I found Glow Day spa 9 years ago .I was living between miami and Tampa . Not to mention doing lots of business in New York I have been  to the most well known spas in the world . Spent hundred of thousands through out the past 9 years in skin care , massage , body treatments and so many techniques . I was blown away when I first had my first facial and massage at glow . I was suffering from awful what I called acne on back and face yet I realized through Kerry and Wesley I was so off what I really had happening on my face . They introduced me to life changing skin care all natural far cheaper than anything sold on a shelf in saks or even Sephora . It was so reasonable that I thought it wouldn't work . I was programmed to think if it's reasonable the price it won't work . Today I am still a client the longest I went due to travel without a Facial was a year my skin was Perfect because what they did on me healed my skin and I use the products they educated me on .Wesley and her mom Kerry are skincare gurus .They are a endless source of information . Wesley is the most generous person I have ever met . Gives so much time and freebies to people . I have to say while everyone is entitled to an opinion I have recommended many people to this spa and never got a bad review back . I think some of the negative comments on here are people who are use to oriental spa who throw in the kitchen sink for $2.00.And are missing out on the things that Glow provides . Berk is an insanely wonderful massage therapist who is so polite and makes sure every client leaves feeling better than when they walked in the door. Myself & 7 other girlfriends all had treatments here recently whilst on an out of town trip. The Spa boutique is beautifully decorated. I worked with Cassidy on planning this girls day......she was so sweet & lovely Cassidy was very helpful, professional and everything went to plan.....very happy girls! My masseuse was Tiffany, amazing hands!!! I've never had anyone work on me like that.....she definitely knows what she's doing!!! Writing this review on behalf of my boss whose English is limited.My boss' wife came to this boutique last Tuesday and purchased a product. 5-10 minutes after leaving the store, she realized that the product had already been opened and was already used by someone else. She promptly returned back to the store with receipt in hand and asked for a replacement. The associate refused, stating that they do not issue refunds, store credit, or returns. My boss' wife then requested to speak to a manager, and was told there was none on duty - However, the associate did write down my boss' wife's contact info and stated that she would pass it along to a manager, and a manager would contact her soon. 5 days later, and a call has yet to have been made.This spa yields an unprofessional staff with terrible customer service. Was in Tampa visiting friends for the weekend and went Glow for a pedicure. Best pedicure I've had in a long time! The nail polish they had was one I've never tried before either (can't remember the nail, short, fat bottle) four weeks later my toe polish looks like I just got it done. I loved the nail/pedi room. If your looking for a massage that leaves you feeling so refreshed and relaxed, that you lose all orientation look no further.  I scheduled a 90min Swedish with Veronica, and I think she was honestly sent from heaven!  She is hands down the best masseuse I've had ever!  And I get massages at least twice a month for lower back and leg pain from being a hard working nurse!  She knew exactly where to press lightly and where to do deeper, by the end I felt like a whole new person!  I only wish I lived closer, I'd go here every week!  So cute with the snakes and beverages, very well laid out boutique. I have been getting lash extensions in other states/various places we have lived and traveled to for about 5 years. I go in every 2 weeks for fills, because my lashes always look sparse by that time. We recently moved to Tampa and I went to see Kimiya at the spa. She told me my lashes should hold up about 4 weeks, and I laughed. I was SHOCKED that every fill has made it to that point, and honestly I can push them to the 1 month mark. This is for the same price I had been paying for my biweekly fills! I visited this spa for my first prenatal massage. I am 5 months pregnant and began experiencing excruciating lower back pain. After a week of dealing with it, I scheduled an appointment here primarily because they accommodate pregnant customers with a pillow that you can lay on your stomach during the massage. That instantly sold me on their business. It was worth every penny. The masseuse was amazing and gave me yet best massage I have ever had. It brings me great pleasure to write this review. I have been to Glow for services twice - this past Saturday, and prior to that was in 2010 while visiting from NYC. This spa legitimately deserves five stars, and it isn't very often that I will say that.Upon arrival, I was greeted and offered a variety of soothing beverages to enjoy while I completed some paperwork; not to mention that the sounds of Nouvelle Vague's music filled the room (a rare chance that I would encounter a venue whose owners were also familiar with her awesomeness). The chai tea that I sipped on (and I finished ALL of it) was absolutely divine. I will definitely be back to purchase some for myself, as the hostess advised me that they sell it in-house.A lady by the name of Wesley (pretty confident I have that right), was scheduled to do my facial. I need to mention that they were super flexible in scheduling my appointment. I called the day before, frantic about a mountain of a whitehead that had developed near my chin. It was the third one in a month in the same vicinity so I knew that a facial had to move to the top of my priority list.  I called one other south Tampa spa and was turned down for a Saturday appointment. When I called Glow, the voice on the other end was very kind and she advised that they could squeeze me right in. She politely informed me of their cancellation policy, but that was just fine. I knew that I would not need to cancel within 24 hours - hell, they were booking me with less than 24 hour notice! I was very grateful.The facial itself was excellent. My esthetician was incredibly knowledgeable. She tailored my facial prescription to fit the needs of my skin, and her knowledge was very reassuring, as I was quite nervous to have the nastiness extracted from my face. Nevertheless, you know what they say - beauty is pain! The amazing shoulder and head massage definitely made up for the pain encompassing my face while she extracted all of the congestion from my pores. It was a one hour facial and at the end, Wesley kindly provided me with some  discounts for some of the services rendered that I may not have agreed to otherwise. I highly anticipated a huge sales pitch from my esthetician as many of them do post-services, and I surprisingly did not receive that.  She gave me some advice regarding the types of things I should be using on my skin, showed me one product that she believed would be beneficial for me, and left it that. I ended up purchasing a clay filled sponge of some type that I am looking forward to trying out. After all was said and done, the damage was less than $130! I am confident that more trips to Glow are in my future. Oh and that mountainous whitehead is near-gone and it has only been one day since the facial! Read Less

I have experienced a variety of their services, facials, massages, nails (gel too!) and have been thrilled with the results. I always wanted to get lash extensions but was hesitant as I have super sensitive skin. I told Wesley this and she gave me a mini background on the type of lashes, etc and told me that I should give it a try. Honestly, I'm beyond pleased with the results. Thea was amazing; she asked all the right questions to get an idea of what I envisioned (natural, bold, thicker, or longer look) and brought it to reality. I decided to go with a more natural, longer look and she did a blend of synthetic and mink lashes with varying lengths. It's a lengthy process but worth every second of it! I was new to the Tampa area as I started graduate school in January and was looking for a relaxing, charming, and effective spa to have a facial.  I have cystic bumps which create a tricky situation if not treated properly.  My sorority sister recommended Glow Day Spa due to the experience and pampering atmosphere.  Though it can get pricey, the luxury that is provided to each client is worth it.  Wesley is always accommodating, as my face reacted a few times for various reasons.  She never made me feel insignificant, and would text to ensure that my face was clearing and would ask follow up questions to see what else could be done to achieve a perfect "glow"!  The massages and scrubs included in the facial are the perfect cherries on  top to a wonderful time.At times they do get busy, but I was never told that the owner was too busy to talk.  If she was with a client, the receptionist would ask for my name, and contact details and I would get a call either the same day or within 24 hours from Wesley. This place is really cute and relaxing. The Parisian theme is to die for, you really feel like you could look out the window and see the Eiffel Tower. These ladies are super professional and I recieved an outstanding massage. The prices are reasonable as well. The waiting room is beautifully decorated and has every magazine that you would need to relax and the snacks are fantastic! I showed up 2 hours early because I needed to de-stress but had a flight to catch right after the massage. The ladies got me out in a timely fashion without resetting the Stress button. Great experience at this spa. I felt so much more comfortable and welcomed than at Spa Jardin. I nearly reduced by one star because the receptionist had a "too cool for you" attitude when we first walked in and we stood around awkwardly with our paperwork before one of the clinicians showed us that we could sit down to fill it out. Loved the massage - excellent technique and so relaxed that I nearly fell asleep.  The linens are perfectly soft and pressed. The decor is not-so-shabby chic and really charming. Fits the bungalow. I recently visited Glow based on the recommendation of a co-worker to set up a Spa day for my wife which included a manicure/pedicure, facial and massage. Being a man that does not frequent many day spas, I was delighted to be treated with warmth, respect and professionalism. Each of the aestheticians that I came in contact with was more than accommodating and made me feel very comfortable though I am sure I did not appear to be. My wife said the Spa experience was the absolute best she had ever had and commented specifically on Carrah and Wesley as exceptional purveyors of luxurious relaxation. I used to live in Tampa and just moved back to the area a few months ago from New York. I had frequented Glow Day Spa back in 2006, just a few years after they had opened and to be honest I loved Glow so much that leaving them behind was the worst part of my move from Tampa to NY. Now that Im back, I decided to make a few appts, Mani, pedi, facial and massage, not knowing what to expect after being away for so long. Well, I am happy to say Glow is like a fine wine, it just got BETTER with age! I didnt think it was possible for the treatments to be more amazing or for the products to be more luxurious or for their boutique to be any more fabulous but it was! To my surprise most of the staff was still their, along with a few new faces and the owner actually found a way to perfect perfection!;) I was given the option to have my nail treatments outside in their adorable ""Sun sanctuary"" which I did and LOVED it! (they even brought me infused cool towels and a white sangria!) Wesley, the owner, worked her magic on my skin, which left me ""glowing"";) and my massage (forgot the wonderful techs name) was out of this world. I also snagged the most amazing necklace and the cutest beach cover up EVER in their boutique. I paid a visit to Glow on a referral from a few friends. I called last minute for a manicure and pedicure for an up coming wedding I was in. The receptionist was very friendly and apologized that they were booked , to my suprise she actually offered to ask the technician to stay late for me but unfortunately the time did not work for me so she said she would be happy to put me on a wait list. I figured I would never be called but fortunately they called me the next day with a cancellation ( great customer service). My pedicure was outstanding in every way. I was blown away by the attention to detail not only in my pedicure,which by the way was beyond luxurious but throughout the entire spa. The space itself is beautifully appointed and the boutique was refreshingly unique and filled with great clothing and gift ideas. I used to be a regular customer until I was treated unfairly by one of the staff upper management. Just be cautioned...anytime you are running late by a couple of minutes, don't even try to make it to your appointment, they will give it up in an instant, even if you call ahead of time to let them know you are running late. I just recently moved back to the area after a few years of living abroad. I had been a client of Glow's years ago and was anxious to return for their fabulous spa services. To my suprise they had expanded while I was away and added the smartest little boutique I had yet to find! I was tickled to see that my favorite candle line from over seas was being carried in my home town at Glowie and I also scored a beautiful dress and cardigan. I went to Glow Day Spa last week for a facial and had the best facial ever by Wesley. She was really knowledgeable on skincare and helped me pick out some great products to use at home. I especially loved the Organic skincare line from Hungary that she uses and sells. Also they had an area dedicated to nails called the Nail Bar which was really cool. I can't wait to come back and get a mani/pedi. You can tell this place spared no expense to make it the best! You would never see this place if you weren't looking for it. My friend has lived down the street her whole life and had never seen it before. It's right off a main road and it's a converted house, so it just kinda blends in.BUT you should look for this place and you should book a treatment or two. The staff are all very nice. They offer you wine when you walk in and you fill out paperwork and wait for your treatment in a sitting room with ambrosia infused water and little snack bites.The nails room is super cute with more nail polish than I've ever seen except for sale in Ulta. They seem to have the complete collection of Chanel nail polish too!I had a massage with Kara and I swear I think she has magical hands. She put just the right amount of pressure to relax me while working out those kinks and put me right to sleep. When you first arrive, you fill out a survey so that the masseuse can prepare for your treatment.My sister had a facial and a massage. She really enjoyed her treatments as well. However, they use all organic products which are apparently preserved with silver. My sister did not know she had any allergies, but judging by the hives she got when they misted her with silver at the end of her facial, she now knows she's allergic to silver! Once they realized she was having an allergic reaction though, they were even more accommodating to her and her skin cleared up almost right away.I will most definitely be booking another spa trip the next time I visit my sister.
