I saw so many good reviews online, and on the company's site, I was told walk-ins would be welcomed.
I've never felt so unwelcome. As soon as I go inside, I need to walk down a hall to even find a human being to speak to about my hair. I was open to getting anything done, so I thought I couldn't possibly be disappointed. Right away, every lady in the salon groans and complains to each other that their schedules are too full, and are essentially "passing the buck" in front of me.
Despite that I should have left right then, I figured it looked like a high quality atmosphere and their work must be better than their attitudes. I was told to go into a room with a woman who was waiting for amother customer to process.
The customer asks if she should leave, but is ultimately told to just sit and watch me get my hair cut. Extremely unprofessional.

I ended up only getting the ends trimmed, because I assume anything else would "take too long and everyone had full schedules that day", as I was made exceedingly aware, to the point of being told "I don't have time to do anything else for you."
Word to the wise: If you don't have time to do anything but moan for five minutes about how much of an inconvenience I am by coming to your business, turn me away. Say you can't take a walk-in that day. Schedule me an appointment? Do anything but handle it like you did.
All in all, I was disappointed by A Select Salon. Read Less
