I was in town for business trip and needed to kill some time after shopping. Googled a nail salon close by and Nail art and spa popped up. Now I understand all the 5 star reviews! I wish I could do more than 5 stars. I was so impressed with the quality job Vina did for my nails. She is extremely professional and devoted to her work. I got chrome done which I realized is quite a process and not only did she take the same care every minute even though the session was long, she accommodated my requests and make sure I was happy with everything. I heard chrome is hard to keep nice but even with my hands on job and doing 1-2 workouts per day at the gym using equipment (both things which in the past have made me think I just can't get manicures because they'll look awful in a couple days) my nails still look amazing. Nail art & spa is amazing. Hands down. I walked in for a simple polish change but was intrigued by the ambiance, massive polish color collection, extremely welcoming staff, and reasonably priced services, so, I got a manicure by Vina. She was absolutely phenomenal- very precise, took her time, (regardless of the salon being busy) and gave an amazing massage. After having such a great experience I asked if she had time to give me a pedicure. She did not personally but Van, the owner, was more than happy to accommodate me and offered to do my pedicure. They always do a good job but the last two times I went I was severely overcharged... 40$ for a gel manicure... thought it was a mistake nope the next time I went the lady said it was 25 then when I added a 5$ tip she gave me a receipt for 40$... of course after already charging my card. I went in tonight with an idea in mind, but had no idea exactly how I wanted my nails done. I like to keep my nails short, but I love acrylic as it makes my nails stronger. Ivy was able to go through a few options with me to help me determine what is perfect for my style and my nails. She did an absolutely amazing job and I will definitely be going back! I came to this salon a week ago and my experience was less than expected however the owner himself reached out to me and offered to rectify the situation. I must say I am very impressed with that kind of customer service you don’t see that very often. I came back today and it was the best experience ever!! Best pedicure I’ve ever had by Jackie he’s great!! And Bebe did my nails and I must say they look amazing!! I have gone a few times and always had a great experience. This last time unfortunately I wasn’t too happy with the result. My best friend will only see Van. She said call him and he will fix it! I called explained how I felt about them and he worked me right in. They are beautiful now and he was so accommodating. He even explained to the girl that did them what was wrong with them (from what I could tell ) I can tell he really cares about his client walking out satisfied! He wouldn’t even let me just tip him! My first time ever coming to this salon was today 10/10/17. I went in with my sister both of us went to a salon on 66th street and 46th avenue by cici's pizza and they completely messed up our nails. When we walked into nail art & spa the quicky got us seated both my sister and I showed them a picture off the internet of what we wanted done. Nail art & spa did exactly what we wanted our nails looked exactly like the pictures we showed them. The prices were reasonable the plac...e was super clean and the staff all were super amazing we certenly will be back again in 2 weeks! They now have themselves 2 new clients! I will recommend them to anyone. The only place I will get my nails done!! A little pricier than other nail shops but totally worth it and you get it 10x back in service! I LOVE this nail studio! I go here for literally everything from pedicures, manicures, acrylics, waxing, gel polish, and SNS.The staff here is awesome and very attentive. They always offer a beverage or a mimosa (for those who are 21). Jane is super creative at nail art and design! She did a cool design for my up coming Spartan race and the gel polish lasted up to two weeks even after the muddy race I did! So awesome! They're okay.... last time I was there I asked the girl to redo my big toes like three times because since she kept rushing the coats didn't have enough time to dry so the paint job was uneven and you could tell where it was thicker coated... I gave up and just let it go. Hoping it's better the next time I go in. I felt like the girls were annoyed that I asked her to redo it so many times, but if I'm paying for it I want it to look good, not like I painted them myself....
