or request it!My nails are crisp with the color. Second time in 3 weeks that I had to wait over 20 minutes when I had an appt, then not with person requested. Last time, I stopped at California Nails in Wellington. I'm definitely glad I did try there. They got me and invited me. It's great when I had more options to choose what I liked for my nail. I love the owner. She is so sweet! The service menu is amazing and well worth the prices. I highly recommend checking out this cute, posh, new salon! First time there for a pedicure.. from the receptionist to the lady working on my feet they were all lacking in customer service. Very rude! The lady working on my pedicure was rough and again not friendly. My favorite place to get my nails and eyebrows done in Florida. I've had all kinds of treatments here over dozens of visits and it's always been a great experience and affordably priced. I never have trouble getting an appointment even though it tends to be a really busy and popular place. I got an excellent set of Nexgen nails from Tammy last week and I would highly recommend her for these! She took her time to shape them well and asked questions to be sure I got the exact look that I wanted. She was also very friendly and chatted with me through the whole appointment. My only critique is that the girls who work only as receptionists are often pretty rude. Otherwise it's a great place! Read Less

Now Florida is home and getting my nails done has that same friendly feeling I had in NY. Not to mention the wonderful job they do. Okay at best. If you're in a bind and need a quick polish change you'll be fine, but I'm not impressed and won't use as my regular salon. My cuticles weren't removed completely and there are pieces of lint in the polish that is now sealed on my nails. Read Less

I have been going California nails for 3 years now. This last visit I was not very happy. I have been taking my just turned 6 year old daughter with me to have her toes done since she was 2. Every time it has been 10. This last visit it was 20 and I am told that is the price of a kids pedi (the adult is 22). When I asked why the price jump I was told it was because they put her feet in water. Unreal. Her nails were already trimmed and she doesn't exactly need her heels worked on. First time here and service was good. Great pedicure by Lee, he definitely took his time and made sure my toe nails were perfect, clean cuticles, smooth polish.Nexgen manicure by Jonathan was nice also. He made sure my nails were done to perfection. I'd love to come back,  but I love nail design, done with rhinestones and 3D art, but they have none. They have a technician who does paint on design, but I'm not into that. This is by far the best nail salon in Wellington. It's well managed, very clean and they always do a great job. The massage chairs for pedicures are incredible and they use disposable liners in the soaking tubs. The color selections are extensive for both gel and nexgen. They do get busy, especially during the season, so I highly recommend making an appointment (even if it's the same day). Read Less
