I love this place! The people are always friendly, the shop is always clean and my nails always look excellent-- I see Tan whenever I go. He gives great mani-pedis and also did my eyebrows really well when I was in a pinch and needed them done quickly and was not able to go to my regular spot. This is close to my home and I am a regular here for a few years now with consistently good work, even when Tan has not been there, any of the other folks are just as good! I would definitely recommend NY Nails. They also have options for the little ones to get their nails done-- smaller Hello Kitty chairs. I started going here because quiet frankly I'm all about concveniece. It's been a year now, I can say I've never had a bad experience. I've only had to back one time because my nails were tarting to peel a little too soon. They didn't hesitate to redo and not charge me. I usually get a pedi and gel nails. Very nice people, but just warning that I picked up a case of athlete's foot there. I did not see their routine for sanitizing foot tubs. I know that they do not use disposable liners. Things things happen perhaps, but I will not return. The manager who I was told was Mary did not follow up with a return phone call. As it relates to the service, I got a manicure and pedicure. If I could give them zero stars I would.  Walked in on Mother's Day to get a pedicure with my daughter.   They were busy and I offered to go get my groceries while they finished, she even took my name.  When I returned they had seated 3 others for pedicures and told me I had to wait another 15 minutes.  Pretty frustrating given I gave them 45 minutes already.  I left and would not return there. Do not go to this place. I went today and had a wax done on my face. The skin was taken off of my chin and I had to sit in a hallway with the back door open across the bathroom which had a bad smell coming out of it. Now my chin is still buring at this time of night. Read Less

I also live in Tampa, but frequently visit Tallhassee. This is the BEST salon out of all I've visited in both cities. Kim is meticulous and really makes sure things are done right. The pedicure chairs are AWESOME. Atmosphere is relaxing and the staff is friendly. A must-try salon. Read Less
