The lady lulu who did my eyelash extension was very rude and irresponsible. I told her my left eyes were very uncomfortable while she was filling my upper eyelashes. She ignored me and kept doing it. I complained for like 5times in the meantime. When she's done, I thought it was too long but she kept telling me" hey you look pretty". Then she went to help other customers. After a few hours I went home, my eyes were all red. I tried to call her like 5 times before the store closed because I'm afraid if anything happen to my eyes and asked her if she could help me to remove them. When She finally answered, she was very rude and acted like it was not her business because she went home already. Now I'm omw to hospital. ask for Lulu. You will regret it. Best facial I've ever gotten, I looked younger, thats sound funny cause I always make fun of people who say that, but my skin really looks amazing.Ask for Lulu!!! Located by the Victoria Secret and LA Fitness lies this nail salon in the Sunset Place mall. Purchased by a Chicago owner three months ago, this place has gone under some renovation and upgrades- complete with Korean inspired nail tech lines. For the month of Sept., there are sampling a new Korean line (will have to go back to get the name). The facility honors quite a few specials: foot masks, friend referrals, checking-in and writing a review on Yelp -to name a few. My particular nail tech, Helman, was very gentle. I received a OPI gel mani (though they have a couple of different gel lines available) and regular pedi (gotta love a massage chair). All in all, I found the experience to be accommodating (took me in as a walk-in) and cleanly. I will come back to make the most of the other specials! Read Less

I'm in total awe that after they made me drive here.  Did  it mention that they charge 10 additional dollars to take the gel off your nails when 1you are going to get a gel manicure and a pedicure with the outrageous prices that they charge. I have followed my manicurist to this salon. My latest experience was rather poor. I had an 11:30 appointment and when I arrived I saw my manicure at doing a pedicure on someone. After 30 minutes of waiting I asked the receptionist what was happening. She said walk ins are taken ahead no matter if I have an appointment. The receptionist was so rude. I am a regular of my manicurist who is great but can't return because of the policy and rudeness. Customers should be treated with respect. Read Less

They were extremely nice super polite. They have a lot of colors to choose from the only thing I didn't like is that the color I picked was old and she added acetone to it which means my nail polish will last less time but next time I'll bring my own color other than that it was great they dried my feet with hot towels and all they really pamper you there. Also she was so delicate I didn't flinch not once when she was cutting the extra skin you get around your nails and normally at other places they're super rough when it comes to that so that was def a plus I had no pain at all it was a great experience just a little pricey. I've had mixed experiences here. The staff is friendly and polite but the work can be iffy. Once I came here got a full gel set and they lasted two weeks before needing a fill and no breakage at all. I came in a few months later got the exact same thing and they popped off within days. No change in activity just crappy work, I should have complained before I left with the nails but I needed to get back to work. So it really depends on the mood of the tech, if your going to get good nails or bad ones. Read Less

Went for for a full acrylic set and Disa did an amazing job !!! I didn't have to wait at all she fit me right in! this will definitely be my go to nail spot for now on !! I can't review their service because they had NONE.  I made 3 appointments at the same time on a Wednesday for the following Saturday.  I insisted that they had to be done at the same time because this was a special occasion.  The person I talked to said "twice" that it wouldn't be a problem.  We arrived a few minutes before the appointment to find just ONE employee working, doing nails and acting as receptionist.  With a very nasty attitude she told us that we could not have our manicures because only she was working that day and that the person that made the appointment on the telephone was supposed to have called me to let me know.  "Nothing I can do now" were her words.  Not a place I would EVER give my business to and definitely not a place I would EVER recommend.  No customer service whatsoever.  Fortunately there are plenty of nail spas in the area. They were able to fit me in last minute and were very attentive. All tools are individually packaged and clean. The pedi rooms are lovely and private. Relaxing massage chairs. Got the Lumi pedi. Don't be fooled by the cheap prices, because the service is not worth it, there are hidden additional charges for no reason. The facilities and some of the manicurists are fine, BUT one lady in particular completely ruined my experience at this nail salon.The woman who did my nails was incredibly  DISRESPECTFUL. She made inappropriate remarks about wanting my necklace, called my friend "whore" without any apparent reason. In addition, she called me "a weird girl" for not answering her when she raised her voice at me while referring to me as ´Spain´ instead of by name.She even implied that I had to get my eyebrows done which was extremely out of order.Instead of asking me to move my hands or feet, she literally slapped my hand  to move it and in general, she treated me like shit instead of a client.In conclusion, the service was deplorable, the experience was disgusting and I left the salon with a sour experience. If you end up going there which I highly suggest you do not. Stay away from the oriental Miami local, less than attractive, pudgy, rude -1 out of 10 on the attractive scale both inside and out spawn of satin. Read Less

I used to live 2 blocks away from Sunset Place and I was always looking for a nail place I could always go to. I didn't like Pinkies so much because they were so expensive and not very good. ISIS Wellness Nailbar is a bright and shiny new nail salon in South Miami.  3 stars for the quality of the gel manicure. 4 stars for the service. 5 stars for cleanliness.QUALITY *** My most important tip for you ladies interested in a gel manicure is to make sure that your mani tech adequately SHAKES the GelColor OPI in the black bottle or other brand of color coat.  This was my 4th gel manicure, but first time using OPI so I didn't know that the super light color of "Cozu-melted" was not supposed to be that translucent.  It was nice gel manicure but didn't show the true, beautiful color OPI intended.yelp.com/biz_photos/isis…Also, my manicure lasted 3 days before the polish on my thumbs were pretty much destroyed. The coats of paint started peeling/lifting off the sides of several other nails. I ended up having to call a whole bunch of nail salons in AZ frantically to see if they could redo my thumbs with the same OPI color before family photographs were taken. I had the AZ salon put only one coat of color on my thumbs since it looked so much darker than my ISIS manicure. The AZ tech was like, "Oooooh you better tell the Florida salon to shake the bottles better."  In the future, I would probably request that my base coat stays under the UV light a little bit longer than the tech says. I was confused by the two different UV lights I put my hands under. One light was built into the bar, which is pretty cool and streamlined. But the curing times were so short. There was another, portable UV light plugged in and was set on top of the bar. I'm still not sure what the difference is even after the tech tried to explain it to me.My ISIS nail tech who drove down to Miami from Orlando for their special grand opening week did a great job shaping my nails.  I was pretty happy with her paint technique as well.  I find that all techs never paint close enough to the nail bed for my taste with gel manicures but she did really good job getting close to the sides of my nails.SERVICE **** Although I sat around waiting longer than I'd like, they were swamped during their grand opening week. They gave me a small water bottle which kept me pacified for a while. The nail techs and employees actually smile and either enjoy or fake enjoy their jobs. I saw some really beautiful and interesting manicures going on next to me.  Another customer had red nails with a checkerboard overlay which looked really fun. On top of that she had her ring finger(nails) painted a gold color from OPI which looked amazing.  I haven't indulged in a pedicure yet, but it was cool how they have little stations/chairs curtained off from the rest of the salon for pedicures.Unfortunately, the receptionist at the end thought that I had the $35 gel manicure vs the $15 grand opening special gel manicure. I had to explain to her that I didn't get a massage and such, only lotion at the end.CLEANLINESS *****  They proudly display their autoclave machine in the salon and the tech took out my instruments from a sealed plastic thing like the suture kits you see at a hospital.The salon appears somewhat small and is Apple store-esque with the bright lights and white furnishings.  I'll have to visit some of the many nearby salons to make some comparisons for a future review comparison/update.SHAKE THE GEL COLOR COAT BOTTLE ADEQUATELY. CURE THE FIRST/BASE COAT A LITTLE LONGER. $15 +tip wasn't bad for a gel manicure, but it was a bit problematic. Paint peeled off my thumbs quick. Have their paper menu with prices on hand and circle with a pen which services you want to have done.  Make sure you show it to the receptionist and the nail tech, and show it again when you're paying at the end.
