These are the worst set of nails I've ever had to pay for in my whole entire life. One week ago, I was about to have my nails done at a different nail shop but they could not do the pink and white gel...
These are the worst set of nails I've ever had to pay for in my whole entire life. One week ago, I was about to have my nails done at a different nail shop but they could not do the pink and white gel I requested. So. I called nearby nail shops specifically asked for pink and white stiletto gel nails. Happy nails told me that they can do them for $45. I explained to 4 different techs what color pink and white I wanted done to my nails. David did my nails. Once it was time to polish my nails he told me he cannot do the pink and white nail color I wanted. So he just painted my tips pink, which came out really ugly. He charged me $50. I complained to the owner that I wanted my money back. The owner told me next to time make my decision how I want my nails done then she just chunked and thickened on more layers of gel polish over my nails and gave me the pink and white that I originally requested. I tried to wear the nails for a couple days. A dozen people told me i need to go back and get my refund because they look too thick and terrible! One nail even already feel off.I came back to request a refund, instead they refused refunding my money and had the same tech, David, redo my thick chunky nails. While he did my nails, he insisted that it was my fault that my nails are no good. He was able to paint what he originally told me he could not do. If he would have done it right the first time then we wouldn't have This problem. He redid my nails too thin. I didn't notice until after they dried when I was already home. 2 days later, One nail has already chipped. He painted the gel polish unevenly, heavier chunks of gel on one end of each nail. Tried to visit today to have them corrected but they are closed. I will be requesting my money back for such an awful experience, however, More than likely, they will have the same tech do them again.

I rarely ever give reviews, but this was the worst manicure and pedicure I've ever had. I know it is a tedious job, but it is your job. Massage wasn't even like a massage, spread lotion, wipe it off...
I rarely ever give reviews, but this was the worst manicure and pedicure I've ever had. I know it is a tedious job, but it is your job. Massage wasn't even like a massage, spread lotion, wipe it off - she didn't even wipe in all the lotion on my arm, just left a blob on there. I had to ask her to please clean off the nail polish on my cuticles, which she did, but then she put the clear top coat and it was all over the edges. I came home and redid my hands myself. I will never go back there.

Save your money and save your time. This salon is filthy! There are no liners in foot bath, lazy pitiful speedy sloppy pedi, unsanitized tools, manicure equally sloppy and clearly a language barrier with minimal English. I am surprised code has not shut this place down.

Horrible! I have never reviewed anything in my life- I went there for a standard pedicure and I had to ask her to file my nails and when she did she did them uneven and cut me with the file. Will neve...

I don't normally do this but I have to say this is the worst nail place in St Augustine. I have given them several chances and this last time was it for me. Made an appointment but still had to wait....
I don't normally do this but I have to say this is the worst nail place in St Augustine. I have given them several chances and this last time was it for me. Made an appointment but still had to wait. No big deal. My fill was sloppy, bumpy, not smooth at all and she cut up my cuticles. There are no words for the horrific paint job. She knew I was upset and just sat me down at the dry station and patted me on my back. Never again!

I gave them one star as zero is not an option. Nail tech seemed to be going through the motions. End result was $28 for a messy gel nail polish. She painted my cuticles and tried to cut it out to fix it and left a bigger mess. She offered no consolation and no discount for an awful job!

So the woman who did my nails was really nice and tried to do the design I asked for, but if you're looking for a fun, out of the ordinary special occasion type of mani, this is not the place. Maybe I'm used to better nail salons up north idk but she could barely even do the flower on my nails she said was her favorite thing to do. They're dots with some wispy broken lines attached to it. They can't do ombré nails either which isn't really a new or too difficult thing to do. Also for a $40 gel mani after tip ($7) she left my finger tips full of polish I just wasn't that impressed.

I used to love this place. But they have become very factory like: getting you in and out very quickly. The quality has dropped as well. My nails needed touching up in 2 days. I will find a new place

While in st Augustine I needed a new set of nails, this is always risky trying a completely unknown business but my nails looked bad could have saved 45$ considering the nails fell off with in 2 days....

Just relocted to St Augustine and made the rounds of salons. I've been to Happy Nails twice and very pleased both times. The man who did my manipedi the first time was great. Super long massage...Yay!...
Just relocted to St Augustine and made the rounds of salons. I've been to Happy Nails twice and very pleased both times. The man who did my manipedi the first time was great. Super long massage...Yay! And he removed my gel polish the correct way, by soaking not sanding!Just finished getting a gel mani and pedi with the sweetest girl : Trang. All I can say is she was so pleasant and talented and did everything perfect. The salon is clean and relaxing. The prices seem competitive. Seems the brow lady is in high demand...she had quite a line, but she kept it moving! Everyone left smiling.

I have been coming to this location to buy gift certificates for years. Unfortunately , this last time I came will be my last time stepping foot inside this establishment.I came in here last Thursday around 4:30 pm . There was one customer being served. I patiently stood at the front count for about 10 minutes, but couldn't get the gentlemen to acknowledge me , even after he looked my way . Growing impatient , I asked if I could purchase a gift certificate ( as I have done so many times in the past). He says to me, and I quote " no, come back tomorrow ." I couldn't believe that ! I drove almost 20 minutes to this place out of my way to be told to come back another day to purchase a gift certificate ?I usually buy about 500 dollars worth of them a year. Oh well, I guess I will have to find another establishment that wants my business .

This place started nice but ended in a horrible experience. They charged my friend the wrong amount and when she left they took it out on us. Didn't finish the gel and made us put our lotion on oursel...
This place started nice but ended in a horrible experience. They charged my friend the wrong amount and when she left they took it out on us. Didn't finish the gel and made us put our lotion on ourselves. The lack of professionalism was astounding. Two days later the gel is chipping off. Felt like we were being weighed up. The prices were different for each of us and we all got the same thing. Will not be back.

This nail salon did a great job on my mani pedi. Much better than the other 2 places I've been, including a similar type nail salon and a nice day spa. My nails and toes look great!This isn't the nicest salon I've been to, and they definitely don't give you a back massage while your nails dry (maybe that's only done back North, where I'm from?), but I will definitely be coming back. This is going to be my regular spot.

This was my go-to place for at least the last three years, but after today I'm sad to say I won't be back. I don't believe they are sanitizing their tools/brushes, a BIG ole' verbal argument in the foreign language broke out between the employees (um, awkward!!) and the negative energy was off the charts. My mani/pedi was just "okay" after I requested a few touch ups on the polish my tech had a mini meltdown and obviously started talking to the others about it. Yikes, #byefelicia.

First all I see a lot of people come here while I'm on my way to Publix or Sally's so I thought would give it a try when my other salon i preferred closed early. Now it wasn't crowded at the time and one hour to close but for some reason they were in a rush rush attitude. The gentleman that served me did not crack a smile not one time. Then he tried to talk me out of getting a manicure and I figured out why. But anyway I told him ok but at the end of my pedi I told him I did need one because I saw my terrible hang nails. He didn't look at me and just said hurry up we close at 7pm. Now we still had a half hour to go but it was sooo rude of him that I felt like I'm spending my money just do it. Well to do the manicure he has to remove the gel polish which takes special procedure and he began to really rush and get rough with my hands. I was very uncomfortable and figured I would not come back. Not to mention the lady that took care of my friend was being friendly to him which was great but after the pedicure she scrubbed the sides of the foot tub with the nail brush she used on my friend. Yuck.

I agree with the previous review in that they need better ventilation. We made a late appointment but there still seemed to be a lot of people in there. The woman that did my toes did a good job except she cut too much nail off my big toe :( the price was reasonable at $24. I probably will find another place next time though.

Lots of people seem to go here for personal grooming. Well staffed but, the chemical smell is almost unbearable (well for me). Hits you in the face as soon as you walk in. Suggest a better ventilation...

These are the worst set of nails I've ever had to pay for in my whole entire life. One week ago, I was about to have my nails done at a different nail shop but they could not do the pink and white gel I requested. So. So the woman who did my nails was really nice and tried to do the design I asked for, but if you're looking for a fun, out of the ordinary special occasion type of mani, this is not the place. Maybe I'm used to better nail salons up north idk but she could barely even do the flower on my nails she said was her favorite thing to do. They're dots with some wispy broken lines attached to it. This place started nice but ended in a horrible experience. They charged my friend the wrong amount and when she left they took it out on us. I agree with the previous review in that they need better ventilation. We made a late appointment but there still seemed to be a lot of people in there. The woman that did my toes did a good job except she cut too much nail off my big toe :( the price was reasonable at $24. I probably will find another place next time though.
