This was my 1st time at Pia. I was greeted as soon as I walked into the spa. The spa atmosphere was very inviting, smelled lovely and was very clean. I went to pia to get my eyelashes tinted and came out with them looking exactly the same. Results should have shown up on my blonde lashes and instead nothing showed up. Along with that, my eyes started to feel a severe burning sensation. When I told the technician she didn't seem to care, and minutes later, long after I told her it burned, she put some foreign eye drops in my eye. It was definitely not worth the 20 dollars I spent. I have been going to pia's for about 6 years now (south tampa and westchase) mainly for waxing and some facials, and this is my first time that i need to write a review! Today i had the greatest service. Initially i came only for a much needed pedicure and ended up getting squeezed in for a last minute deep tissue massage by Doreen. My pedicure was done by Katherine (i hope i got her name right ) was wonderful! she was very friendly and welcoming. She took for consideration m...y concerns and listened to me speak about my back pain. She offered to turn on the massage chair :) She mentioned to me about the specials in massages they have out but was not pushy about it. She even advised me about Doreen. As katherine finished my pedicure she let me stay seated to finish my tea and my nailpolish to dry off. As i was waiting, Doreen comes in to introduce herself and show me a natural ointment that would help my backpain. She as well was not pushy about selling me products but did test the product where i was hurting. I decided to see about setting up an appointment and inquired to Doreen about her available times if possible today. As we were talking, my back pain was too much that she started going above and beyond to squeeze me in today. For the first time, i had a 30 minute deep tissue massage at Pia's! Her hands are magical!! I came out with lesser pain which she was able to calm the painful muscles on my lower back!! I was very pleased with both their services. If only I didn't live 3.5 hours away from Tampa I would so make this my regular spa! It was such a pleasure to discover this place through yelp my last Saturday in Tampa city. I was hoping to get a pedicure and this came as one of the top rated placed however, they did not have any openings for nails so I opted for brows ( which was much needed as well). I could not have been happier with my decision. I have not had my brows professionally waxed in quite awhile because I lost usual brow technician and have been weary of others. However, I had such a high quality waxing experience I would drive all the way down again just for this service!  This salon is located in a beautiful area of town and the spa itself is relaxing and very accommodating. I have been to this spa for microdermabrasion, facials and massage a few times in the past and services were always good. I just returned for a Perfecto Massage with Andrea and it was one of the best I've ever had. Excellent service - I hope to be back soon and will definitely be asking for her again. Read Less
