Took my 79 year old grandma to get her first pedicure yesterday. We both got the Diamond Sparkle pedicure, and it is by far the best pedi I've ever had! The staff were very friendly, the space was adorable and CLEAN. I highly recommend everyone to try them. Went to get my nails off and they charge $15 which is so expensive !!!! It’s usually 5-10 and the worst part is he didn’t even get the acrylic nail off all the way... go spend your money else where. It’s not worth it. Now I had to go somewhere to get all of the acrylic off. Read Less

I'm giving this post 2 stars bc the nail tech was nice to my girlfriend, but did not perform that well on her manicure. He cut her 4 times when trimming her cuticles then poured some green liquid all over it....I feel like she should have at least got a discount on her service...he then proceeded to put a white paint design on 2 of her nails....which she did not ask for...she's now going to her bachelorette party with cut up nails. Me & my daughter Sophia have been coming to Huey at Sparkle Nails for several months now & he does excellent work! Whenever I have had a nail accidentally break, all I have to do is call Huey & the majority of the time he fits me in that same day if he is available. He & his staff are amazing & they are all about customer service & making sure that their clients are happy. Sparkle Nails is a beautiful salon with a very relaxing environment! My first time at the spa. It is absolutely darling inside. Nice new chairs with a beach theme. Very clean and friendly. I had a $35 pedicure which included a scrub, wax and Massage. I also decided to get my brows waxed and tinted. Very great experience and great price. I will be back! Read Less

I pick my nails and they were a mess!  I needed an appointment today and Sparkle was very accommodating.  I asked for a gel topcoat over the regular polish which I get at my salon up north but the owner would not permit the tech to do it.   Otherwise, I was satisfied.  Great location, 5 min from where I was staying. I was expecting so much more based on the reviews but was very disappointed. I've been getting gel manicures for years, but my lady moved so I had to find someone new. The girl I had didn't say 2 words to me the entire time, didn't even smile, and was extremely rough. She cut 2 of my fingers with the file and then filed down one of my nails so thin that I could see a pink flesh circle in the middle showing though the thinned nail and it is now incredibly painful to touch anything. She was in such a hurry to finish that her work was very sloppy. The polish is so thin in places that it looks sheer on spots of my nails and they started lifting off in less than 24 hours. I noticed the main guy seemed very nice and friendly and was saying hello to everyone, maybe if I had him it would have been a better experience? I won't be returning to find out. Read Less

It is rude, unprofessional and unacceptable.It is particularly bad when you bring a friend, make appointments for 2 people and they completely screw up by making one of you wait 45 extra minutes because of their poor planning, and in turn, you miss your dinner reservation. I even gave them ANOTHER chance after this, and they did it again. My mother made the mistake of going today and they did the same thing to her. Clearly, they have no clue how to schedule appointments and do not respect their customer's time. I have a very busy schedule and my time is valuable. I will not be returning to Sparkle Nails again. I booked an appointment for 2 pedicures and a manicure about a week in advance. Initially on the phone he told me he didn't have anything for Saturday at 1100 AM. So I said that's okay I'll call back in a bit because I wanted to check with my friend what other date/ time would work with her. He quickly said he could take us at 11:30 and it was set. We arrived 11:15 and it was busy! I picked my color and he let us take a seat. It wasn't until 12:00 that we finally got seated in the pedicure chairs. By the time my friend and I finished our pedicures it was 1:30ish and I didn't have time to get the manicure so we just left. It would have been much easier if the owner just told us that that time wouldn't be the best and we could have re scheduled something at a better time! Instead, I don't plan on going back again. I went in with my daughter on a day when there was no one else in the salon. Hana did my nails and toes. It was the most disappointing manicure and pedicure I have ever gotten. She didn't do much of anything, certainly didn't make my feet smooth and the gel she did on my toes was not done neatly or very well. Even the massage was 1/2 ass. They charged me more than I the average place does for my daughter to just get polish on her nails and toes and even that was done sloppily. Made appointment for the afternoon.  Very glad I chose this salon!Sorry, but I can't remember the name of the pedi I got. It was one step up from the regular. Phenomenal! Salt scrub and massage! Hot towel wrap on each leg. Hanna did an excellent job with everything. One week later and it still looks awesome-even with all the walking and beach time I've put in while here. EXTREMELY reasonably priced! Actually same price as what my salon at home (PA) charges for a basic pedi. Salon is very well decorated and all staff were friendly. I got a full set acrylics and a pedicure. My full set lifted and peeled off within 6 days, and pedicure chipped significantly too. They don't seem too experienced. Edit: went back at the recommendation of a friend. I wish I could give 0 stars. I got gel this time and it peeled within 5 days, and my pedicure chipped within 4 days, the guy cut my cuticles twice, and the two women who worked there were screaming at each other fighting. I just had a gel polish manicure by Tina. She took her time and did a great job. She also said if the nail chips or I have any problems within the next two weeks, they will fix it for free. I also like that they don't charge you to take the old gel polish off if you are getting a repolish. That's good customer service. Most places charge at least $5 to take off the old.The place is decorated really cute. It has that classic beachy theme. You don't see that too often in nail salons. I liked it.I will definitely be back for a repolish and try one of their pedicures that so many people have raved about. I will update my review after I get a pedicure there. Read Less

Great experience today with Kevin!! Probably one of the best ever pedicures that I've had! He did awesome job on my shellac nails too! I love that they offer matching polishes for shellac nails and regular toes!! Eyebrow wax by Hana was good too! My best friend had silk wrap French manicure and loved the work by Huey! I'm not sure I'll be around for a second visit this year but I'll be sure to come back next time I'm in Sarasota!! Very clean and sparkly spa like salon!! After much research on Yelp and facebook I found Sparkle Nails had great reviews. My experience was exceptional. Hanna did my mani and pedi and even repaired a nail that unfortunately broke while on vacation. The was very thorough and my pedi was very relaxing. I am from NJ where our salons do so many designs.
