I found this place using Google, so it was my 1st time at Fansy Nails. Right away I was assisted by Kim. She welcomed me with a huge smile and from there I knew this was a great place, plus her customer service was great! Her kindness Was very welcoming and she did a great job on my pedicure. I'm new to the neighborhood and was looking for a nice, clean and friendly nail salon. Found Fansy nails in Yelp and saw it had a good review. Made a. Appt and had my nails and pedicure done with Kim (the owner). She's very appreciative of her customers and is so sweet. I was cut very badly by one of the girls last Thursday. It is infected and very painful. My doctor hasn't seen anything like it. He said their equipment must not be cleaned properly. The manager did not apologise and showed no remorse. He gave me 20% off, which I made very clear was not acceptable. I've had to buy antiseptic cream, dettol and antibiotics. I'm struggling to get my children in and out of the car and do normal tasks because it is extremely painful if bumped. If it spreads the doctor has said I need to go straight to emergency. Worse nail salon ever! Broke my nail, had to put a tip to fix their mess up! Blue French tip Nexgren is terrible then complained cause I didn't give them a tip! Three of my ten nails a complete disaster, tips of French manicure style are different sizes, nails are jagged, all in my wedding anniversary weekend!! So disappointed! Won't come back here again. Literally in the nail salon Twilight Zone if such a place exists. Upon walking in I was ignored but strangely after a woman of European decent walked in she asked her what she needed and directed her to a chair. When I spoke up and said I was here first, Kim who seems to be the owner said I did not come in here first customers had to vouch for me. Wven the lady who walked in after said she is mistaken. Kim unapologetic after calling me a liar, unhappily told me to sit. Two minutes after the situation she was waiting on another customer and her card machine was not working so she turned to me and asked me could I fix it. So I went from being ignored and being called a liar to not being asked if I can fix her credit card machine. And this was just five minutes after walking in the door. Because it was Sunday and I didn't have any money options I decided to stay. Let's just say I was better off running to CVS and buying a Sally Hansen nail set and file to do my own nails. By the next day and look like an amateur with cataracts had painted my nails. I've been getting my nails done here for about 12 months and have never had a problem! The attention to detail is amazing, the staff are friendly and always up for a chat. EDIT!..... DO NOT GO HERE! I went into the store tonight and was treated very rudely. I tried to explain to them the damage I had to my nails with the acrylic breaking and cracking and actually cracked and split my own nails that they are now broken down past the nail bed. I have never had this happen to my nails before. They told me they could do nothing as it was past 24 hours and I didn't get into the store to show them the damage. That is ridiculous when I notified them... of the nails and damage the very day I got them done. Tonight was the first time I could get into store with my work hours. Original post: I had good service in the store today. BUT it's not even 6pm and the gel polish is already peeling off and acrylic is chipped and cracking off already. I just moved down here from NYC and I'm very selective with my nail technicians. I've only been to one other nail salon in Palm Beach @ the mall; good but pricey. I decided to go to Fansy Nails and glad I did! Kim, the owner has a very clean and beautiful salon. Her passion for nails are evident in the quality of her work. I asked for "coffin nails" style with gel ,which many are not skilled in doing. She did a GREAT job and was very accommodating by supplying bottled water and even chocolate! First experience there and they were very good. The shape was a little off what i wanted but they were amazing with how many times i changed what i wanted the colour to be and dealt with it really professio-nail-ly. Not happy today wrong colour given and thumb nail shorter than rest. Came back after last time as gel polish chipped with in week and acyclic came off nail within 10 days Was recommended to come here hence trying twice will not be back... Pleasantly surprised! While I was there, the nail techs greeted everyone that entered with a cheery tone, and made it a point to make clients feel appreciated. That is more than I can say for other nail salons in this area. The salon is small, but it doesn't feel crowded. The reason for the 4 stars is only because, as a cosmetologist, I noticed a few practices that would fail state regulations. I hate to be picky, but it is what it is. If I could give a 0 I would. I have used these guys for years and never had a issue...I got my nails done in the new shop near s&s hair and beauty, I now have a fungal infection under my nail from what I'm guessing was unclean tools. Not happy at all! Read Less

$80 for pedi and shaping plus gel on my own nails, wasn't shapped properly polish was missed, my heels were not done properly either. Unfortunately they were to busy concentrating on talking or trying to squeeze in as many people as possible on a Saturday. Really disappointed and definitely will not be returning!!! Read Less
