Honestly this place only gets one star from me because my family members get their nails done here. Lady was so rude after I came in to get a refill full set seeing how my nails already were OVAL she only asked if I wanted them cut shorter by the time she cut them shorter they were boxed so I told her I liked the OVAL style she responds to me why did YOU cut them so short if you wanted them OVAL? I explained to her YOU cut them short not I and YOU did not ask what style I wanted.. as a nail tech you should never ASSume especially since they were OVAL to begin with. So of course she took her attitude to the next level and switched it all on me WILL NEVER BE RETURNING AND DEFINITELY DO NOT REFER THEM TO ANYONE unless you want to be rushed from the moment you walk in ALSO, she mentioned the customer is NOT always right in this location. I went to Instyle today to get a french polish change on my gel color. After reading other favorable reviews I was extremely disappointed.  When I first walked in I was promptly seated by a lady named Kim. She wrapped my nails in acetone and after less than a minute hastily removed my gel polish.  Instead of letting it sit longer she used a coarse file to get it off as quickly as she possible. At the end of the gel removal my nails were peeling and had splinters on them.  I should have stopped here but decided to give her another chance.  She filed my nails numerous times but there were still lose pieces and uneven areas.  Even when I pointed them out she acted like I was annoying her and didn't fix them correctly.  When she went to start the polish change she asked me to select a color for the base.  I selected a pink color from the samples and she brought me another color and told me she thought I would prefer that because the color I picked out had a hint on purple.  I went with her suggestion and she proceeded to apply it very quickly without paying attention to detail.  Since she applied the polish so quickly I looked at my nails and the polish was uneven and you could see brush marks on each nail.  When I pointed it out to her she told me I should have went with the normal pink they use for a french manicure.  Why wouldn't she mention this when I asked for a french manicure? She is the one who chose that color! She then added a coat of the normal pink they used and painted the tips white.  At the end she put two coats of top coat and did it so fast that the Polish was sealed on my skin on every side.  She noticed this and tried to cut the polish off my skin using cuticle cutters.  All this did was cause me pain and she even cut my skin.  She actually blamed me for this and said it was because my nails were short and I didn't want to pay for a manicure.  I am sorry but I've had shorter nails and never had this happen.  I've also never had somebody tell me I needed a manicure,  in fact I've been told that it wasn't necessary.  She finished everything including polish removal in 25 minutes. I've been to many other nail salons and never had them done in less than 45 minutes.  It was a rushed job by somebody who obviously doesn't care about the customer or results.  After this experience I don't see myself returning to Instyle. I love this place my nails have been done for 6 weeks a pink and white very clean, none broke. When I took my nails off the only complaint I had was that the technician dug too deep on some nails and left he indent in my own nails. Would go back. They do great eyebrows and pedicures also Read Less

It was my first time getting my nails done here and I just got to say that this is by far the best nail salon I have been to in this area. The staff are nice and friendly and my stylist, Linda, did a really great job with my nails! I'm officially going to become a regular at this shop! Definitely recommend going to this place! This was my last visit to this salon. They are rude, disrespectful and very sneaky. I have made an appointment for me and my mom with our regular technicians. When we got there, I saw both of them leaving. We were given two different techs and were told that they had to leave due to an emergency. Why not call the customer and let them know ahead so they can change their mind if they want to. The girl they gave me belongs at  a factory putting machinery together and not in the nail salon. She cut me several times, extremely rough and unskilled. Not to mention what happened at previous visit of them refusing to fix their mistakes and taking another client during our scheduled appointment time. Do not come here. We will never return. Spend your money elsewhere. After coming here for 3 years, never again. If you want to be treated like shit and disrespected, this a salon for you. No problems here! My mom was visiting from out of town and wanted to treat us to mani-pedis. I generally do my own (I used to work for a podiatrist and I've seen too many problems) but she was really excited so we went. The gentleman that did my services did a great job. I will say, he used (and charged for) gel polish, which I did not ask for. This more than doubled the cost of the manicure. HOWEVER, I had never had gel before and now that I have seen the results, I won't do it any other way. A week later and my nails still look perfect. My pedicure was also well done. The tech that did my mom's services also did a great job. The salon is clean and well-kept, and very close to my home. Prices were reasonable. My only two little things were the thing with the gel (and maybe he did ask and I misunderstood), and then they also did not do our services together. I started with the mani and my mom started with the pedi and then we swapped. It would be nice, if people came in together, that they let them enjoy their services together so they can chat and pass the time. If I were looking to do it again, I would come back. Read Less

Wow! Amazing place! I am one of the pickiest women when it comes to nail salons. I've tried around 5 in this area, and have been ultimately disappointed. This is by far the most amazing spot. The friendliest staff, beautiful atmosphere, and all around positivity. I had the privilege to have Linda do my pedi/mani. I would take her everywhere with me if I could. She was perfection. The only reason I came here is because I was given a $20 gift certificate for my birthday. If I wanted to have my nails look crappy I would have done them myself. It looks like a five year old did my nails. I paid to have a gel manicure and the gel polish is lumpy, uneven and all over my cuticles. Not to mention they didn't even give me a proper manicure. Kimberly, the manager of this nail salon truly cares about her customers and employees.  She inclusive meritocracy to heart when she treats her employees because doing the right thing to her employees will result in good business for everyone.  As being observed, she truly believes in happy employees because happy employees will resulted in happy and returning customers.  She coached her employees to recommend but reserve the option for customers to choose because they will be more delighted in the end.  She frequently reminded her employees to always keep the working area clean at all times.  Those are great customer service and entrepreneurship skills that she possesses. Whenever I finally get around to having my nails done, this is the only place I trust. They're fast, professional, and always do a great job. The staff is always friendly and I love the modern decor of the inside. I've been to nail salons in the past where they've rushed through a job and left my cuticles cut up and stinging or where I've gotten the distinct impression that they were openly judging my bitten fingernails. I don't get that here.The prices are comparable to others in the area ($35 for a full set of pink and white nails and pedicures ranging from $18-$40).
