I made the mistake of going here one time. It will be my first and last trip all in one. Nail tech woman was nice. She seemed to understand what I wanted when I explained I want my SNS full set taken off, to then get a full pink and white set. To in detail describe all in all what went wrong with my nails.... acrylic way too thick height wise off of my nail bed, I asked for thin white tips (more pink, for a more natural look), I got more white tip than pink, lines were NOT neat or clean. As I mentioned these things along the way I felt I was talked to as if I was getting my nails done for the first time and I was being fooled into an expensive price for a garbage nail job. I was charged $10 to take my previous set off.... it took 25 min to take off. I was ignored or talked over when I pointed out things that I did not like/bothered me. Most upsetting thing of all was I left with super glue all over my hands. I mentioned once I needed acetone on a cotton pad or cotton ball to take the glue off. She instead said oil would work. She pointed and said “look oil is gone”.... I washed my hands for the third time and was so frustrated I still had glue and acrylic stuck all over. I left cash for my bill and left immediately. Left disappointed, upset, and annoyed. Not worth the $$ or how long they take. If anyone wants to go somewhere near by go to BLISS nail salon off of big bend. I am a loyal customer to them other than this one time. Never will I go somewhere different again!!!!! Read Less

My daughters and I got mani/pedis for our trip and had to return 2 days later to get touch ups. Then the day after we got back (10 days after getting them) 2 of us had to go back because all our fingers were peeling. I will definitely not be going back. Read Less

Julie was absolutely amazing! Best customer service I have received lately at Zen. She recommended the SNS nails since I am a nurse and work a lot with my hands. She was very knowledgeable about the SNS and definitely convinced me! They look amazing now even after removing my acrylic nails. I went here last night to have my acrylic nails removed because I just didn’t want them anymore. The nail tech which was a guy, was very rude and rough with my nails. He did not soak them, he started clipping and then used another fake nail to pop them off. My fingers were so sore I couldn’t even touch them last night and it’s the same today. Even living in Chattanooga now for school, I always drive to Cleveland to get my nails here. I love this salon. The absolute best place to go so in love Everytime you have to get Julie she is the best I just love her she makes the cutest nails and so super sweet!!! I had my nails done on Friday didn’t like them but at no fault of the nail tech they did what I asked for. I went a day with the nails and they color and shape wasn’t working for me. I don’t know why there are so many bad reviews about Zen Nails! I went here for the first time yesterday and I fell in love!! Nina did my pedicure and it looked amazing and she was amazing! $10 tip from me! And Julie, she did my ombré full set which looks BEAUTIFUL! Julie is the ombré QUEEN! She is so very sweet and she’s very funny! Julie is just an awesome, genuine person, please give her a raise! Lol And the manager (idk her name) was very nice and professional, she was walking around making sure everyone liked their service which I really like that she was doing that. I really can’t say enough great things about this place! Today I went to Zen to get my eyebrows waxed. I requested the new owner because I had heard from some of the workers how great of a job she does. She continually talked while waxing my eyebrows which I loved! She was so friendly and talked to me about God and her family and how she ended up in Cleveland. Made a mistake coming here. First and last time for sure. Not even 3 days after getting a full set they are already lifting and the fronts clearly look like they used elementary glue from the store because the nail wasn't even connected to the white tips. Beautiful salon with HORRIBLE customer service. There was a dirty blanket on the eyebrow table ( who knows how often they change it) they lady stopped doing my daughters eyebrows to answer the phone and left wax all over my daughters eyes. I've been going here for the last few months after having gel manicures chip off within days from other nail salons, I voiced my concern when I went in and they suggested sns nails.... They're amazing and look like acrylics without the damage to your nails. I've had 2 mishaps with my nails but they fixed them both times, once was a chipped nail 3 days later and they fixed it free of charge, the last was the nail techs fault but I didn't notice it until I got home. Went for a mani pedi with my girls! The spa chairs recline, and have back massagers on them not to mention they offered wine while we were relaxing! The gentleman that did my nails (Bruce) was funny and did a great job! Very courteous. Very sarcastic and witty but that's my kind of people! Anyway. We brought 3 kids (6, 5, and 2) due to last minute sitter issues, and they joked and chatted with them too! Bruce also did excellent work on my cuticles and poor nails . And to top it all, it's such a beautiful, relaxing and fancy place! Price wise, they were the same as other places that have horrible atmospheres/customer service/quality. I will be back! Read Less

I will never go here again. Went there to have my nails taken off and get a pedicure. The guy charged me $20 extra for gel on my toes. Then he broke my real nails under the nails he was trying to take off. I ended up just telling him to stop because I couldn't take the pain anymore. Okay I don't know where to start. I'll be short bc it is too much to write . They are old school. I asked if they can do ombre, they said no..... I'm like ah ok. Then I asked if they do SNS dipping. They said no. I'm like okay I'll just get a full set and design they had no really person that could do designs everything was like I'm not joking oh $5.00 you pay more...I'm like ok. $5 for long .... Like normal long not crazy don't cut them down long .ok $5.00 for coffins .15 for gel And all this extra for everything and not even what I want I was so pissed I don't do. My sister was getting a french it was the most jacked up french I seen in my life ..it had ridges was horrible ...no so she asked for them to take it off. She was so upset she just had her fill and didn't even paint her nails with nothing And then they were fighting she paid her 30 for her fill because she got shaped pointy...anyways so much more but they need newer staff that know new stuff. I had my nails done three days ago and Saturday night I broke my thumb nail. On Sunday, I drove down at 10 AM because that is the hours that were posted on the front of the door and no one was there I waited for 10 minutes and left. The staff is very friendly, the place itself is really nice it's updated and nicely decorated. Room temperature was great; not too cold not too hot . I had the best experience here yesterday, the pedicure was very relaxing & young lady did a amazing job! I usually have a few things to say about the length of my toes nails, the pressure during the massage or the polish. This place is awful. Not only is the owner/staff rude and unprofessional, they rip customers off with their pricing (which I believe is the goal considering they fail to offer a price list for service), I recently visited this establishment for a basic fill-in on a set of acrylic nails (no gel, just acrylic), and they purposely overcharged me. I should have known something was up when the young lady who did my nails kept trying to offer me gel and I continued to turn her down. Funny things, is my acrylic fill-in ended up costing the same amount as she told me the gel nails would cost, which is even stranger because it is also the same price as a full set. So I am confused as to how an acrylic fill-in can cost the same amount as a full set of gel nails?? And when I asked after receiving my total, neither of the two owners/staff members could tell me the cost of an acrylic fill-in, they just stuck together and continued to repeat the price listed on the ticket. It wasn't until the lady finished my nails that I realized that there was no price listing displayed, however I assumed it would be too bad given the usual price for an average acrylic fill-in, but I was wrong, I eneded up paying the price of a full set of gel nails. I should have known something was up when she kept offering me gel three of four times, and then at the end offered to do my eyebrows. Is business slow or money short that they feel the need to rip people off, if they continue to operate this way they will continue to customers because I certainly WON'T be returning, and will be contacting NIC as well as the Florida Licensing Board. I do not appreciate being ripped off nor do I how they would converse with one another in their native tongue while they were supposed to be assisting me with the pricing issue. We've been to this salon before and had been pleased with the service. The first time we make an appointment and we wait over an hour for service. When I ask about who makes the appointments and why we waited I get blank looks and when I ask again I get someone forgot. I said that would have been nice to know when we walked in. This is a horrible establishment with rude and unprofessional owner and staff, The owner will not return my phone call. Having been in the service industry customer service is everything. When I explained that I was not happy I was met with a defensive attitude stating it wasn't his fault it was my fingernails. Unacceptable. This place is right around the corner, so while it's not your fanciest nail salon, I always enjoy seeing the same friendly faces. They always ask how my daughter's doing by name, greet me promptly, and I almost never have to wait. The place is clean, gives a great mani/pedi, and is fairly priced. Read Less

They will make unathorized charges to your credit card. My bill I signed for was $50.00 plus a $10.00 tip. They charged my credit card $80.00. When I called about it, I was told by Jennifer that she forgot to charge me for something and that she just added it to my card. Clearly they have no regard for what is legal and illegal.
