Love this place! Every time I come to Sarasota, Mom and I come here! They really spend time on massaging and the people here really are nice. Messed up on the shape and tried to charge me extra. Cut my finger with the file from filing so hard. Be very clear about what you want and ask if things are extra because they tried to charge me $7 extra dollars for getting matte top coat, and a shape of nails I didn't ask for. Conveniently I noticed the minimum they can charge cards is $7. Had to go home and actually cut and file my acrylics myself because the lady gave me coffin shape instead of almond and didn't fix it for me. When I explained I didn't get what I wanted she tried to charge me extra for the coffin shape that I didn't ask for in the first place. Wow!! Really??? I got my nails done for a wedding., what a mess. Didn't even trim the cuticles, the tips are crooked and not even covered properly with the acrylic. The best thing about this salon is that they use a new file for every customer and use throw away liners for the pedicure tub!!! Talk about sanitation ... I was greeted right away and worked on right away- but then again I was the only customer. The tech did not talk much but was courteous and did what he was supposed to do. The cons... He did cut my toenails too short but it wasn't a big deal for me.The massage was fantastic and I wish I could've had it done more often.Tech warmed up and talked more toward the end. Not bad at all! My friend and I went there today as a return customer because we remembered our first experience there was good, but today was different. We just wanted a regular manicure, not  a deluxe and that set the tone for our experience.  The young man seem especially irritated and then when I ask him not to use the solution to remove rough areas on my heels ( it seems to make my heels worse) he was angry and he jerked my feet around and said, "be still." I am only giving this place 2 stars because the technician I had did a great job. Other than that I would never go here again. I am all about customer service and the way employees treat their customers. The gentleman that greet us tried to find the regular nail polish color to match my shellac and when he showed it to me and it was too dark he tried to say I picked a darker color. I get the same color almost every time the last two years so I know what it looks like without even seeing the sample. While I was in there a customer came in to complain about a fungus she had, and while she was a bit frustrated, he coped an attitude right back to her. Then there was this young girl in a high school sweatshirt, running around the salon and also coping an attitude at the other employees and not being helpful. Very unprofessional. My manicure and pedicure was great the woman who did them did a great job, but it doesn't do anything for the salon when everyone else is rude! Read Less
