A great spot! I'm new to town and read several reviews to help find a new nail salon. I opted to try Katie's based on the reviews which said; clean, efficient, no real small talk, and actual walk in service, which is everything I like. I stopped in on a Thursday shortly after opening. There were two ladies getting pedicures and a free nail tech. I asked if I could get a fill and pick out my colors. The nail tech greeted me and brought me to his station. Nasty place nasty owner his attitude stinks n they not even good at doing nails they are just decent !!!! I came to Katie's for a gel manicure and was sat down as soon as I walked in the door. The staff is super nice and friendly. I don't know who did my nails but it was a nice lady! I liked her a lot she was  accommodating , polite, and nice!  I was looking at the many gel polish colors and needed a couple of minutes, excuse my indecisiveness. You can't give me to many options. I just moved from Los Angeles to Tampa, more so westchase, and this place was less than a mile away so it worked out perfect. It was a slower day so they took me right away for a regular pedicure ($20). I had the most amazing massage on my legs and feet and he took his time which is awesome. I absolutely love this place! I travel from Carrollwood and pass other shops for them. They are the friendliest people and not like other shops who try to hurry you out without doing a good job. First time here today! I got a gel manicure and absolutely love it. They really took the time to make sure to get the shape of the nail I wanted and noticed that the color was a little light and added another coat. Kati, Peter and the rest of the staff are fantastic. It's the best place in the bay area to relax, laugh and have a mani, pedi. Stopped by on saturday and it was pretty busy. I had to wait about 15-20 minutes for my pedicure and full set which generally I would be annoyed about but it was busy and Kate was super attentive and apologetic. I got a natural full set and I'm pleased with the overall job. I didn't like the way they did my pedicure at all but I'm picky when it comes to my feet so I won't judge harshly for it.They also have great hours at this location so I'll definitely be coming back. We had a delicious dinner at Cody's and asked our waitress if she knew anything good or bad about Katie's and she said she hasn't been anywhere else in years, that they were fantastic.
