I have been to a couple nail places in Springs and Coconut Creek and Velvet Rose is the place to go. I usually get the Dip powder. I alternate between acrylic gel as well. Never a disappointment. Why does this place have 4 stars I'm not sure. Maybe people are posting their perfect nails right after they got them done but mine are a week in and my nails are chipping it's barely been a week. No hand massage nothing barely put any lotion on my nails. I'm not sure what gel polish they use but it's garbage. I got a gel manicure so I paid $25 for chopped nails I'm upset because the lady did a good job prepping my nails for the gel and now they look like I haven't had a manicure in weeks. Read Less

Avoid coming to this place. The staff is completely unprofessional. My friend came here to get her nails done for her birthday and her acrylics were so uneven in length and width. After we expressed our dissatisfaction with the MANAGER she continued to laugh and smile about how the ONLY thing she can do is offer a $5 discount for a future appointment which by the way, take 2 hours for completion. 1 hour in waiting and 1 hour for a crappy job to be done for your nails. We don't complain unless it's legitimately a bad job. Generally leave nail salons happy, but this manager really doesn't know how to 1) run a business by Maintaining happy customers 2) train their staff efficiently in their ONLY job. Also be aware your fingers will have cuts on them and uneven nails when you leave here in 2+ hours. Read Less

Horrible service. I had an appointment at 2:30 and didn't start getting worked on till 3:30. The male technician does a horrible job. Paid $27 for an uneven crappy looking manicure. None of my nails match. There's cuts in my fingers because he doesn't know how to use the equipment. The guy was rude, when he messed up my nail with his hand twice, he would noticeably shake his head at me like it was my fault. When I complained, the manager offered me to fix my nails with the same guy, who's obviously not trained well, obviously I said no. She offered me to come back the next day, which I replied that they should be done correct the first time and I don't have another 3 hours to sit on the nail salon. I got my nails done for my birthday and really just wanted them to look cute. She offered me a $5 coupon but I don't want to spend another second of my time in this salon. Will not be coming back ever again. Manager was rude laughing and smiling in my face, at that point I just walked out. Read Less

Service is great, always consistent. Also you can't beat the prices, I shopped around at different salons when I moved down here and this was/is the best. They listen to your requests, i.e shape and length. And it's clean! Everyone is super nice. Love it here.Read Less
