My hair was the biggest pain in the ass today but he did an amazing job and never complained! The owner was so sweet and made sure I was ok the entire time! I highly recommend them to anyone!! Spending the day with Candice is an EVENT, not just a haircut. She is very professional and tries to give you the best customer service she can offer, i.e., she listens closely to what you tell her and is constantly asking if the color is right, do you want more highlights, darker, lighter. Then she checks on the cut to make sure it is exactly what you want. It is very rare to have someone fix your hair that actually cares what you think - usually they seem to crank out whatever style they just did on someone else. When I had an issue with my hair color (from another salon) Candice was able to fix it. I noticed she didn't mix up just one color -- she mixed 6!!! I knew then I was in good hands. I'M LIVING A HAIR NIGHTMARE! I had shown Candace pictures and had wanted my hair to be a vivid red with just a touch of dark at the roots. We did a consult and I was given a price. I left the salon that day and immediately told her my hair just looked dark to me and nothing at all like in the pictures or like what we had discussed.It was also very uneven. She told me to give it a few days and if I still felt that way to call her. Few days went by, sure enough I still felt that way. When I called she told me to come back in and this is when things went real bad real fast. I wasn't sure exactly what she was doing to correct my hair color but I blindly trusted in the system. She seemed confident and I felt like it'd be okay. After sitting with bleach she rinsed out my color and my hair turned a weird almost rose gold color. She then tried to correct that and it still was a coppery color. After that she slathers on another color and my hair turns a mix of blue,purple, gray, anything but red. Not only that but it's completely fried. It feels like gum. It's destroyed. I'm in in tears sitting in her salon. I have to tell her no just forget it I don't want you putting anything else in my hair this is getting out of hand I have to go.I'm literally sobbing when I leave there. I end up going to another salon and they tell me the only thing they can do to fix my hair is to cut it off. That I have what is called "cotton candy" hair from what was done there. That it's too far gone. I had to have a large amount of hair cut off and extensions put in. I have to see tons of my hair fall out every single day because of what happened there. I still to this day (over a month later) can not even run my fingers through my hair. Can't brush my hair when wet. Can't do anything with my hair. It breaks my heart as a girl. I know that sounds stupid, but it's true. And do you know what's crazy? She would not even refund the money that she charged me to color my hair. I begged,I cried, I pleaded. Not because of the money but because of the principle of the matter and that woman just simply would not return the money even though she never effectively colored my hair. I have spend so much money ($700.00) in 2 visits at your salon. I have found out that you are WAY over price for the quality of your services and product. The color is still not right and the hair treatment at 250.00 has done nothing to my hair after the first wash. NEVER AGAIN will I go to your salon. My son got his hair cut and colored here and I spent 100 dollars (including tip) and the coloring only lasted less than a month, and this was with using a sulphate free shampoo. We both agreed that the owner was off putting and made us both feel uncomfortable. The reason I have it two stars instead of one is because the haircut was ok, but he's had much better.Read Less
