I had my first appointment at the Nail Saloon today with Danny.  He was nothing short of amazing in the work he did.  I had a shellac french manicure.  He was friendly and extremely pleasant to work with.  Unfortunately, I am ready to leave for this winter and will not be able to have Danny do my nails again this trip.  But, I sure will be back in December and would not have anyone else again here in TVs.  I have been going to another nail salon here in The Villages for my seasonal 3 month visit here for the last five years.  This year, my usual manicurist I have had the last two years, who was extremely good, was on vacation in Viet Nam for the 3 months I was here.  Unfortunately, the other manicurists that I tried at that salon were nothing short of horrendous in the work they did.  I will never go back there again. They booked me an appointment with Tina for the same day. She was great. Had a pedicure, dip nail manicure and wax of eyebrows and lip. Never did I feel she rushed. I was her last appointment of the day and she was not in a hurry to get me out and asked if I wanted any waxing. Very happy with her performance. Made another appointment with her. Read Less

After visiting the Villages quite a few times I've been on the constant search for a decent nail place, and I feel like I've finally found it! The customer service wasn't great, but that could be because I'm about 40 years younger than their average customer. Also, they have dip powder for those that are looking for it! It can be hard to find down here. All OPI colors and a great current selection of colors. I will for sure be coming back here over all of the other mediocre nail salons in the villages. Read Less

I walked in this morning for a mani/pedi. They were able to get me right in with Ivy. She did a great job on both. She was very particular with my gel manicure, which I was very happy about. I love that they have their regular polish matched to their gel polish so when you get a mani/pedi you can do the same color on toes and fingernails - even if you don't want gel on your feet. I wish the salon I go to in New York would adopt that practice. Next time I'm here in The Villages I'll be in for another mani/pedi. Read Less

This is my go to nail salon! I absolutely love to sit and unwind with a glass of wine as they give the best foot massage with your pedicure and my nails never lasted as long as they do when I get them done here.. Plus my girl Chi Chi ( I think that's how you spell it) knows how to do practically any design! Read Less

No wait on a Saturday afternoon which was a treat. Good music. No offer of a drink to me but the lady that sat beside me and was offered a glass of wine water or soft drink so maybe they just forgot to ask me.  Now to the work.....fast pedicure 30 minutes from the minute I sat down to drying. Salt leg scrub but no foot massage. While drying no shoulder rub. The polish and cut was good work just wanted the extras.  My feet look dry so maybe lotion or oil would have been nice. I walked in with botched, white trashy, half falling off acrylic tip nails and walked out after a professional, gorgeously finished gel manicure from the owner herself. She took her time, ensured she removed the acrylic properly and painlessly (!!), and was so detailed with the manicure. I said to her while I sat there that the treatment was by far the most pleasant I've had in The Villages and I would most certainly return. Just slightly pricier than I've paid at other inferior salons but absolutely worth it! Also, I really liked that the salon didn't smell like acrylic, despite a treatment going on right next to me. This salon is only even getting 2 stars because they were flexible and able to fit me in for a new full set same day without an appointment and they are reasonably priced. That was the only good part of the experience. The nail tech was rushed and rushed my appointment. The quality and work is horrible. He didn't clean any of the paint up from my cuticles after his application. Majority of the sides of my nails were missed and never painted. A couple of nails were only painted half way, leaving it to appear that I already need a fill! I am thoroughly disappointed. I will have to remove the polish myself and repaint them. I was hoping this salon would show a higher standard of standard considering its is located in Brownwood. This was my second visit and the first for my mother who is very particular.  Both of us got pedicures and gel manicures.  The technicians were friendly and extremely efficient.I get these services every 2 weeks and they are definitely very good.  Even my mom is ready to go back and she's not easy to please.
