My daugther and I had an amazing time at the Tampa Blo Blow Dry Bar. I loved the service, this is the second time for me, and I’ve fallen in love with several of the products—including the 7 second miracle and I am mad for the Glo primer—yes they do makeup and nails there too. I love this salon! The staff is so friendly and accomodating! I have visited at least 7 times already and have never had a bad experience. I am really disappointed in my experience. So I went today for a blow out and pedicure and both were huge let downs. My hair has completely fallen and is almost stick straight. I have had many blow outs before and this has never happened I am currently redoing my hair I’m not sure if hairspray was applied. Then my pedicure felt really short it says 30 minutes but it only took about 20 and she had me put my shoes on to do the paint and when I got home and looked all the dead skin was still on my foot. She simply painted my toes, I paid for a pedicure and simply got a color change. I spent $100 at the salon today after tip and am currently redoing everything they got wrong. I very seldom write reviews and when I do it’s usually with somewhere I’m impressed but today was awful and I’m really disappointed. I will have to find a different blow bar in Tampa. Read Less

I scheduled a blow out and makeup services for a company holiday party this weekend. I had a great experience and would recommend it to anyone! My hair looked amazing and held up all night. I had my makeup done by Amber who is fabulous. She listened to my vision and made it happen! I got the smoky eye and Glam face that I asked for! I will be back to see her! My wedding was 11/11/17. I planned this three months before and was lost on where or who for my hair and makeup. I have seen Blo bar before and looked up reviews. I saw Becca’s name a couple of time and decided that’s who I wanted. When i went in the manger Alicia was so helpful and before I mentioned anyone she set me up with Becca. On wedding day as soon as I arrived to Blo bar everyone was so nice. Becca was so sweet and exceeded my expectations. I couldn’t imagine my hair or makeup coming out any better. Need a special hairdo in the Tampa area? Don't think about going anywhere but the Blo Blow Dry Bar on West Boy Scout Boulevard! Seriously.I had an appointment for a blow out here a few weeks ago--and everything was just superb. I chose one of their signature blow outs from their book, which made things easy (I could've brought in a picture of a specific 'do, but I knew that I wanted one of their signature looks).Upon walking in, the staff was extremely accommodating. I came with my mom, and we both offered something to drink, and were treated almost immediately (yes, we had appointments--but still, it was great to have no wait time).Becca did my hair, and she did a FABULOUS job in 15 minutes! I was STUNNED--never had my hair been done so well, and so quickly; she is truly a master, and I couldn't recommend her more (apparently she's also the salon manager?).Because my mom has short hair, she didn't need any hair styling--so she got her nails done, instead (as I had my hair done). We were both treated like royalty, and were extremely happy with our final results. Everything worked out perfectly.Appointments can be made online, or over the phone, which is extremely convenient. And the prices are very reasonable, as well!If you can't already tell, I have nothing bad to say about the Blo Blow Dry Bar in Tampa--and for that reason, I simply couldn't recommend it more. I walked into the salon, never being to a blow bar before. I was immediately greeted and asked if I wanted a beverage and magazine. My stylist was on time and very friendly. She had patience with me and showed me the different styles and what each had to offer. The process was fast and I was pleased with my results.
