Worst nail job EVER, and I don't get my nails done often. FIRST I wanted a simple solid color but the guy told me it was an ugly color and said he'd find another color and comes back with white. He painted white tips on my short nails which chipped the day after. I had an appointment for GEL nails not freaking nail polish and Charged me 35$ to put white polish on the tips of MY nails! This place Is so convenient to me and when I call to make an appt. There is no communication gap. I have had several techs and all are great because I usually have to come in spur of the moment when I have time. I can get a manicure, pedicure and brows all done in 1 trip...I love it. Read Less

Had never been to this salon before, I wanted to get my nails done on my way home from a road trip and stopped in this salon instead of going to my usual place. I should have trusted my gut feeling... the place felt off to me. My gel manicure was rushed, done in 10 minutes or less. 3 days later the gel was starting to pull away and by the 6th day completely peeled off 3 of my fingers. My nails were left brittle and tearing  off at the tips. Also, I don't carry cash and they don't allow you to put a tip on your debit card... so was also leaving the place  embarrassed because of that. I'll stick with my usual place from here on. Great service, took me in immediately for a pedicure, no wait at all. They offer wine and coke products. However I don't recall this place cleaning out the pedicure baths in between customers. They just rinse off with water, and then let the next customer use it. Read Less

Every time I come to the villages to visit my mother I treat her to a manicure and pedicure. We have been to 4 nail places and all have not been up to par.  Nails and beyond stays true to its name. They Were AMAZING!!! Very detailed and meticulous. It was AWESOME! I highly recommend this place. Tee and Hien were the BEST!!!! So caring towards there customers. First time I went to this nail salon. It was recommended to me by a friend. Mr T did my manicure and pedicure and I have to say it was the best one I have ever had since moving here to the Villages. He was pleasant and funny and took his time. I would highly recommend him. Read Less

It was the Sunday before our cruise. My daughter and I were looking to get our nails done for it. We stopped at multiple places only to find they were ALL closed. Feeling upset we got back in the car to drive home when we saw Nails and Beyond with an OPEN sign up. We checked the hours and they are supposed to close at four but there were still many people inside. We went in and Dan did an amazing job. We got shellac and everything even though it was long past closed. We really appreciate them staying late for us to get our nails done. Service was nice. Read Less

The owner screamed at me after one of his nail techs did a horrible job. He said that I hurt the employees feelings by saying I didn't like it. Would not refund my money and threatened to call the police. I also got a wax that pulled off my skin. Terrible place!!!!!! Read Less

Awful!  I walked in and asked for a mani /pedi. I requested gels for my nails and a matching color for toes. Looking for a red, they shared 5 colors and hot pink was the closest they had.They started with my pedicure. The worst I've ever had... the woman doing my pedicure cut my cuticles so poorly, 2 of my toes did not stop bleeding for several minutes.  This was followed by a mediocre foot massage. Next was the paint job...she kept hitting the nails she had already painted with her hand, smearing the toes she had just painted. After her rush job, I looked to find there was plenty of paint on/in my cuticles. Having been the worst pedicure I've ever had, I refused to allow them to do my manicure. Very average. Went here for a mani/pedi with my mom. We called ahead and asked what time would be good for two people to come in and it was about 45 min from when we called and when we went in they were ready for us. One of the girls who didn't have the best English tried talking my mom into doing a shellac mani but my mom couldn't understand what she was saying. It was a little pushy. The selection of colors were quite nice, they had exactly the colors I was looking for (jade and a light gold) and my mom got some really cool multi-colored OPI polishes that looked awesome on. Their regular pedicure includes an exfoliating scrub but no massage.  The girl I had wasn't overly friendly but I'm kind of used to it as I have traveled to Asia and it seemed like normal Vietnamese service lol. She did a good job on my hands, better than on my toes I felt the polish was a little sloppy on my toes. The mani held up pretty well too so no complaints there.This salon was on the tv show "Tanked" because the owner's son is on the show. So they have a giant fish tank on top of where you get your nails dried. Really cool concept except the tank looks like it hasn't been kept up very well. Very few fish in the tank and lots of algae all over the place. I still haven't found a good place in the Villages for a mani/pedi so my search will continue next year... Read Less
