This is my second time coming to this spa and I love it just as much as the first time.   This place is right by the water and very relaxing.  We purchased a Groupon and it was very affordable for a couples massage.  We received a massage, scrub treatment on our feet, lunch, and paraffin wax. We bought a gift certificate a year ago. We came in to make an appointment for the following week. It was quite busy, so we sat in the quaint waiting area. While we were waiting, they treated us like movie stars. We got complimentary sangria and cool towels for our necks. They let us sit outside and took pictures of us for our memories. This spa is absolutely gorgeous. I can't imagine a more spectacular location to relax. You walk in, are greeted with world class customer service and are then escorted into the main body of the spa which has French doors overlooking a gorgeous vista of the St. Lucie River with palm fronds framing it just so. My massage was absolutely fantastic and I could feel a gentle Florida breeze on my body from the moment I arrived. They use products that focus on aroma therapy and I'm telling you it's the most relaxed I've ever been!. Though I've always been a fan of A Day of Delight, I have really noticed a positive difference in the energy of this establishment since the change in management. Jackie is AMAZING. As of today, January 23, 2017, no one called me back to book our services. I called no less than 5 times, spoke with the receptionist and was assured a booking agent would call me back. Nope, never. If I could put a 0 I would. My husband had a full day set up for me as a Christmas gift. Date confirmed and everything set for Jan. 6 9am. I got there early so I could do my paperwork and let's face it, I was excited. I'm 10 months post baby and have yet to actually stop a full day for myself. Needless to say Noone showed up to even open the place nor answer my phone calls. Sat in the parking lot for over an hour and half waiting and still Noone. What a beautiful romantic setting for my wife and i to enjoy our 10th anniversary. Granted we had a hard time getting through on the phones but persaverance paid off. I was told about this wonderous place by a fellow colleague and he gave it rave reviews as i found out first hand why. The staff was so accomadating and extremely kind and warm.making my appointment was as easy as pie when dealing with the booking specialists. Not worth your money. Beautiful old waterfront Florida house converted into day spa. Sadly you can't appreciate it due to the amount of clutter. Staff is very friendly although a bit disorganized, not very professional no uniforms (one employee in board shorts, owner refers to guest as "love muffin"). Would have been nice to get a robe/slippers since girls group there for 5hrs. Have to pay upfront then no where to store your belongings. Well, this place is a bit eclectic to say the least. The people were wonderfully hospitable. The place is a little cluttered, the food was mediocre, and the music a bit overwhelming.As far as the massage, although the masseur was very nice, his technique was very gentle and soothing. A little turned off by the groupon deals. The owner called before I went to fully explain the different treatments that I purchased. I was still a little confused when I got there and the massage therapist asked me if I wanted the 25min massage and 24 min body scrub. I Thought I was getting an hour massage and an additional body scrub. As the owner explained after my treatments the groupon was for a massage and body scrub, which lasted a total of an hour.  A little confusing as it's not what I understood the first time she called. But all the services were fine and I was satisfied for the most part. My only wish was I checked focus on my neck and back and my therapist was all over the place and took her hands off my body quite a bit as she got more oil on her hands. Usually when I have had other massages the therapist keeps a hand on the body for continuous touch. The lunch we had was very light, but super delicious. I would have liked to have had a large glass of their orange infused water. After the massage they gave us a small 4oz goblet. You would think they would want you to have lots of water after a massage to flush out the toxins. I would recommend going to the spa. But clarifying  all treatments upfront before hand. Skip the lunch but stay to relax on the lanai and ask for a LARGE glass and pitcher of water to enjoy or a pot of tea. Read Less

It is a very nice and well decorated place with a beautiful view of the waterfront, indeed and I was happy to have experienced a massage outdoors. You can tell that they really took the time in decorating and making the place look relaxed and a retreat away from the busy world. My boyfriend and I booked an appointment for  the Valentine's day ultimate couples package that includes a 2 hour massage followed by a chocolate retreat foot massage, lunch, and a couple's take home gift bag. The ladies were friendly and most were accommodating. We started with a massage at the gazebo by the waterfront. Unfortunately, this is where it all started to go downhill. We were in robes and when we asked for privacy, the older masseuse threw her hands up in distress like she didn't want to have to do more work than she was already doing (which was just the massage) and they didn't seem grasp the understanding that we would flash the people sitting on the patio, who were staring at us, and the common sense of having privacy, so my boyfriend and I struggled to undress under the towels and blankets on the massage tables, one of the tables not having the cushion to lay my head down so I ended up turning my head left and right every now and then but created a sore jaw. The massage overall was awkward considering the fact that it started at our feet( and the feet are where the exit gateways are to release your toxic energy as well as the fingertips). It just made me feel that the masseuses we had did not go to a real massage school or had any experienced training. If they did, then their training sucked big time. My masseuse decided to wipe her lotioned hand into my hair instead of wiping it with a cloth. My hair isn't a cloth and there's a reason why there is a difference between body lotion and hair creme. By the end of the massage, I had a terrible stomachache and headache, and an itchy irritating scalp. If you have been to a real massage parlor with real masseuses, you wouldn't enjoy it here. We didn't get our chocolate retreat foot massage as mentioned in our package. The masseuses were completely clueless to the fact of what included in the packages offered. The 'I didn't know, I'm just a masseuse' doesn't cut it. You have a mouth, you could have asked. You're a masseuse working for this business and being clueless certainly gives the business a bad rep, and links back to you. So, if your answer is 'I didn't know' is really childish. From the beginning, the lady who greeted us looked like she didn't have a clue what we were scheduled for and kept blaming one another for their own faults which made me come to believe that their staff communication system was very poor. No one knew what we were supposed to be having. The lunch was not really a full meal lunch, it was more like a snack but our server was the sweetest and I liked her personality and how she took care of us. By the end, they were rushing to go into service and when I asked for the couples take home bag, it was filled with only women products when the package specifically labeled 'couples' take home gift bag. The products were disappointing since it had nothing of their sample products that were displayed on their shelves so it didn't make sense to me. We had a package deal with couples massage and lunch. Absolutely LOVE the facility and location. The massages were fantastic, we were given the option to upgrade the massage but chose not to. Mixed reviews about the food. The tomato soup was fantastic, but the vegetable frittata was average, very spongey. My husband and I originally came to this spa because I bought a groupon for a couples massage . Scheduling was a pain, as I left numerous messages and it took almost a month of calling to get a call back. Upon arrival, I felt a plethora of emotions. Yes, they are located on the water, but as you walk in, it almost feels like a garage sale. There are knock knacks EVERYWHERE. My husband and I are both clean, neat and organized people, so it was difficult to fight the urge to get up and start dusting. It took. Long time for us to be Abel to sign in due to a complete lack of organization on the spa and it's employees behalf. After signing in we has to sit and wait in old uncomfortableNon-matching chairs while staring at the dirt and dust all over the place. I have been to many spas, they usually have a clean and relaxing atmosphere. NOT HERE.  Our massage therapists were kind and did a decent job. However, the hassles tHat began with simply trying to schedule and growing with the dirt and disorganization of the facility make it a 0 star location. To add insult to injury, I recently received a gift. Certificate from a friend to the location. I have called over one dozen times to try to schedule and STILL have not received a call back. I do not know how they stay in business but, AGaIN, I cannot stress enough to you all the reasons NoT to go here. My two sisters, my mom, and I had a great experience at this spa. We had massages, body scrubs, and lunch. We located the spa when we were looking for something nice to do for my mom for her birthday, which is on Christmas Eve. We looked through Groupon and found a great deal at this place. My sister called to make sure they had appointments available on Christmas Eve before we purchased the Groupon. They told her the Groupon was sold out, but they would honor the deal for us. Super nice of them! They also said they would throw in extra goodies for my mom to take home since it was her birthday!We arrived and were immediately greeted and given a complimentary glass of wine. They then took us to two separate rooms, two people in each room. (We wanted to be together as much as possible.) My massage and body scrub was done by Allen. On top of being very attractive, he was very attentive to the areas of my back that were tight and very friendly. My mom and sisters were also very happy with their services from Amanda, Suzie, and Steve. After the massage, lunch was served out on the deck that has a great view of the water and nature surrounding the small business. The food was not at all disappointing and our meal was ended with chocolate cake! Yum! They gave us each a goodie bag to take home and gave my mom a little bottle of champagne to celebrate her day!
