I go to Deena who hangs her hat , or scissors I should say  at this quaint salon. Her business name is Salon Fomdacaro..  The salon is on the north end of downtown Stuart and is a house that has been converted into a salon.I have noticed some grays coming In lately so wanted to find out if I should highlight or color my hair for the first time. Deena took her time and consulted with me telling me the difference between the two and what we could do if I decided I didn't let Ken it. She said if for any reason I didn't like it , she could put foils in to bring back my natural color. The thought of coloring my hair had me nervous, because people have told me all my life it would be impossible to get my color. I like the girl Sabe she is sweet but her work not really good at all. I did the keratin and it didnt straighten after 2 days without shower like she told me. The hair comeback to normal and she didnt take responsibility what she have done to the hair. Read Less

Sabe was amazing! I have always wanted a keratin treatment, and Sabe gave me my dream hair! She took her time and was super thorough and professional. My hair is now so soft and manageable. I love it! My hair was dead and rough. It was half curly have wavy, and pretty frizzy. Now my hair looks so shiny and healthy. I would not even grace this salon with a star but had to. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. Just two weeks into having a "new owner" this place has gone to hell. The "owner" Jen (who I had the unfortunate pleasure of allowing to touch my hair) was RUDE, actually rolled her eyes at me, and just made what was to be an enjoyable day getting ready for a wedding into a nightmare. She was not knowledgable in hair at all or styling up-dos (even with picture assist & two "assistants") Jen also boasted about using "super cheap Walgreens special hair spray"..thought this was supposed to be an organic salon!? I just recently became aware of all the chemicals used by most people on a daily basis and have been eager to eliminate as many as possible.  This includes those products  I would come in contact with when visiting a hair salon.A friend told me about Mi Lenka and have been pleasantly surprised.  Not only does the salon offer all organic and chemical free hair care products (including color) but the salon is just wonderful in every way.  The staff is friendly, the salon is funky, modern and hip and the quality of the cut you get is top notch.  This is cutting edge and not so much for the wash a set sort of crowd.There are several different service providers but I've only had the pleasure of having Lenka cut my hair. It took a lot for me to leave the stylists I had been going to to for several years but I wish I had done it sooner. Read Less
