I went for the first time, which was highly recommended by two friends. The place looks nice, but the work done felt a tad rushed and when the girl was checking if the nail was dry it left a little smudge. She saw it and didn't fix it. This is my local salon currently, so I am going to be doing my own nails from now on. It was very crowded and the massage chair they put me in sounded like it would blow up any second. I didn't have a huge problem with that, but I but I asked for regular polish and all they offered to me was gel, which they up charged me for accordingly. I was taken back by their rough sales tactics and inability to provide me with what I wanted, even when I asked multiple times. Lastly, I had a mediocre pedicure. Gel, against my wishes, which was apparently laced with unicorn tears because they charged my over 50 dollars for this pedicure. Not the color or polish type I requested. Good things about this place: people actually doing the work were decently nice and my full set has lasted over a week. But that primo gel polish they put on my toes and grossly overcharged me for chipped in less than a week. I will not be coming back. Read Less

Horrible Experience! I will NEVER go here again for anything. I went to just have my nails soaked off, nothing more nothing less. The 2 ladies that first took me were inspecting my nails as if they were foreign objects, then preceeded to talk to one another "in their language" about my nails. They moved me over to another desk and the guy started talking about me too, only with him, he was talking and making jokes about them so all his coworkers could look up at me and laugh. EMBARRASSING AND DISRESPECTFUL! Don't downplay someone else work to try and gain clients. Im actually a Nail Technician myself and I did this in purpose just to get an idea of how I WIll NOT run my salon, let alone allow this type of disrespect in my environment! Read Less

Well when I showed up they were very busy. I just needed a manicure. To my surprise I was seated quickly, and had two different people work on me to get the job done. I will be returning today for eyebrows and a pedicure, in response to the comment below, to the pregnant feet. FYI $25 is actually extremely cheap for a pedicure. You get what you pay for. Now If you paid $60-$100 for a true spa pedicure, I also would be pretty pissed if I did not recieve a massage and sugar scrubs etc. They arent offering a "Spa pedicure" on their menu. Went here today with a friend because she had a gift card. Neither of us will ever use this place again.  We did get to sit down quickly in a pedicure chair. But then we sat there for at least 20 minutes. The pedicure itself took less than 10 minutes. They constantly tried to upsell us. Even at the very end with nail art.  Cost was $15 for basic pedicure. That is a standard rate around here but I've never had a pedicure take less than 10 minutes.  Also, I have never had anyone pinch or pull my nails like this woman did.  Also, no base coat.  I will return to my regular place for the next pedicure- Busy Nails less than 5 minutes west of here on MLK. It's kind of clean, it's cramped and usually crowded, however a place that is always busy is not always a good indication of a great business. This was the place that I stuck with for a while after moving to the area on a recommendation from a local,  but after my last visit I am done here and will never go back again.They raised their prices by $10.00 three times consecutively for similar, the same, or even lesser services. I've paid $50.00 for tips with a special order, I've paid $45.00 for mani-pedi with design,  and $35.00 for a straight polish and fill in. Make up your mind. The sign on the wall means nothing more or less than the "and up" they use as a reference as an add on to get you.  They act the gel is magical.  Gel isn't anything special. They sell it in Walmart for $9.00 for Christ's sake. They shuffle you around between people and the girl I loved has unfortunately moved on. Amy was the best technician they had. When she was still there I was happy, not anymore. It's shady, the prices are gouged, it's become a revolving door type service that is sub-par. The last time I went, I asked for tips, I got nothing because they forgot and I got excuses and half hearted apologies apparently because she had already put the gel on my natural nail before double checking. I think she was just too lazy to do anything out of the ordinary. I speak a little Vietnamese, Thai, and Korean... If you get the feeling they're talking about you? They are.  (Thnói sau lng, nói xuai)  This time, unfortunately, I got Kate. It looked like a three year old painted my design. I did not get anything more than a polite argument and excuses when I asked for what I wanted. The design was TERRIBLE.  It was one of the most horrible designs, and the worst gel work I've seen so far and I've been getting my nails done for over 25 years now. It was lumpy, laid on way too thick, and I ended up paying through the nose for the extra polish. $66.00 for gel mani-pedi? What do they think they're in NYC charging that much?There is nothing I hate more than when a once good, decent business gets shotty, greedy, and lazy. It's a shame. I'll miss the girl who used to do my nails but without her, I'm not interested in anything left there. It's a horrible place. Wanted to try this place out since it had good reviews but I was surly disappointed. I'm a very passive person I don't give off any attitude but the customer service here was bad. The man doing my nails got kinda bothered when I told him I just wanted gel on my natural nails, he kept asking me "are you sure you don't want a full set" after I had already made up my mind about wanting them natural but yet he kept insisting. I waited an hour just so he could half ass my nails. Came out clumpy and ugly and he didn't even take his time. Nice place, a little cramped but they seem to be always busy even on a Sunday that was pouring outside so that means that they do a very good job.
