I went there to get my nails done & just paint for my toes and it took the lady 30min to paint my toes because she painted my skin as well and then she had to go back and use nail polish remover with a paint brush to fix it. Whole she was taking so long I asked if someone could come start glueing my nails on. The man I am assuming is the owner/manager said NO so.....I wasn't able to get my nails done for a very special occasion. When he sat there and did NOTHING while the girl was painting my nails! Rude and dirty place. They do not properly sanitize after each customers. They do a fast rinse, they use the dirty towel from the previous customer  to wipe and dry the foot spa out. They don't clean at all.. stay away. Read Less

Over priced and they never last! Got charged extra as 2 of my nails had broke. You get passed from one person to the next so you end up with about 4 people doing your nails. The only good thing is they have a wide range of colours but even that won’t make me go back again. Read Less

Never in my life will I be going back to D&K nail salon!! Always used them but this time round I'm absolutely disgusted, paid £40 for nails which looked fab but was also charged an extra £3 because I had them long lol. Had a few snapped off half way and the gold strips came off in a matter of 2 weeks!!! Please avoid wouldn't want anyone wasting there money on cheap and very thin over priced nails!! Read Less

I came here for a pedicure. I don't live around the area, but was recommended by a friend. I live in Windermere, but was in the area. Precious did my pedicure. Precious took very good care of me. She reads your vibe and knows whether you are looking for a quiet time or if you are wanting to chat. Precious made me feel very comfortable and now I want to make the drive over there every two weeks. It's very far for me but you don't find the comfort and conversation that you do with her anywhere around here. She made sure I was happy with my nails and didn't seemed rush, which I appreciated. I was quite happy with the overall result although I didn't notice until after one of my nails wasn't the right shape ... it's not cheap and I won't be paying 40 quid for chrome polish again and they actually wanted 35 pound just to chrome paint my toenails which I declined ... overall will return here but will look at the prices more carefully!!! Had a pedicure today; French.  The pedicure itself was fine-wouldn't call it great.  A CHILD could have done a better job with the painting of my toe nails.  The white nail polish portion is a straight line; no arch in the polish at ALL.  Uneven as well-some lines are thick.  And to top it off, the nail polish doesn't even go to the corners of each toenail.  I am removing the toe nail polish after I post this & will polish them with a solid color myself.  Won't be visiting this nail salon again; at least not for a pedicure.  Very dissatisfied. Another great experience at Lotus Nail salon! Philip and Louis both provide wonderful service- they take pride in their work. Philip does amazing designs on my toes. In short: - Not sure where the pictures of the fantastic nails come from, as mine were a very poor quality - From observation of other customers and my own experience, price appear to be made up on the spot. For a French tip full set of acrylics I was charged £29 (despite it saying £25 on the board), and quoted £40 for a French tip fade using the powder (?). - Method of applying acrylic left nails lumpy and misshaped - Asked for rose nail art, however this resulted in a few... straight lines so requested for it to be removed. Nails then rushed to finish. - Technician happy to leave nails at a very poor standard Overall I wouldn't recommend this salon. I was really excited to visit here based on the good reviews and pictures of amazing work done on nails, however left feeling very frustrated, and just another paying customer they were trying to get more money out of. I'm raving about this Salon! I've been to about 50 different salons over the UK and this was the best by far. They did my nails ombré with pink and white acrylic- the results were great and the staff really listen to what you want. So not only did they look good they have lasted OVER a month! (Ok they are a bit dull now and in desperate need of a refill) BUT I work full time in a hands on job and they haven't even lifted! I'll put some pics in the comments! I was in town for a wedding and chose this nail salon based on location and reviews... what a horrible decision. I asked for a regular mani/pedi and Tony (older gentleman) did both my mani and pedi. He missed paint on my toenails and did not cut any cuticles from either my hands or feet. He smudged one of my fingernails, and when I pointed it out, told me it was "okay". He also did not use a towel under my hands while doing my mani and got cotton fibers on my freshly painted nails. When I pointed this out, he once again replied with "it's okay". I should have just purchased a $7 bottle of polish and done them myself.*edit: my sister had her mani/pedi with Tania (Hispanic woman) and had a great experience. This salon is conveniently located close to me at intersection of 15 (narcoosee)and 192 Publix shopping center. Over the past 5 years the place has changed hands and employees a few times. Now operating as Lotus Nails the spa seems to have found its groove. The employees are happy and caring (refreshingly new) and the services range from nails to lashes to waxing. The place is clean and well appointed. The equipment and facility is in good working order and the time hours make for a quick in and out even for walk in's most of the time.  Time is precious so it's a one stop shop for me on my Saturday errands and I am pretty grateful for the convenience and final product. I went here for the first time to get my nails done. I paid $38 dollars for them. Three days later my nail cracked in half, so I went to get it fixed and the owner who did my nails made me pay $3 more dollars. A couple hours later another nail cracks in half. They have poor nail quality. The owner has a very bad attitude and was complaining about how he didn't like doing acrylic nails and that it smelled bad. Also kept telling me that I am old fashioned because I like acrylic nails. Furthermore, the owners wife asked me if she should charge me for fixing my nail, which she fixed with an attitude, when it had only been three days. I don't recommend them at all. Just left the nail salon with 2 friends and WILL NEVER GO BACK...terrible service. My friends wanted basic pedicures and was left soaking for over 30min and I wanted a gel nail polish manicure and was left soaking for the same time to where I had to peel the polish off myself. One man wrote on a customer while he was on the phone fixing his bank information while we just sat there. My friends were not talked to or offered anything like water or wine. I had to get them water from the refrigerator. After about 45 min with no help we left...WE WILK NEVER BE BACK and recommend them learning some customer service for their future clients. Read Less

I only decided to try this place out because of a friends recommendation. I couldn't have been more disappointed!  I needed a pink and white fill with a cut down. I should have walked out when the guy said they didn't need to be cut down and the white didn't need to be done. My left hand has one finger that was left longer than the rest. My right hand all my nails are way too long and my longer than my left hand. Every one of my white lines on both hands are lop sided. I'll NEVER go back to this place. Initially came here because of the reviews and pictures. I had acrylic nails that I wanted to remove, as well as apply gel nail polish on my natural nails after. I decided to also get a pedicure which was ok.. I mentioned I liked very square nails and the woman shaped them more round than square. During the acrylic removal process, after soaking my nails the woman attempted to remove the wet acrylic with the machine making it squirt everywhere. After the acrylic was finally off my nails I had them cut and filed, however they were filed so poorly and we're still left rough on the edges (not smooth at all). The woman later applied color 531 (a seafoam green gel color) to my nails, and after she finished I noticed bubbles/bumps on my nails as if dirt or something was trapped underneath the polish she was applying poorly.When I finally ask how much it is the woman quoted me $24 for the regular pedicure, $5 for removal of acrylic set (which is fine), and $29 for a REGULAR gel manicure....I was a little confused with the price for the gel since I got plain gel with no design and saw on their pricing card beforehand that gel was $20. After this whole procedure I was already too annoyed to argue and simply just wanted to get out of there. Not to mention that her and the man there were trying so hard to sell me the "Nexgen" nail polish (which is obviously more expensive) after I repeatedly said no thank you just regular gel. Even as I got home my nails are extremely rough and sharp because of the uneven filing and poor polish application. Probably will my be coming back. Read Less

Great nail salon with plenty of chairs and colors. Can't beat the prices and color selection. Got a deluxe pedicure and gel manicure. For the pedicure, you pick a "flavor" for water/scrubs/lotions.
