Just walked in without any prior knowledge or history of the quality of service or professionalism of Best Nails! and as a very hard to please customer, I must say I most definitely will return to have John perform his magic on my feet. John was very clean, professional and paid close attention to detail. The pedicure was way beyond my expectations and the leg/foot massage therapy was incredible. "Sophie" shorted me $20 and no one did anything about it. She kept making comments about how customers in Sarasota were rude and rich which I thought was strange, and the customers in Orlando where she used to work were chill. I live in LA and I only go there when I am visiting my family. My mom was going there weekly, but now she said she will not go there anymore since this happened. Not cool, best nails! Read Less

The owners are very friendly and they speak English well. They do take precautions through sanitary safety. The craftsmanship of the nail techs vary from person to person the owner is incredible. Went there today because my normal tech is on vacation and the store is closed. I have to say that it was the worst nail experience ever. When I walked in a guy I assume is manager told me 1/2 hour. I didn't have a appointment so I was ok with that. He did ask whT I needed and didn't give me the opportunity to tell him. So I waited 40 minutes and he got a tech and said you want pedicure right and I replied..You didn't ask what I needed..I need a fill and pedicure. I thou...ght he was going to come unglued. While this was going on another customer went to have her pedicure..my pedicure lasted less then 10 minutes. The other customer was still soaking and I was done. I proceeded to get the "manager" to do my fill. No conversation didn't ask how I wanted my nails done. After he was done ( 10 minutes maybe) as I was drying I noticed that my nails were covered in bubbles and polish all over the edges of my fingers. To make matters worse they filed so uneven. I will never return there and I cannot recommend this shop to anyone. There are to many to chose from for this terrible customer service. I also think I was charged more then should have been. There is no posting of rates but overheard the charge for another customer having the same exact is me and charged 10 more. Another problem is that he didn't put enough acrylic on my nails which in turn made them sharp as a razor. Worst experience ever!!! Do yourself a favor and don't give them your hard earned money. Go somewhere else...oh..a young girl came in and asked for a full set and he said that they didn't have time to do it today and 10 minutes later 2 girls came in and asked for full sets and pedicures and he told them 15 minute wait. Used to be my favorite place in the area, I would go for a pedicure every couple weeks. However the past few times have no longer been enjoyable. The service was rushed and the waits were long. The prices have also increased and they no longer allow you to add a tip with a credit card payment! I don't always carry cash on me so the last time I went they refused to allow a tip. I had no idea of this new policy, it was so awkward. I am now in search of a new nail place. Read Less

I was in on a Wednesday, had a fill on a full set and by Sunday they were falling off and breaking. I've been having my nails done for years, the guy seemed more interested in a girl who brought a dog in the salon than he was with making sure my nails were done correctly. The Polish on them looked like a 5 year old polished them. So unhappy, had to soak my own nails off. After spending 78 dollars, I would have hoped for a better experience. Read Less

Fast and efficient. My nails look good although the acrylic doesn't seem to be sealed 100% on some of the sides. The shape and length are exact what I asked for. I had an acrylic fill. The fee schedule also said the fill was $19. I was charged $22 with nothing else offered or requested. I didn't tip because it seemed like they added it in themselves. I don't know if they guy who did my nails spoke English. If he did I never heard him. He didn't speak to me and when I told him what I wanted he just nodded. I personally know Cindi (Heron's Run Apartment Manager) who does business with this nail technician who lives in the housing development. I have been a customer at Best Nails for over 12 years. First at the Bee Ridge and Cattleman Location and now here on Fruitville. Cindy and Theresa always take the best care of me! The standard pedicure is great, but I treat myself once in awhile to the really wonderful "Natural Pedicure". It costs a little more but is worth every penny! Loving this place!  At first I was concerned as there were so many chairs,  I was concerned they would rush me out especially as it was a Saturday morning before Easter.  Not the case.  I had a deluxe pedicure: $35 and a polish change. Anna took her time to do an amazing job. They do the hot towel wraps on your legs which to me is pure heaven and the sign of a truly deluxe experience.  One of the best pedicures I've ever had in Sarasota / Bradenton and I've lived here full time for 10 years so I've had many many pedicures.  Be sure to ask for Anna and get the deluxe as its only $7 more than the regular. I've been looking for a good nail tech for pink & white acrylics and have been to several well received salons in the area with a mediocre outcome. I happened to walk in to Best Nails on Fruitville Rd as I was out that way shopping at Target.  Helen, one of the salon techs greeted me at the door and was vey helpful with answering all questions.  She was vey confident and available to proceed with my pink&white fill. Absolutely love my nails and I am particular!! Yes, this guy goes for his pedicure's. And while on the FLa Eastcoast, i go to BEST NAILS on Fruitville. Find TAGRET and park your car. It's right next door. Sundays (BIG +) seems busier then weekdays. Different people work on you and offcourse most people have their favorite but if you're like me and you don't give two hoots about who's giving you 'new feet', you just walk in.
