HORRENDOUS. went in because it is close to UM. Nice salon. Bad color selection. I was immediately rushed to sit down. The tech was extremely rough pulling and pushing my hands. Worked extremely fast. She ended up cutting my cuticles so deep on two different fingers that they bled ALOT. she didn't even apologize she just put the chemical to stop the bleeding. In front of me she poured nail polish out from one bottle into anther and added acetone. Then pedicure was even worse. She was so rough, needless to say she hated her job. Again cut me to the point of bleeding. I bled so much while my nails where drying blood got on the polish...in turn ruining it. Overall just a horrible experience. I didn't get up and leave because I had already paid for parking. OH ANDDD they have signs on the outside stating the manicure/pedicure is 30 dollars. Only to find when I went to pay that it was 33. This place is terrible. I had a scheduled appointment and got there early. My lady I requested was with someone so I waited. I wasn't tended to until 30 MINUTES after my scheduled appt, which did not leave me time to do my pedicure. Then the lady decided to be inpatient since they were closing soon and didn't let my gel soak off. She decided it'd be a good idea to chip away at the gel WITH HER OWN NAIL. Not only did o not top her, but it was $32 for a bs gel manicure. Then, after a week I looked down at my toenails and saw I HAD FUNGUS. THEY DO NOT WASH THEIR TOOLS CORRECTLY! And aside from everything I experienced, all of the workers there are extremely rude and have absolutely no customer service skills. If I could put no stars and a review I would. The only nice people there are the 3-4 Hispanic women who are treated unfairly as well! Since its owned by a family they never give the other ladies customers so they can make some tip money for the day. PLEASE DONT EVER GO HERE THEY ARE RUDE, UNSANITARY AND DO NOT RESPECT THEIR CUSTOMERS AND SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT TIMES.Read Less

Spent several years at another location only to leave because of continued dissatisfaction. Tried the Garden City location and was delighted. Agatha and Raquel are the best. This is my favorite nail salon in Garden City!! I always get fast and top-notch service. They have a lot of clients but somehow always find a way to be accomodating, everything is kept clean, and I always feel like a new woman when I'm done! Its no surprise their customers are so loyal. I recently moved to the area from Brooklyn...and I love my manicurist...but traveling back was getting more and more difficult...I looked for some place new...and had one of the worst manicure and pedicure ...and I'm in the spa business.... at a neighborhood place....I looked on yelp and found dashing diva ..and went there immediately after !they couldn't take me on a Sunday evening...but I made an appointment first thing Monday morning...during a snow storm! I'm so glad I found Dashing Diva in Garden City. The pedicures and manicures are perfect. The owner and staff are uniformly friendly and courteous. I get the gel manicures and the choices of colors are the best I have found. Plus they serve you a delicious cup of tea while they work on your nails. All in all, an A+ experience. Read Less

They even went to the extent of painting my nails to match the color gel I selected that didn't match. Which was nice as they could of easily said I selected the color.
