I received a gift certificate for Christmas and decided to use it towards a package which included a facial, massage, and scrub. When you go to a spa, you expect the place to be clean. This place was absolutely filthy and I was extremely uncomfortable the whole time for the $300 I paid. The carpet in the main round sitting room had not been cleaned in ages and there were missing tiles on the floor. The chaise lounges and chairs were visibly filthy as well. The room for the body scrub had mold everywhere. When I was face down, I looked down at the table and there was mold 3 inches from my face that I had to breath in the entire time. Located in the gated community of The King and the Bear, this spa is inside of Laterra about 1 mile from the main gate, located off of Pacetti Road. I received a gift card for Christmas so I added some money and scheduled an 80 minute deep tissue massage with Michael. I was looking forward to my appointment  because my body felt like it had been run over, thanks to yoga on Sunday! I was greeted by the lovely receptionist, provided with a robe / slippers and taken to the changing area. Michael greeted me and escorted me to the dimly lit massage room where the warmed massage table and calming music awaited.Micheal did a great job asking if he was applying two much or too little pressure. I enjoyed the massage, the warm clothes applied to my feet / back during the massage and the one provided after.  I felt very relaxed and my body rejuvenated!The only disappointing part of my visit was that the steam room was not available due to renovations. I have been going to this salon for a few months now after I destroyed my hair by having it bleached to remove the previous hair color from another salon, Well Sarah did an amazing job bringing my hair back to life and normal. My only complaint is the salon smells a little like mildew. Read Less

Love. This. Place.Visited the spa for a facial and massage, and I didn't want to leave. Both services were fantastic. The spa itself is well-appointed, with spacious changing facilities, numerous private showers with rainshower heads, plush robes, and a nice seating area with refreshments for in between services. So I've been trying for the past couple days get a hold of someone. Email, phone calls, Twitter. Nothing. I finally get a hold of him today but he informed me that they're going to close up because it's memorial day weekend. It's nice and all because it's a holiday but I've never known for a business to close early.. and they are not really a spa. They say they are a spa but they only offer services. They don't have any of a spa facility. How can they even use that in their title???? Read Less

My step mom and I went here for massages and pedicures in February and had a really nice, relaxing time. We were greeted by friendly staff who escorted us to the locker area where they had plush robes and slippers waiting for us. We then had hour long massages...oh how I wish they were 4 hours! After our massages we were escorted to a lounge area where we were given snacks and water. Finally we had pedicures...they weren't the best that I've ever had but it was good. Not sure what "TOP NOTCH" service everyone else received, but I got a ridiculously expensive mani-pedi and it looks like a 6 year old did it. The girl that did my nails was far from pleasant and took forever. I'm so disappointed because I had such high expectations and spent a lot of money. My daughters hair was so damaged (sun, split ends, tween neglect and knots) she's 12, I sent her to Zena and I promise you my daughters hair looks and feels like someone else's. What a great spa! Reasonable prices, very nice location and Coral is the best part. She knows massage therapy and gives a fantastic deep tissue massage.  You feel it afterwards but in a great way - she will work those knots out and you will feel better for weeks.  I was lucky enough to have massage by Coral in the past and am so happy to find her again. This is definitely a hidden secret. Very clean and professional. The most amazing bathrobes, and the lounge chairs were incredible...so comfy with the best blanket. I love how they put orange slices in their water instead of lemons. Kate was the best! A fantastic massage!!! Price was reasonable. Mary at front desk friendly and helpful as were the two ladies who checked me out at the end. A spectacular way to spend an afternoon. Love The Spa at World Golf Village. The staff make me feel like a princess! They really take the time to get to know the clientele and go out of their way to cater to our wants and needs! While this spa was quite far from the Hotel I was at, once there the staff was wonderful. The decor is serene. I just came for a Pedi but was treated with first class style. It may be due to timing or season, but I was the only person there for the most part. Read Less
