I am always pleased with their service. I get the deluxe spa pedicure and pink and white fills on my finger nails every time. They take their time and the massage during the pedicure is amazing. My daughter, Michelle, has been recently getting her mani/pedis at this nail spa in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea. Staying with her for the weekend, and while my grandson napped at home with Daddy, we snuck out to get pampered! Tuan (manager) warmly greeted us and we chose our spa chairs and nail color. The chairs look brand spanking new with an added touch: cup holders. They place an elastic sanitary cover over the water basins prior to running the water for your foot-dunk (I like to make a little bit of a splash--haha)! Michelle already has faves: Sarah and Diep; but being new, I was assigned to Vicky. It turned out to be a perfect match, as she is somewhat the young Asian version of me. Her attention to detail is flawless, she visibly has superb organization skills, utilizes best practices in cleanliness, and lots of TLC in massaging my hands, legs and feet. She also uses this fat looking pool noodle to hold your foot up. This alone makes such a difference for me!Vicky and I had good conversation and she made several recommendations before our time together was over. Ocean Nails is the best local nail and brow salon! Their manicures and pedicures are so thorough and well-done. They last forever. Everyone is super friendly too! Great place, always professional and clean! If you bring a design you would like they will attempt to duplicate ( so far they have always been able to do it) nice chairs. Best to call for an appointment but they will always fit you in. Read Less

I've been coming here now for the past (2) months while on "vacation". Always have Ann as my nail tech. She ALWAYS does an amazing job. This salon is always busy so I'd highly recommend making an appointment. The gentleman who runs it is always always very polite (sorry, don't know his name). I really want to give it (5) stars, but my only complaint is the noise level. All the employees are talking/yelling to one another in what ever language they're speaking (not Ann's native, so she doesn't participate, which is nice). I wanna relax when getting a pedi/mani. What an awful place!! I had to walk out which never happened to me before! I had one person started to work on me than he moved to another person. Then another guy started to work on me, he was so rude!! When I told him that he was hurting me, he just yelled at me ! No apology, nothing! and said that he didn't cut to bleeding! Did I have to wait for it? He stood up and said he won't work on me. Just because I point out that he was hurting me, politely!! He said that I have to wait for another person. He was extremely rude. This is kind of a mixed review - If you get the owner Natalie? She is a gem - She know how to do nails and eyebrows.The last 2 times I went Natalie was busy - I had another lady wax my eyebrows - The first time the wax was way too hot - not only that I ended up with a cut under my eyebrow and bad swelling  - came out of there and for 3 days I looked like I had one black eye!Fast forward to yesterday - I decided to see if Natalie was available, nope! But they quickly got someone else. I nearly had heart failure when I saw it was the same lady as before - I walked into the room and walked out with yet another cut and a gap in my eyebrows (when I pointed it out I was told I had thin skin and "it's ok" to the gap in my eyebrows!) It is my fault for going back after a bad experience....  I have NEVER been cut at another salon - twice in a row? I think this lady has never been trained formally............Even though I have photo's of both the bad eyebrow wax jobs I am not posting them... Yet! Read Less

First off, they are pretty clean which is the most important in a nail salon.Talking Vietnamese in moderation is ok and normal when doing nails. But they talk waaaay too much where it sorta makes you uncomfortable and you don't know if they are talking about you. And the lady that did me wasn't very good, she didn't clean up the skin around my nails that much and was kinda slow. But I can't judge a whole salon by one person, they may have an awesome tech there that I just didn't get. What really made me mad was they didn't charge me according to the price board. I have been using this Nail Salon for many years and through many different owners. I must say Twan and Natalie have changed and constantly improve their salon. I have been here  6 or 8 times (at least) for convenience and finally decided I had to find another place. The cleanliness is average. They all talk to each other in Vietnamese which I find rude. One lady cut my foot then tried to tell me it was my fault. Then she stepped on my brand new pedicure and we had to  start all over! They routinely cut my nails too short. I brought my 84 year old mom in and they were incredibly tough on her. Finally I found a clean, nice place where they speak English and don't charge any more than this place! Read Less

I went there last September to get both mani (gel) and pedicure (acrylic) done prior to my cruise trip. Natalie did a fantastic job! My nails looked gorgeous and lasted a long time. Both my mom and aunt (who had recommended this place to me since she lives nearby) loved it as well. Price is pretty much what you would pay anywhere else. Place is nice and clean. Had a great manicure from Natalie. The salon itself is average looking, several men technicians. The place  did not seem uber clean, but it was okay... Not dirty.Gel manicure colors were decent. My manicure was one of the worst ever but I got a great pedicure.  How?  Because it was done by two different people.  An older Asian man did my pedi and I'd go back to him any day.  A younger Asian woman did my mani and it would have come out better had I done it myself...  blindfolded with my left hand.  So I guess the moral of the review is...  Get it done by the older Asian man or don't get it done at all. I had promised to take my soon-to-be step-mother-in-law out for a pedicure over New Years as a late Christmas gift because we were all getting together for NYE in Ft. Lauderdale (them from MI, us from GA). I called one salon and got no answer so this was next on my list because it was close to where we were staying. I got us a reservation for two pedis a couple days in advance, for the morning of NYE. If the line they had is an indication of how they normally are, then I'd recommend calling to get an appointment so you don't have to sit around waiting.It's your typical nail salon -- lots of foot bath stations and little mani tables. Also typical of a salon like this? I now have a slight case of nail fungus on my big toe thanks to cross-contamination from nail files, foot scrubbers, clippers, etc. I am so grossed out by places that don't properly sanitize their equipment and this place seemed semi-clean enough (but clearly wasn't, just ask my big toe). BUT, I will say that the pedicure looked great and lasted a good 3 weeks before any signs of chipping appeared. Cost for 2 pedis with tip was $60, so good value, too. Just be careful of the equipment they use on you, otherwise you'll be fighting nail fungus afterward!! Read Less

Cute, small salon owned by husband and wife. If you want the best experience here, ask for the wife, Natalie! She does the best job!! Awesome pedicures, manicures,  and waxing! Flat screen tv, massage chairs, coffee, convenient location right next to a CVS, Publix, and Baskin Robbins!   They also now have $60/hr massages here on Wednesday and Thursday only!!
