I would give 0 stars if possible. I went for a fill and underarm wax and was charged $48 before the wax and polish. The wax was so bad that my skin is red and still burns 6 hours later, even after applying aloe and lotion. My paint is warped and bubbled. I wanted one nail repaired and instead of taking off the broken part Alex simply added a tip and put acrylic over the whole thing, making that nail super thick. I stated that I was unhappy with the job and that my skin was burning and requested a refund. I was denied the refund and offered a $5 gift card. Why would I want to go back somewhere that did such a poor job?? I am warning everyone against Alex and that this salon will not take care of you if you have a problem. Read Less

I chose to get the ultimate pedicure. Sadly when I saw the nail tech come back with the plate of scrub and lotion, I was extremely disappointed. For a $50 ultimate pedicure, it look like it was worth $25. On top of the “ultimate pedicure” I got gel on top. The polish was also a disappointment! Polish was on my cuticles, some part of my nail wasn’t even painted. My friend got her toes done also, and her polish looked like she has bubble gum toes. Biggest mistake going to Garden Bay. I've been here now 10 times. I know this because today's visit was discounted because they stamp their card every time I'm there. Always greeted with a bright, genuine smile from the very nice lady that owns/mangers it. The tech are the same. All professionals in their craft. Professional appearance, good attitudes, service oriented and seem happy doing their job. They always do a wonderful job with an even better service experience. Nails are beautiful. I went here to get my full set put on and 5 of the nails came off ! So easily too? And I don't do anything like crazy strenuous with my hands so I just don't get it . I have them one more chance with a fill and two days later my nail cracked in the middle ??ive been getting my nails done for years and never once have I had nails just break and literally come off so easily . They are nice staff and they make them appear nice but obviously something is odd . Bad glue ?idk . They also charged me almost 30 bucks for just a fill! And they replaced two nails but still ??? Beautiful spa/salon; everything is new and the place is HUGE. The entire place is kept very clean. Their massage chairs for pedicures are the most comfortable I've ever used. We have used Alex, Vivian, and Steven at various times and all three do perfect pedicures and are extremely pleasant and very professional. While we have only tried the pedicures, I'm definitely going to try their other services when time permits. Read Less

This nail salon is super luxurious and the atmosphere is great. We went in and had acrylic nails done and brought our toddler, and they were so nice and doting and helped us calm her when she cried. (we learned our lesson and won't bring her again though, I hated disturbing the other customers.) The girls were super patient and  let us take small breaks to attend to our babe, which was really awesome  the nails are so far so good, they are sore for a couple of days after they go on but I know that's natural. All in all it took us about 90min to get them done and the girls who did them were very efficient and really nice. I'll probably update this in a week or so to update on the status of my nails but a full set of acrylics in clear with a cute ombre fade in a pointed goth style ran me 38$ and that's pretty good. They offered me water and were really hospitable. I didn't get a chance to take advantage of the bar or any other amenities but I will be going back for a pedicure at some point. My only real kind of negative is that it is hot as heck in there. I pointed her little drying fan at my face for a while and that helped. Read Less

I got my nails done here a bit ago. It is a huge location with tons of chairs. I thought my gel turned out good but it did chip within a week and usually when I get gel manicures they last almost two weeks. However I would come back here to try a pedicure since they had a,out of massage chairs. They had great color selection as well. Prices were fair. Read Less

I came here with a friend shortly after they first opened. The shop is beautiful there's no denying that. Everything is brand new so the equipment is very nice and things are very clean. The massage chairs for pedicures are top of the line with included seat warmers and tushy massage options. The concern I had was my manicure. I opted to get a SNS Powder manicure and I don't believe my manicurist was trained well with SNS Powders. Beautiful color, but the manicure came out very lumpy and uneven. After each lumpy nail was finished and set, she would notice it, file the lumps down, and have to re-do the nail all over again. After sitting there for two hours JUST for the manicure, my hands were raw from her continuous filing. She finally gave up and I was thrilled to leave, but the manager up front viewed my nails and told her to go back and redo them. I stayed an additional HOUR for more filing and the manicure still looked horrible. I would go back for a pedicure but that's about it. Read Less

I had the most relaxing evening last night at Garden Bay. Vi did my nails and brows this time! She did an excellent job. She is super friendly, and not to mention, a perfectionist. I loved the fact that she took the time to treat me well! The atmosphere at this salon is far better than any other salon I've EVER utilized! This place is by far the nicest nail spa I have ever been to. The service I received was top notch. I walked in after seeing that this place had 5* reviews. No other nail spa nearby comes close to that. We did the Callus Eliminator Treatment Pedicure for $30. Walk-In welcome. Attention to detail, clean and friendly. Took about 45 minutes. First time coming here and I came here with my boyfriend on my birthday for pedicures and during conversation with one of the technicians we learned that they have only been open 4 months. But seriously clean facility and tools. Wonderful place. My boyfriend told the technician that we would be back and we will specifically ask for her as she was sweet, talkative, and funny! Today I got a gel mani and pedi with two of my girlfriends! It was an amazing experience- the vibe is open, clean, and relaxing. The massage chairs are ridiculous- they even heat up while they massage you. Our pedicures and manicures came out looking divine. For a very reasonable price. I am very happy with their nail service.That being said, they also offer eyelash extensions. Look, I admit, I'm the idiot. They charge $40 for the service, which is absurdly cheap, and let me tell you: you get what you pay for. I went in a few days before my appointment to ask questions- I wanted to know what the eyelashes were made of, and is the glue safe- basically I wanted to know why they were only charging $40, and not $100+ which is normal for the service. They couldn't tell me what anything was made of, but they told me that the eyelashes are attached three at a time instead of singularly- and that was the reason for the price difference. I didn't really understand why that made such a difference, and I was still wondering why it was so cheap, but it just so happened that the eyelash technician whom I was speaking to was giving a manicure to a woman who had really sweet things to say about the technician's skills with nails, and that she would "trust her with anything." I decided to take her word for it. After all, it's only $40!First of all, the black glue she was using kept getting everywhere! She told me not to close my eyes so I didn't, but then the glue stuck to my brow bone above my eye, and some got stuck into the corner of my eye, and then on my NOSE - it was everywhere, and she kept having to scrub the spots with Q-tips until I felt like I was being scrubbed raw. Why is it so messy??When she was finished, I looked in the mirror.The effect looked like dime store strip lashes attached to my eyelid with messy black eyeliner. It looked HORRIBLE. I was stunned. I had no idea what to say. I wear fake strip eyelashes all the time, and this looked ten times worse, and was 40 times more expensive. I almost cried. She asked me if I liked them and I was honest. I told her no. She explained that this was the method for attaching them in bunches, and that's why it's so quick and so cheap.Honestly, they SHOULD NOT OFFER THIS SERVICE. This is not even CLOSE to a professional eyelash extension service.  They are amazing nail technicians and I'm sure some of their other services are nice as well, but this was not worth any amount of money. I would post a photo of what it looked like, but before I knew it I was pulling them off in my car. They came off easily, no pain, no ripped eyelashes, they just peeled off in my hand. And you can see, if you look at the photo, that these are NOT bunches of "three eyelashes", they are clumps of FIVE and NINE, which is just not what was even described to me at all.I really wanted to give a five star review because I enjoyed getting my nails done so much. But this has to be said, because I wish someone had told me. DO NOT get cheap eyelash extensions here. I have most definitely learned from my mistake. Read Less

My manicurist, In, was great I am very picky about my nail shape and I have sensitive skin and she listened to everything I wanted and my nails have never come out better. I tried Garden Bay because I am new to the area (moved in September) and have been going to another nail salon in the area that has gone down-hill over the last few months. Garden Bay was attractive to me because it already had great reviews and the salon looked great in pictures. The salon and employees did not disappoint! The customer service was great – they greeted me professionally when I walked in and my nail tech (Jessie) was very polite, thorough, and did a great job with my mani (shellac) and pedi. I will definitely be back! I did have one problem with some of the shellac peeling on one finger a few days later, but I went back and they took care of it right away. I could tell they were disappointed I had to come back, but they didn’t make me feel awkward about it – which many salons can and will do.
