If I could give zero stars I would. The first time I visited this salon a nice lady did my nails, she was nice and shaped my nails beautifully. My second visit a man did my nails. He rushed thru them and not only did they lift but the shape of my nails were horrible. I hoped to get the first lady for my third visit (trying to be understanding) but she had surgery .The second guy said he would do my nails, but I spoke up and said no. Suddenly, I got and attitude from who I assumed was the male owner, who later attempted to do my nails with a unprofessional demeanor .I'm sorry if I would like my nails done correctly . I have had my nails done for over 20 years and while I may not know how to do nails, I know what my nails should look like and the basic steps to do them .Unprofessional salon period! Read Less

I went there for the first time the other day, in hopes of getting my nails done by professionals. I showed the girl, Ruth, a picture that was done by Sandy. I told her when i sat down, i want my nails to look just like this, without the rhinestones. Mind you it was a simple hombre look. She put so little hombre color on my nails that you can see right through them. Second, she couldn't shape for her life, she was file happy, just kept filing, on one side more than... the other. I was there for over 4 1/2 hrs cause i kept having her fix it. I was told Ruth wasn't very experienced like some of the others, but I'm paying the same amount of money! After the 4 1/2 hrs i had to leave. They told me if i want them fixed, i can stay and wait till Ruth was done with her other clients, i told them i was there long enough and wanted to leave. I was looking to get my brows waxed and found this place just a few blocks from my house. It was Saturday and I anticipated it being crowded and it was. As I entered, I quickly scanned the reviews, and they were not all favorable. As I entered, I asked for a brow wax and was pretty quickly asked to head towards the back of the store. Every pedicure station was full, and I headed to the room for waxing. I anticipated having to wait, and too my surprise a woman came in to do my brows within a couple of minutes. She was very quick, friendly, and attentive. I have had my brows done many times, and sometimes it is not such a pleasant experience; wax too hot, excessive pain, etc. However, I was impressed with how good the tech was with my service. all i can say is quality, quality, quality. Myra is my fabulous nail tech, and she prides herself in her work, there is never an appointment that i leave and i am not left 100% satisfied. Her attention to detail and shaping is beyond this world. every refill no matter hoe detailed or how simple , I get tons and tons of compliments I refer all of my makeup clients, family and friends here. Myra's work speaks for itself. and Her sister Soraya for pedicure OMGGG!!i promise you y...ou'll never have a better pedicure in your life i only have to get it done every other time i do my nails that's how good of a job she does and that's how long it last for. Took my teenage daughter and her friend to get thier nails done for homecoming. The work was sloppy for my daughter and they couldn't even do a simple floral design she asked for so they did a messy swirl design instead. Her friend had to get her nails redone on the spot because they were horrible. They were super thick and the french tip were half way up her nails. Never going back! Read Less

The service was just okay. What really pissed me off was the girl doing my pedicure got mad when I asked her not to trim or file my toenails (I'm a licensed cosmetologist and did it already) and said something in her language to the girl next to her. The girl immediately looked at me, replied, then the one doing my toes looked at me. CLEARLY they were talking about me. The woman doing my husband's pedicure must have realized we were not happy and said something kind of stern to the two girls and they got quiet. It's one thing to talk about your customers after they leave, but don't do it while they are sitting in front of you. Will NOT return here, and will tell others not to go. I went there to get a manicure. The staff was very nice and courteous. During the service, I didn't see any sterilized equipments though. She pulled it out of a drawer. Initially I didn't think much. However , the lady ended up pulling too hard on one of my cuticles and it started to bleed. She tried to stop the bleeding and it resolved within a few minutes. I am in good health otherwise , so i didn't do anything about it and pretty much forgot about it. But over the new few days, that finger started to become warm and and the area became red. I don't think I have to go to the doctor or anything ( or at least I hope I don't) but It still happened.  I have had minor bleeding before with manicures/pedicures, but nothing like where it got somewhat infected like this.So please be careful going there. People are nice. But I'd just watch out of unsterile tools and hope and pray your skin doesn't get a cut. I thought it was standard procedure to have the tools sterilized and open packets in front of customers. ... I guess not. I definitely won't be going there again and advise everyone else the same. I LOVE Fiina Nail lounge! I go to Jayda for my pedicures and Schanelis for my nails. I walk about 4 miles a day working in NYC and my feet look and feel great thanks to Jayda. Schanelis is SO talented at nails it's amazing. My nails last so long I only have to go once a month. Her nail art skills are beautiful and she's so sweet. It appeared to be very clean. The employees really care about making your nails look exactly like you want them. I got my acrylics filled and the guy that did them was continuously asking if I liked what he was doing making sure it was what I wanted if he needed to fix anything! I really appreciate that. When it came time to put the gel on my nails he brought over another girl saying she did polish better. She took her time, and really made sure they looked nice. She even put a third coat on with no extra fuss. I've been to some other salons that will refuse to do a third coat. I'm definitely coming back! They always take care of me the moment I touch down in jersey ❤️ I always come from these crazy places where my husband gets stationed, from Georgia and now Texas. Been going to them since Jan and I have to say my nails haven't looked better. First time I went to them, Gaby did my nails and after that I've been with Mika who I think I'll be sticking with, she's the best, she is friendly and knows her thing. I was her last client on a Friday night and she made sure I was satisfied and happy with my nails before I walked out the door. She's neat, precise and has a good eye for details and design. They do not sterilize the instruments.  You can tell because they are already open, they still have the seal attached and the little arrow that says if it is it is sterile has not changed color.  The arrow is supposed to turn brown after sterilization, the packs they use the arrow is always blue with the tape for the seal still attached.  I have no idea how often they clean the jets in the pedicure machines but I got toenail fungus from them.  Will never go back and do not recommend anyone going there.
