This place is absolutely amazing! I would like to start of saying that this is the best place to do your nails for a decent price. My manicure and a pedicure was done with such care, that I would go back every single day, if only I still lived in Sarasota. I loved the attention to details that every single team member put. I was very busy, so without me even asking, I had two people working with me at the same time. Amazing customer service!!! I also noticed some techniques that my specialist used that I have never seen before! The salon is located at the quiet part of the mall, so I did not experience curious people looking at through the windows. Such a small detail, but defenately made me feel more comfortable. They did a great job but when we asked how much it was she told us one price at first and then when all done she changed the price to hire ...also the lady seemed like she didn't want to do what we asked her to do on our nails and says she wants us to come back but I think I'll go back to the guy who is amazing and is more reasonable. By far the worst pedi I've had! Whatever you do, no matter how desperate you are for a pedicure, don't get it done with the men. My niece could have done a better job at painting my nails. The young guy who did mine said he had been working there two years, but clearly needs tons more of experience. Don't waste your money for a sh$$ty job. First and last time there!!!! Came in with Mom at 8:25 pm for pedicures, and they stayed until we were completely satisfied. No rush, added extra services, and left at 10 pm. It was very relaxing, and they were super nice. I've seen other customers in the reviews complain about coming in late, but there was a lady that came in around 8:45pm for her pedicure, and she was cared for right next to us. Love this place! Kept very clean and very professional! The employees are very nice and helpful! They always do a fantastic job with my nail. I've done SNS, regular manicure, pedicure and acrylics. Pricing is reasonable, you get what you pay for. They are very meticulous while doing your nails. I have to write review for this one. Finally found a quality nail salon. The service is exceptional. My pedicure tech spent good amount of time do my toes and they were perfect. I highly don't recommend this place. If you want to receive a mediocre service and pay people to be rude to you, then go to Diva Nails.I've been a regular client of Diva Nails (and David) for almost 2 years! This place used to be nice, professional and clean, but since the management passed to the new owner (Tiffany) everything it's slowly falling apart. Besides the cleanliness the real issue is the lack of professionalism and rude personnel. I've often witnesses situation of clients complaining about the staff clearly talking about them in their native language, and I've always had the feeling that they were doing the same with me because they don't even have the decency to not even look at you when they're doing it, but I never cared too much as long as my nails were done well. I've stopped making reservations because when I was getting there it was like I never called, and I've seen the staff dropping reservations to take walks-in clients that requested more services to make more money. Regular clients are mistreated here. Today I just give up. Even though I had an appointment, David was rough with my nails and in the way he was "twisting" my hands, hurting me several times (he's being doing my nails for 2 years and knows that I have sensitive cuticles) and being rude about it. No apologies. I just think that at this point it's not worth it! I would recommend Mai Beauty Salon in Stickney Point Rd (the plaza with Carrabba's and Earth Origins).They are always clean, professional and very friendly with drinks, etc. I've stopped going there just because of my difficult working schedule, but I rather make that extra effort than going back to Diva Nails. I called and they said they could fit me in if I arrived before 8:30pm as they close at 9pm. I walked in at 8:22 asking for a basic mani/pedi. They immediately looked displeased and after about 3 mins one guy said he would do it. The pedicure took about 25 mins total. He scrubbed each foot for 30seconds. When I asked him to cut down my toe nails he rolled his eyes and walked to the back to get the necessary equipment. He returned and rushed through the rest of it. No foot massage was done. He rubber lotion on my legs while my feet were still in the water. He proceeded to wrap one small towel around both legs to expedite the process. As this point it was clear he didn't give a damn about customer service so I said don't even worry about the mani. He says good we really only had time to do one or the other. When did nail salons (especially inside of malls) just turn away business? At the end he says we can wait another 15 mins of you want to say for it to dry. I said no that's okay you clearly want to go. I then had to ask for the little slippers to walk to my car. I'm very in satisfied with this experience, probably the most careless pedicure I've had. I definitely will not be returning and I will be calling management for a refund tomorrow. $26 wasted. Read Less

If I could give zero stars I would. I can admit I'm extremely particular about my nails, but this place is awful. I went for a simple polish change. I'm so picky i figure that's always a good test. It took over 30 mins!! Clearly this young man had no idea what he was doing. I had to remind him to buff my nails!! I had to keep telling him what to fix. I mean they look like a toddler did them. I pay for professionalism and to save me time and this was neither. When I told the lady I was checking out with that I was not happy. She made no attempt to reconcile. She just took my money. Worst shellac manicure ever! I've had one from here before and it was good, but today I had a male nail tech and he did a terrible job. He missed a whole side of my nail, tried to fix it by filing my nail, and then ended up putting more polish. He also filed all my nails so short they look like I bite them. Not happy!! Read Less

My friend and I went to diva nails today and the service was terrible. We will never go back. There was one lady in there with her daughter and the pressure to upsell a different service made her so nervous . It was ridiculous.so The tech that did my ped was so bad, she didn't put lotion on my legs or use a pumice stone. They were mad at me because my friend didn't want to deluxe pedicure. Read Less

Probably the only nail salon I've ever been to where the employees make you feel very welcome. The male that welcomed us thanked us for choosing them before we even started. They were all nice and fun to talk with. Had a movie playing and offered drinks. Very impressed by this place and definitely want to go back when I'm in Sarasota again! Read Less

I thought this place was actually okay-- The pedicure could have been better, I left with nail polish all over my feet, and my feet could have been scrubbed with the pumice stone more.I didn't get offered any wine or water, but my colleague was given sangria. I absolutely hate pedicures, but a week of work left me desperately needing one-- like I said, it was okay, I was mostly happy it wasn't traumatic (i once had a lady clip down the side of my toenail, i really thought I was going to get an ingrown). I wish I could say the same for my colleague. She was getting a new set of acrylics... She was missing 4/10. They decided to put an entire new set on... which  meant removing the old ones. Rather than using the cotton ball/acetone/foil method while she was getting her pedicure.... the man actually ripped them off her nails. She ended up with 2 torn nails in the middle of the nail, onto the nail bed, with blood. HORRIFYING. They then used alcohol to sterilize and dry the nail out before putting the acrylics on, which obviously caused her a lot of pain. Totally not cool-- That could cause some serious long-term damage. I Would NEVER go back there-- Any professional nail salon should know that just ripping an acrylic off of the natural nail could not only cause serious damage to the nail bed, but causes some SERIOUS PAIN to the customer. Will be coming back for more pedicures and soon a manicure! The place was clean and spacious! I walked in and was soon sitting on a spa chair dipping my feet in the water while drinking a mimosa (complimentary of course)! The woman who did my pedicure took her time and made sure I was relaxed. The wonderful receptionist made me feel right at home and so relaxed. My pedi lasted me about an hour or so (I had time to kill so I wasn't in a hurry) and was only $25. Can't wait for next time!! Read Less

Skip this joint.  Nails did not last- shellac chipped right away- the next day. Guy did a horrible job.   Lasted three days and every nail chipped.  Asked for CND brand and AFTER starting manicure he tells me he doesn't have the color I requested.  I said give me CND- another color -and he says that this other brand will last 2 weeks and be easy to remove.  I am typing this review with one hand because I've been sitting here for 1/2 an hour and the darn gellish won't unstick from my nails- even with pure acetone.  If you want a cheap horrible nail job that ruins your nails, come here. I stumbled upon Diva nails in pure crisis mode. I had so much to do for my wedding I completely forgot to get my nails done. Walked in the day of my wedding and they went ABOVE and BEYOND meeting my needs. I'm a very picky person when it comes to my feet being touched, how my nails look,  I will tell you if I don't like it, and I didn't feel the need to do it. I've been going back every 2-3 weeks since March. Diva Nails is clean, the employees are friendly (Linn and Vie are AMAZING), and the end results are unmatched. I would know, I've tried places that are closer to where I live (I live in Bradenton) and no place that does Shellac comes close to lasting as long as it does when Linn it for me at Diva. They can get busy but they allow you to set appointments, and will call to remind you. Read Less
