Ive been going to this nail salon for many years and have always left extreamly happy with all services. They do the best job on nails in St Augustine!! A+++ I've been to other salons that are closer to my house and have been dissapointed and find myself no matter the drive right back. This place was purchased and under new management, hence the vastly different reviews from a year ago. They've renovated and hired new staff and they're awesome! I come here once every two weeks and the girl that does my nails is always friendly and remembers me. I have had bad experiences that destroyed my nails at other local salons, and they always fixed it when I come here. I have even brought in unique colors of my own and shown them pictures of trendy nail styles and they always got it right the first time. I will always come back here! Read Less

Normally I post lots of positive reviews so I apologize. But Q Nails will neeeever get my business again. Horrible customer service. I went last week with my daughter to have my nails done and have an extensive pedicure (which I paid $60 for AND tipped). I asked the lady for the one with the most massage due to the fact that I am very due for a baby and my feet are killing me. Long story short she never even TOUCHED my feet. She continued to rub the same exact spot on the top of my leg. I then opened my mouth and said isn't a pedicure about your feet? I asked you to rub my feet and my ankles and she proceeded to put her finger in between my toes one time and then ended the pedicure. I even said something to the tech that was doing my daughters nails. Nothing. I could have cried I was so upset (yes, cried...you try being 40 weeks pregnant and only having time to go get a pedicure once that was absolutely terrible). I called the manager or owner whatever he is and told him how upset I was and he told me to come back Saturday morning at 10 a.m. to have it redone. I show up this morning and he tells me he refuses to redo my pedicure because my services have already been completed. I told him that I was told otherwise and that I paid $90 with a tip to get a service that was not what I was expecting or what was on the pamphlet that I chose. I have been here several times with no problem however today was terrible.... I asked the price for shellac without a manicure the guy told me $20..... She ended up doing a manicure which was so bad I didn't even know she was doing a manicure ! So I go to check out they charge me $30 I said I didn't want the manicure and he said well it's good for your nails! Really? So now they determine what they want u to have!what a rip off!!!!! I stopped by this place once before driving home from work and I really enjoyed my experience as it was a nice way to end the day. I visited a few times after and it's always been such a treat. I went in to have my gel polish removed as well as have more put on. The lady began filing my polish off with a dremel.  I asked if she was going to let them soak or wrap them, she said yes in a minute.  She filed my nails until it began to hurt and I asked her to stop. She then let them soak.  She ruined my nails and then told me she couldn't help me because my nails were too thin.  I left there and went to Royal Nails, they had to patch my nails with acrylic to strengthen them so they could grow out.  Needless to say, I will not be going back to QNails. I've tried many times to come back here, but the service is just sub par. They ended up waxing off a bit of skin when I got my eyebrows done, and they've messed up my nail service a few times as well. Overall, most of my experiences there have been either mundane or really awful.Alivia nails just up the road is a much better alternative. Read Less

My daughter and I received manicures with gel and pedicures. First the entire place is dirty and it operates like a drive through. The cuticle cutters the owner used on me were rusty and the work stations were filthy. I refused the graters because I was afraid they were not sterilized. The tubs were not scrubbed between customers which I wish I saw before our pedicures so we could have left. My French manicure was ok. My daughters looked like I did it for her. Uneven with rough edges. Also there are 2 very young children working here that look absolutely miserable. I feel bad for them. It was an awful experience. Not relaxing. Hoping we don't catch something from the disgusting tubs. So gross. Never again. Yuck. Read Less

I travel all over America and needed a fill and pedicure. I found a neighborhood favorite. The salon was clean and well equipped. Every person was busy and had a sense of confidence. My pedicure and fill was perfect. Prices were good - $25 for the pedicure and $20 for the fill. Read Less
