I purchased a gift certificate for $60 for my partner for a pedicure/manicure of her choice. When she went to use the gift certificate 6 months after later , the establishment said the certificate expired 3 months after issuance. Florida law prohibits gift certificates from expiring within 5 years. They wererude and nasty to my partner. I went in yesterday allowing myself two hours for an S&S manicure and a pedicure. My SNS Nails would not dry and ended up smudging such that they had to remove final coat and start over. They only knocked $15 off for my inconvenience and making me late to get ready for my engagement. The color is not even and today the top coat is peeling off. I've never experienced anything like this in a salon. My daughter also got a manicure and the paint and the filing were uneven . I have been here a total of 2 times and that's all the chances I'm giving this place. The first time I got my nails done here I got a gel manicure and one of the signature pedicures ($45 pedicure). My pedicure was fine but my gel manicure only lasted a week (usually lasts 2 weeks at least). This place is conveniently in my neighborhood and next to the Publix I always shop, so I gave it another try. This time I got a gel manicure and a regular pedicure for a different employee. I just go engaged so I wanted to show my ring off and have nice nails. This manicure only last about 5 days before the paint started coming up and peeling off! I went back there the next day and politely showed them the condition of my nails and told them the time frame. I told the Lady that I think they did not soak my cuticles long enough and it was making the polish come up. She said the paint was free but if I wanted another manicure it would be $15, (gel manicure is $25) I didn't want to argue I just wanted my nails redone so I just ate the cost but I will never be back here again. I am visiting Sarasota for a few hours and needed to kill some time so I decided to stop by for a pedicure. I went on a Wednesday around 2pm and the place was completely empty so I was super happy I didn't have to wait. The salon is very clean and simple. I got the Express pedicure for $25. I kind of felt like the entire process was rushed as if there were people waiting after me, but I guess it's because I got the Express pedicure. The technician who did my pedicure was very neat and she painted my toes perfectly and she shaped them very nice as well. If I am in the area again, I would return. Read Less

First & last time I'll come here. I should've gone where I usually go but I was invited by a friend. They couldn't fulfill a simple request & kept insisting I "pick a color" after I stated I didn't want color. Twice a lady came in & they told her 5 minutes to wait each time she had come. She got agitated because she could see that it would be much longer than 5 minutes. Maybe a manager or more experienced staff would help a little. I was visiting from out of town and got the express mani pedi ($35) on New Year's Eve. It has been a week and while my nails haven't chipped, I wanted to post a photo of what it looks like now. My favorite  is Anna.  Lotus is next to publics on 41. Convenient  and though busy, the manager always makes  room for  walk-ins.Gel or shellac  polish is often  to thick,  or uneven in other salons.  Mani / pedi s  are consistently  professional.  And Anna is a perfectionist! Read Less

I was pleasantly surprised when this nail salon took over Sunny's (which I went to for years since I lived at the Broadway Promenade). Sunny's was not a good salon...and neither is this one. I like the atmosphere better, but the prices and the quality is far below par. I spent $75 for a shellac mani/pedi and the tips began to chip after just a few days. After the first week 4 had chipped just as normal polish would and I went back. I showed them the nails and sat down to have the same color re-applied. When I went to check out (I assumed there would not be a charge since the whole purpose of paying more for shellac is the luxury of not having it chip) and sure enough! FULL PRICE!!! I again told the lady at the counter what had happened and she said, honest to god, "must of been a poor product" so I told her, well, it was your product that I had put on here less that a week ago, she still proceeded to take my payment and said she was sorry. As what I assume to be the manager walked up, I repeated the story (and to her this was a second time - she had verified the chipped nails when I walked in) she still did not offer me even a discount. I told her I would not be back and I will not. No wonder the place was empty - ZERO customer service and to someone who had had her nails done every 2 weeks for the last 10 years and lives next door?? Not smart, Lotus. Read Less
