I have been getting my nails since I first moved to Saint Augustine 4 years ago. They are popular so they cannot always accommodate walk ins so I always make an appointment. I can call same day and make an appointment and it's never been a problem. Their acrylic nails are fantastic and never break, I moved to Miami and paid twice the price for a couple of years and they never compared. The hateful comments written by people who were refused a walk in are exactly the kinds of people who don't deserve their service anyway. I wouldn't go to any other salon in Saint Augustine. Went here on a recommendation. Greatly disappointed. They were never "friendly". When I would strike up a conversation,  I would quickly get cut off or told "Be quiet". I continue coming because Terri can do free hand art work.. I stayed quiet for my time there, waiting for it to be over. They made me feel so uncomfortable as if I were intruding. Then the day I'll never forget,  the day she stood up and went on her mental breakdown tirade. That was the day I decided No More! No client/customer should be treated that way. They need to change the sign to UNFRIENDLY Nails.  Neither were ever friendly unless you were 60 or older.Even the person who gave the recommendation had stopped going there before I had even mentioned what happened. She knew I was a quiet person,  but did speak up if there were bubbles in my polish. Otherwise I'm pretty quiet when I get my mani & pedi's. She stopped going because they started giving her attitudes.  If they messed up she'd make them redo it. Old polish!. When she and I talked we both felt better; we weren't alone. My first time here. Nice atmosphere, regulars seemed very comfortable.  Terry was very attentive to my feet and my comfort..  She was quick, thorough, and experienced. No chit chat. Chairs are comfortable and all was clean.  Lots of colors, though they were scattered around and I did not realize all the options.  Left with a so-so color.  I would go again. Read Less

Great family owned business. I've been coming here for 10 years and there very fast and the do great quality work. My acrylic nails stay on forever without breaking or cracking. I love Friendly Nails. Terri & Evelyn are wonderful. Polite, professional & great at what they do. Pedicures chairs are comfy & give a great massage. My gel mani always looks super fresh & are exactly how I want them when Terri is finished. Clean salon & friendly company. I would recommend calling for an appt a day or two in advance though. They get busy because there's generally only those two working, sometimes another girl on the weekends. Read Less
