I was looking for a place to get my nails filled and a pedicure, I’m here from out of town and seen good reviews here so I made an appointment and just as everyone else said it’s a great place, great people looked like everyone was working hard and VERY BUSY! RUDE! I took my granddaughter and niece to get yogurt next door. Thought I would walk over to get a manicure. Wasn’t greeted except with” Do you have an appointment?” I said I didn’t, just wanted a manicure. They advised me they had three people coming in. Did not offer me an appointment. I have never ever been treated that way at a Nail Salon. I have had a lot of customers of mine recommend this place for the quality of their work . Dan came highly recommended. After being unhappy with my previous nail tech at a different shop. I asked around about a good nail place and every single one of them say Hawaii Nails. I went and Hannah did my nails. Very friendly and inexpensive, however not the spa like setting of some other nail places. I also have two new sores or cuts on my cuticles just from having my gel color changed. The color I picked for my gel mani was not matched well with the regular polish color for my pedi. Depends on who does your nails. Jimmy was awesome. Did a beautiful gel French manicure, attention to detail. My mom didn't want gel and Giango did a terrible job with the polish. Blamed it on the brush but didn't get a new brush, it's bubbling up and not drying. She rubbed the paraffin on but didn't completely take it off so she's oily and bits of paraffin are rubbing off her arms. When she mentioned the issues it was blamed on not getting gel instead. She did give a nice massage. Oh... and she told her she would look better if she got her eyebrows waxed. Read Less

I went on Google and read the reviews of this place and I went and checked it out that was May of 2015 and I just went again yesterday so I am a continued client. I had a reservation for 1:00 and arrived for the very first time going here and the place was packed! Every chair was filled for Manicure and Pedicures. So I thought it must be a good place. I only waited 5 minutes and was seated for a Pedicure. I had Jimmy, I the received the best Mani & Pedi ever from this man. Not to mention the wine they serve!! Wow!! Worth every dime! Best nail salon in all of St.Pete and I've been to several. Everyone is knowledgeable, everyone is super nice and they actually remember all of their customers. Not just their names and faces but the service they get. It's weird to watch different ladies (and men) walk into the salon and to hear their names called out while their being greeted! I have never been to a salon that everyone and when I say everyone is so nice and knowledgeable this is the only nail place you need in treasure island. I have lived here for about year and travel between my other home in clermont. Clean very clean and fast but in a good way. I have never had a better mani/pedi anywhere I am scheduled for a facial on Tuesday morning. Once again best nail salon that I have ever been to. This place has the possibly being the best salon in Chattanooga but probably has the rudest owner I've ever encountered. I keep coming back because they do awesome nails but after this last visit, I won't be back. Maybe they no longer take walk ins and that's fine but that should be advertised and explained.
