I've been going to Veranda for about 6 months now for gel manis/regular pedis. The first few times were good, especially the pedis. Recently the salon expanded, almost doubling the space, but the quality of their work has progressively decreased. One gel mani started peeling in just 3 days - After years of getting gel manis elsewhere, this is the first time I've ever had it peel. Pedis are done so quickly that the layers don't get a chance to dry and end up bumpy. A couple days ago I had a regular mani done and it was simply horrendous - streaky and bumpy polish and jagged nails - I keep looking at it, wondering why I paid for this. Always tell you one price and then when you go pay they give you another price wasn't too happy when my nails I got the white tips and the nail looks too wide to square I told her but she said next time she would fix it I don't like the way my nails look not too happy with them the girl tells me one price then when she finishes she goes to the back room and tells the guy to charge me another or he just wanted to charge me another price I don't know it keeps on happening probably go somewhere else next time Read Less

I have been going here for a mani pedi with tips and healthy nails every two to three weeks for the past year and a half. The service is excellent and the 2 times (total) in that time period that I had a nail break, they fixed them at no charge. The salon is so relaxing and I enjoy my visit every time I go. Read Less

I cannot support this salon anymore.  I have had good services here and mediocre services at times.  Today was mediocre at best, and when you couple that with the fact that I was made to feel unwelcome and unappreciated (for the second or third time by the same person) I have made the tough and final decision to post this unfavorable review and to move on to a friendlier place.  When I leave a place feeling uncomfortable, it's time to move on.  The salon has a good following and mostly deserves it - however, because of the actions of one, a repeat offender, they just lost a good customer.  Three strikes - you're out! Ruined my nails!!! My overlays lifted in 2 days!!! My nails were destroyed from over filing!!! I lost more than half my length never mind the crooked and odd shape!!! Yes I wanted a slight taper to resemble a shorter coffin shape, but at least make both sides even!!! I had to take all my nails down and now I'm just waiting to get them back. Can I please give this place 10 stars. Ana and Gina are absolutely awesome. I came in for the first time today. And I have to say they gained a loyal customer. Gina gave me the best leg/foot massage. Ever. Hands down. And the rub down with the hot towel was a fantastic touch and finale to a great pedicure. She use absolute care throughout my pedicure. Ana did my gel manicure. She was equally fantastic. I have a horrible habit of picking my thumb cuticle and she use such care while navigating my thumb disaster zone. She is super friendly and detail oriented. I had plans to go else where and get my eyebrows done and she mentioned that they do them there. I haven't had my eyebrows wax since high school. So I was a bit weary about waxing since I switched to threading. Again, she did a fantastic job. The wax was the perfect temperature. And she was meticulous. I will definitely be back.
