This was my second time visiting Solar Nails. My husband and I had pedicures and I also had a fill-in with gel polish yesterday. I had made an appointment and they were very efficient and ready for us on time, very attentive to my requests, the staff was great and very friendly. I think that Ken does a good job. I had someone do a terrible job 2 days ago. I came in to get the one nail redone that chipped off and they sent me away to come back, meanwhile they took other clients. The customer service is terrible. Go find another nail salon. Don't come here. Read Less

I went with my beat friend for a day out ! Yeah will never go back .i got a pedicure and told the lady what color i wanted and she tryed doing white tips i told her no . amd kept being pushy about me getting it then kept on me about getting gel or my eye brows waxed . we go to these places to relax not to be pushed into something we dont want . I get a pedicure every two weeks and I normally go to the place in Walmart because they do an amazing job but I was taking my little cousins to get a pedicure and Walmart doesn't have the small chairs for children. The woman took the thing they scrub the bottom of your feet with and scrubbed the top of me toes!!! So the skin on the top of my toes are all scratched up and then she didn't even cut my nails! I told her that I wanted them cut and she literally told me no.. My nails aren't fully painted, there's still white showing from my actual nail. It's as if I had a two year old paint my nails. THE WORST PEDICURE I'VE EVER HAD! Don't waste your money at this place. You'll leave with your toes looking worse than they did when you walked in. Read Less

My first visit yesterday and I was pleasantly surprised! I was warmly greeted with smiles. Angie is my girl and it was her first day. Angie was amazing. So attentive and very professional. I do follow Angie and when I got there I was excited to see Pam too! Pam did an excellent job on my eyebrows and helped Angie out while she was finishing another customer. So no waiting time! I've been a customer of Solar Nails since October of 2015. The owners Vincent and Vivi are great! I request Vivi to do my nails everytime! We have fun with the holidays and I normally have her do nail art on my nails which I receive A LOT of compliments. They take appts & walk-in's and it truly is about the customer at Solar Nails. One time I had an appt however I wasn't able to find a parking spot and they offered to move their cars to make one for me!! I highly recommend trying Solar Nails for mani's, Pedi's and waxing. Ana at Solar Nails is THE BEST. I've literally had to get my nails done twice since our Xmas party in December.. twice.. and my nails grow super fast. Each time she had me in and out in less than 30 mins with better shaped nails than I've ever had before.. and for $28/fill you cannot beat it. BUT if I go for my fill in a week or two and I can't get in because of this I will be so MAD. Lol regardless.. she deserves it.Read Less

I can't say I would go back to this salon. My sister in law and I came here forgetting that Royal Nails had changed locations. The place was very clean, and they even used those foot tub liners. However, the quality of product and service was sub par. I got the regular pedicure for $23, and the pedi lasted about 10 minutes total. The lady who took care of me was friendly enough, but she asked me several times if I wanted a flower on my toe nail even after I said no thanks. When I paid with credit card, there was no place on the receipt to leave the tip, and they told me there wasn't a way to redo it to add one. The lady who took care of my sister in law had a little attitude with her when I was present (had to leave early) and she told me it was worse after I had left. My sister in law was trying to pick out the right color and the lady was getting tired of waiting and said "do you want me to your nails or not." I was a little taken aback by that. After it was all over, my sister in law had to redo her nails when we got home. Mine turned out alright, but I've had a lot better pedis at other places. Read Less

Although this is a very clean salon, the staff are incredibly rude and unaccommodating.  I asked the lady who did my mani pedi to test a color on my toe first, and before I knew it, she had gone ahead and done the whole foot! Then she was mad when I didn't like the color, and gave me terrible treatment after that. She filed my nails completely crooked, so much so that I asked her to straighten them out, and she THREW the nail file at me and told me "you do." And folded her arms and glared at me! So, I filed my own nails. Then she got annoyed again when I wanted to test a color on my fingers. She did not even buff my nails. At the end, she came around and put a second coat of top coat on (why?!) and that made all the nails completely clumpy!  I was so frustrated, I just left. I will be giving myself my own mani pedi tonight. What a waste of money! Don't go here! Go to Royal Nails just down the street. Read Less

My gel manicure by Hannah was completely perfect - definitely one of the best manicures I have ever had. My understanding is that this shop has been under new management, so they have had many improvement and upgrade to their interior property, customer services as well as quality of service.  They seem to clean and sanitize their working areas well.  They have wide selection of new polishes (OPI, CND, Essie, Zoya, gel, even mood changing ones haha)  They welcome customer with free bottles of water, etc....  Come to see Hannah and you will not regret. I'm so confused with these reviews. Hannah (table 4) just did a perfect SNS dip on my nails.  The cost plus removal of old gel was only $37.  Considering this typically lasts me a month, I'm not complaining.As for the cleanliness of the shop, I was impressed. Walked in to the salon with my daughter for her birthday and asked to get mani/pedis. I wanted them to repaint what I already had on my nails which was red, white& blue with stars - the stars on my fingernails weren't too bad but my toes were jacked! When I asked the lady to repaint the big toes because the stars looked like A's she just told me they were pretty...my daughter got palm trees and they just looked like weird lines. When the guy was doing my pedi he used a exfoliater and the next day my leg was swollen and had red streaks all over where he literally took the skin off my leg!! Then he proceeded to put a scalding HOT towel on top of it!!!A couple of days later I noticed my French manicure had "fuzz" sticking to it from the polish Tim used on my nails.Do NOT go here! Amazing experience! My nails are perfect even though I didn't let the polish dry well enough and messed up a few already. Every other place I've been to the nail tech made my cuticles bleed and even cut my fingertip once. My nail tech here was gentle and precise. Great color selection. Coffin shape is perfect. I have been going to solar nails for a few years now and I couldn't say enough wonderful things. I see Anna who is amazing but any one the does a fantastic job. I have never left in happy and always get so many compliments on them but most of all my 4 yr old dghtr goes too and they treat her like a princesses every time. They are amazing!!!! Read Less
