The guy that did my manicure and pedicure did a very nice job. I came in last minute, hoping that they weren't crowded. They were not crowded but my pedicure did take a while to get completed. I have read all these reviews such negativity. I use Rosie and followed her from another nail salon. Would not use or let anyone else do my nails. She is amazing and my nails are perfect every time. Worst place ever to get your nails done. The lady called Bong put so much gel on my fingers my nail was glued to the skin like super glue. When I told her to fix it she got mad and stormed off to an older lady and gestured towards me. This lady told me there was nothing wrong with the way it was done. Tried multiple times but today is the last time.  Gave it another shot due to them bring open on Sunday and wanted a pedicure. They were very unorganized I getting clients back for services.  The lady doing my pedi barely massaged my legs...I kept thinking she was going to do more but didn't.  I also paid extra for cloud treatment and she didn't spend much time with that either.  I pointed out on both feet that there was polish that needed to be cleaned up off of my skin.  She looked at it close but then did nothing.  Another patron sitting next to me was not happy either and said it was her first time there but now also her last time. I brought my daughter and her friend here for acrylic nails and they both had pictures of what they wanted.  Well, the guy doing my daughters nails told her he could do her nails like she requested, but then halfway through, told her he couldn't (???) not sure why he'd say he could do something he couldn't, but whatever!  Anyway that wasn't our major issue with this place, it was that BOTH of the girls had several fingers bleeding from where the men had filed their skin off!!!  Seriously!  The ladies at Pink and White Nails were really friendly, but that isn't enough to make me want to return there again.  My daughter said the nail technician did apologize for cutting her fingers. I live in the area and have tried multiple times to give this place a chance, and I try to like it and I have to say, it's just not worth the money to come here. I've just never had a great experience. Not terrible-but not great either. They do the BARE minimum for 20 and always seem to be in a rush. They are not very friendly and I always feel that they are almost inconvenienced or bothered when Ive come in. They seem unhappy and stressed out, and the only truly social and nice girl I've had was ironically super young. I believe she said she was still in high school or just started college. This place survives off of a demographic of repeat customers (usually people who either have no other comparative or go here because it's a location of convenience) because if it weren't for that I don't see how they are still around. Eh, it was adequate.  Certainly did not leave me wanting to go back.  On the plus side, they were open on a Sunday but so is McDonald's and church.When you ask how much, they SAY $20; THEN, they put you in the chair, your feet in water, and ask do you want this, of course I do, well that's an extra $10, do you want this, that's an extra $5.  C'mon, that's not cool.  Plus they handed me a menu sized set of prices, no joke.  Like three or four pages.  Hey, I just wanted a pedicure, not a salad or whatever was on that menu.  AND my massage chair was optional.  Whaaat?  Of course I want it turned on!  That's half the pleasure!Go down to Rosy Nails on the other side of Sam's - they give it all to you for $20, no hidden fees!  And they turn on the massage chair for you, without being asked. I visited this location on a weeknight for a walk in pedicure. I was quickly greeted and told to choose a color. Pedicure chairs are in the back. They face a wall with a big screen TV. The price of the basic pedicure is lower than other shops in the area; however they charge $5 extra for callus removal. There are 4 different pedicure options.  The Pedicure itself wasn't too short or too long. Water was perfect temperature as well. I didn't catch the name of the lady helping me but she did a fantastic job and was very polite and courteous, always making sure she wasn't hurting me. She even asked me if I felt any pain or discomfort on the toe nail tip/corner were it meets skin, so that she can trim it properly. I enjoyed my experience. I highly recommend. Read Less

I get pedicures about once a month up in MI where I live and have tried many salons.  I'm in FL and got a pedicure here today with 'Lily'.  OMG, one of the best pedicures I've ever gotten.  Not only did she do wonders on my hoof like feet but the leg massage was the best ever.  Hot stones, hot towels, scrubs, massage.  I could have fallen asleep it was so relaxing.  From now on I may postpone my MI pedicure when I know I will be down in Riverview soon. The service was really rushed and not welcoming at all. For the money I spent the tech was barely in their seat, I either saw her walking for around 10 minutes or just watching tv while I sat there and I only got gel on my natural nails. I'm sitting in the chair for my pedicure as I write this. I'm new to the area and this is my first visit to this salon. My tech has already done one big negative.  I looked down as he finished filing my toenails and saw that it was a VERY used nail file. And now I'm a bit grossed out at the foot scrub, which appears discolored. They touch the bottle opening to their dirty implements, every time. No sterilization was done in the 45 minutes I have been here. My nail tech simply put everything back on his cart and pushed it to the side. Yep, I'll be using alcohol when I get home. I've been here 3 times because there really aren't many nail salons in the area. Some of the techs are friendly but some also hardly speak English and are very difficult to work with. When I asked for hot water for pedi instead of cold, I was denied and told it was warm enough. My French pedi was uneven. Any time I've had acrylics done I've been very unhappy as well. I'd give it a negative rating if I could. My husband bought me a gift certificate for our anniversary. When I used it, the lady didn't speak English. My pedicure was awful and only lasted just shy of 20 minutes. She cut me in 2 places, my nails are crooked and the next day 4 of my toes started to swell and became inflamed. This place was a Breath of FRESH air after walking into a few of the other salons in the area. Seeing dark, grungy, and un-welcoming "competitors" all within a 5 mile radius, Pink and White is so fresh and clean and where you want to be for a relaxing pedicure. I brought my daughter here for a back to school mani/pedi and they treated her so kindly and gave her the royal treatment. A separate back area for the pedicures with chandeliers and up to date spa chairs. It's a little tight with narrow walk ways, but all minor when your taken care of with friendly staff and a clean, well decorated environment. Prices were reasonable too! Read Less

Poor customer service. ...I've been going to this business for the last 5 months the girl who started doing my nails was great and I really appreciate that she did a good job and she had a great communication and customer service but everything changed after she left, the other day I sat for 45 minutes and no one even care about doing my nails the rudest part is that they speak their native language well if you are in the United States and you're dealing with American customers you need to speak English. You need to update the people there are waiting how much longer they have to wait and also you need to show a smile. For you Anthony who is the business owner your reviews at the other website don't even matter to me why because the customers always have to reason if you don't care and all you care is about cursing to customers.... This is the worsted nail salon I've ever been to. The staff is always grumpy for starters. The job is always rushed and sloppy, had the worsted experience with worker named Lena. In the past week I've been to this salon three times fr a simple mani/pedi, each time i went was after my work hours, although i had to wait to be attended to, they were never able to complete both requests on same day as they were rushing to close. I said ok its Friday so ill come back to complete my pedicure another day. This was the first trip with a rushed manicure , i returned a few days later fr my pedicure which was done and requested a change of color for my fingers since my toe was now done in a completely different color. Lena painted over the dark color gellnail with the pink color selected and advised that her friends were rushing her and would lleave here. She told me to come back again and she would redo for free. As much as i hate the thought of having to take time out my schedule a third time to come back, i said ok. Well today i went again 2 days later and was charged for a manicure although i was advised i would not have pay, she went back on her wrd. This is the last time i use this salon n would never recommend this place. I recently moved to Riverview from town and country, n i will prefer to spend $ going back to my original salon way across town as unfortunately u only find friendly staff that knows how to do a perfect job each and every time. Never rushing, they take their time and get the job done the FIRST time. Star nails salon for anyone interested in that area. I've been coming here for 3 1/2 years.  I couldn't tell you what anyone's name is. No one ever says hi when we walk in and I'm sure they do not know my name either.  The owners " Mr & Mrs look at me I'm buffed and gorgeous" love strutting their stuff in front of everyone.  Staff turnover is constant so you don't have much of a chance to get to know anyone.  And I won't even get started on the irritating language and laughing by them all, very uncomfortable.Now that being said... All that is not why I'm here.  I want a good pedicure, and I feel they do a good job here.  The salon is very pretty, all new pedicure chairs with massage.  I get the $30 spa pedicure because I love all the massage and different lotions and oils used.  My polish is always perfect and my feet feel great when done.  Unlike another Yelper who said he saw the same instruments being used from customer to customer, I have NEVER seen that happen.   Not saying they are the most sanitary place, but I've never had a problem with that here.In conclusion, I'm happy with the pedicures, but not with the friendliness.  But I'm not here looking for a friend.  I just want awesome feet, and that I get!!! This place is so bad that I am hijacking my husband's Yelp to write a review. I got a pedicure here, and simply wish I hadn't. I saw one nail tech move from one pedicure to another without sterilizing or changing tools. I also saw the same tech use a chemical that is supposed to be used to sterilize equipment on a woman's feet! Probably not cool since the bottle had all sorts of warnings against using it on humans.This place LOOKS very nice. But it may not be as clean as one would like, based on the above observations. A pedicure costs only $30, but is NOT worth the health risks.They do not even scrub the tubs after each patron gets a pedicure. They rinse them out, and then move on to the next customer. Oh, and I failed to mention... they have signs all over the place saying that kids are not welcome in the pedicure area, BUT I have seen multiple children belonging to the nail techs here, on more than one occasion.NEVER again. I'm not sure if this salon is affiliated with the P/W in Brandon by Winthrop Center but the salon on Big Bend in the Sweet Bay shopping center is awesome.  Tina gives the BEST pedicures-anyone who goes here knows this as the truth.  Susan is who you want to see for the Shalack nail polish.  This salon is clean, quick and professional.  I go here every other week and have tried a lot of salons in the area and I can't compare anyone to Tina.  She's the best.  Make sure you ask for her. Made an appointment with the owner, got to salon 5 minutes before appointment, was told she just took another client 5 minutes ago and it would be a 45 min wait.
