Tried this salon for the first time.  It was not as clean as I would have liked.  The women and men who work there were on their phones and seemed like I interrupted them.  Of course no one spoke English very well so it took a while before they got what I wanted, which was gel nails.  I asked a couple of questions about what they use and just got blank stares.  So the guy does my nails and when he puts the UV dryer in front of me it is FILTHY !!  I told him it was dirty and I'm not putting my hands in  it.  Again a blank stare, so I said 'it is dirty.. not putting my hands in it'.  Finally one of the girls speaks to him and he gets another one which was clean.  I don't understand why they can't keep their stuff clean.  Don't recommend at all.  I'm going back to Celebrity Nails in Osprey.  Didn't have time to go up there but from now on I won't go anywhere else.  Sorry I took a chance on this place. If I could give a negative number of stars I would.The stereotypical nail salon where no one speaks or understands English enough to have a meaningful conversation. And, yes, they spoke their language always followed with a giggle. What are they saying about me??? It was dirty. the color selection was disappointing. the smocks were shabby and dirty.She cut my toe when trimming the nail.the cheese grater they used on my feet was horrendous and she just dipped it in the left over foot soak water to clean it. she slapped my foot as a signal when it was time to switch feet.She got polish all over my toes and when I asked to have it removed, she looked at me like I had 3 heads.The manicure was no better. the man was so rough at one point he pulled my finger to move my hand closer to him, my knuckle cracked. He trimmed my cuticles so far back I don't have any now. I swear that they used different colors than I picked out.I was referred by a friend, so I was shocked at how subpar this salon was.I felt assaulted.Do your self a favor and avoid Jade Nails like the plague. The equipment looked dirty. The technician used his long dirty fingernail to push back my cubicles which totally grossed me out. I did not leave a tip for the first time in my life...usually I tip generously. You could not pay me $30 I paid to visit that salon again. Read Less

I've had a relatively good experience here. The young man Davis who did my nails the first time I came did an excellent job. However when I went back an older man did them and he was so rough and left my cuticles bleeding. He finally walked away and let a young girl finish who did a great job. So just ask for Davis when you go, or just make sure you don't get the older man! Other than that it's a great, very clean salon! Read Less

I was just visiting the area and found them close to my work location. I went on a Thursday afternoon over lunch. Got a gel manicure and the gentleman who did my nails was personable that a great selection of colors, and overall I don't have anything negative to say. The prices were fine $30. That included my soak off of my previous gel. My nail technician was a little aggressive on my cuticles what the end result was great and they help me find the perfect color combination. This is the worst pedicure I have ever received.  My right heel was scrubbed so fast and hard it resulted in painful heel cuts.  The knowledge of the nail art industry left a lot to be desired when he polished my toes.Never going back! Read Less

I've been going to Tip Top nails on Jacaranda, and have not been happy with their services. When I walked into Jade Nails I noticed it was very open and clean looking. Other than the usual odd color painting most nail salons have, this salon was one of the nicest I've been to in Venice. I've lived here 3 years. The Acrylic Fill I received was a quick service yes, but I didn't want to be long anyway and my nails look amazing. I asked for a Polish Change on my toes, and he did a good job. As good as you can do I guess for a Polish Change. My experience was very nice. I did see a nice little bar to. Coffee, and Wine it looked like. I will definitely be going back to this Salon. This was without a doubt the worst pedicure I've ever had. When I walked in, there were four people getting pedicures. I was done before all of them. The man who did my nails did a quick, completely roughshod job and seemed to forget that my feet and toes have nerve endings attached to them. I have never felt more uncomfortable or unappreciated as a customer as I did today. I'll never come back here again. Read Less

This was my first visit to Jade Nails. I was worried about a heavy chemical smell because I am heavily pregnant and was assured that the ventilation was good and no smell was present. I arrived to my mani/pedi and the smell was very present but I went ahead with my appt. The services were just ok and I enjoyed the massage and scrub and even a few hot stones during the pedicure but the shaping of both finger nails and toe nails was poorly done. The nail polish was applied very quickly and was the worst part of the service. I had to clean up my own nails when I returned home as there was polish all over my fingers and toes. I do not think I would return to this business due to the poor quality of nail polish application. However, there were a few women who were getting fake nails applied/filled and they seemed very happy with their finished product. I could paint my own nails better at home, sad to say. Read Less
