While the facilities and people seem to be top notch, I was not overly impressed with the facial. My wife paid extra in order to get me a facial from one of their "masters". The medical expert Michelle has a refined approach to Botox that left me looking refreshed not overdone. Dermaplaning experts Johanna and Donna are unbelievable. Got my eyebrow permanent makeup done by Joanna. So pleased and happy with the wonderful job she did. My eyebrows look absolutely amazing and it was pain-free. Following their advise, my fiancée was extremely satisfied, very happy with the level of service, and affordable options. I came to L.Spa for a relaxing day treatment. It was phenomenal experience from the minute I walked in the door. The front desk was very welcoming. The entire staff was professional. My nail tech Christian did an outstanding job on my mani-pedi. My facial and massage were top notch!! The facility was clean. I love this spa! I have had only wonderful experiences here. Everyone is always so nice and professional. Just walking in the door makes you feel good! I have been coming to L Spa for years to get facials and my eyebrows done. Not only is it super clean and fresh looking, their staff is amazing as well. Front desk is A+. Their estheticians have completely cleared my acne and give great treatment recommendations. I have since moved out of state and have been having some skin problems (still testing and trying new places here). My mom still goes to L Spa and was telling Joanna about my issue. She pulled up my old charts and gave my mom recommendations and products to send me. These ladies really care about their clients and are complete professionals. I love girly stuff like facials and manicures and I have tried out a lot of places. L Spa always pulls through.On another note...if I could give less stars I would for their boutique alone. The selection and pricing is fine but I HATE the sales ladies who are like vultures. I have worked in retail before and understand that commission is important but these ladies will simply not leave you alone even after it is obvious that you are annoyed. The first time I came in I was relentlessly followed around the store by one associate, I became so turned off that I had to leave. Had a shellac manicure by Christian. He is very inexperienced for a nice spa like L Spa. I pointed out how the polish was pulling back and missed spots before I left and he gave excuses. This was my second manicure at L Spa and I won't go back because of my experience with him.When I went to pay, L spa did not charge me for the shellac manicure. I have been here many times for many services and had always been satisfied, which is why I am giving it three starts and not one.  The last service I received was the worst facial you could imagine.  She barely did anything and even skipped the massage and the end and instead offered "oxygen" therapy - what a joke that is! She sprayed my face with oxygen from and oxygen tank.  That was my last trip to L Spa.  I have spent plenty of money there but will go elsewhere where I can get someone who will give a real facial. I've been coming here for about 5 years, minus the 2 I lived in Los Angeles... But I made appointments when I can home on vacation, that's how much I missed this place. The ladies at the front are so helpful, friendly, and kind... ! And stylish of course :) Karen is my mani-pedi Go To... She's amazing and I like offer of bubbly or wine when I walk in. The staff is all friendly no matter where you wander.. I'll be seeing Donna for a facial soon and hopefully Kim down the road. I could visit once a week and never be disappointed. L Spa is the best in the "Spa Experience". The staff is customer service oriented and helpful. Specifically, I would like to highlight the talents of Donna Messenger. If you are looking for an expert in the industry- look no further. Her talents have been featured in Harper's Bazaar among many other magazines. I wouldn't trust my face with any other individual- especially since I have very sensitive skin. I cannot express enough how talented she truly is. I Love L Spa. The front desk staff are always so helpful and nice.  You definitely get what you pay for here. I get my mani/pedis, my brows and facials all the time and try to sneak in a massage about once a month. The staff are always professional, no matter who I see. The rooms are always clean. The skin care and medical (Botox and Fillers) was voted #1. Oh and my favorite part, FREE glass of wine LOL. This is my favorite spa in Sarasota, and I won't go anywhere else.
