Went for the first time yesterday. I work in the same plaza, so, it's extremely convenient. Beautiful area, and great location as well. I've been living in Florida for 19 yrs , and this is one of the BEST nail salons that I've been to. Billy did an excellent job on my full set of gel nails. $35.00 for a full set of "gel polish", over acrylic, is an EXCELLENT price! Best price I've seen for "gel polish" on top. Worst service i ever had! Ann did my manicure And not only did he not clean my cuticles right but even the paint job wasn't done right. After repeatedly saying nicley can u please paint the whole nail not just half she kept said wait until i finish. She finished and as I predicted i hated the paint job. She said it was the color and the manicure so then another lady intervened and she completed the paint job and as i predicted she didnt do a good job either. If i could give this place 0 stars i would. They had the worst customer service and attitude. When i come and do my nails i come to relax not get upset that i paid money for something i didnt like. Came here with a friend and while she was getting her nails and pedicure done, I also got a pedicure. She has been happily coming here about a year and wanted me to try it. There is free parking right out front of the shop.Turned out to be a nice,fresh, clean, well-lit place with pleasant and professional staff. Got a very decent pedicure for a very reasonable $20 plus tip. I think I'll come back here in future when in the neighborhood. They are also open on Sunday afternoons so this is convenient before any weekday travels instead of having to search for a place while on the road... Read Less

For the second time I received a good pedicure. However, halfway through, and after my nails had been clipped and filed, I realized the tools the tech was using were sitting out from the previous service. They were even sitting on the used plastic sanitizing bag which was covered in nail polish and remover stains. I'm usually much more conscientious of these things and have been known to ask the tech to open newly sanitized tools in front of me. Clearly, this salon needs a reminder of the rules. Decent place. I went in on a Sunday around 3pm and it was great that they were open until 5pm. Guy in the front did my nails (gel fill)...he rushed them a bit but overall they came out okay - I'd give them 90%. Price was a bit expensive. $45 for a gel fill OUCH! Read Less

Worst pink and white ever! I had a full set put on and after 5 days, one nail came off completely. After 6 days I went elsewhere to get a fill and they had to take them completely off and start over because it was done so badly. I will never go back and do not recommend them to anyone! Read Less

Got a referral from a fellow yelper to try this place out... Got a mani/pedi.... Ann did a great job for my pedicure and a guy did my manicure beforehand. Adequate job, $30... Nothing fancy, but happy with the service I received, I would go back! :) Read Less

Had a pedi and gel mani done for a wedding.  I received high quality service and my nails look great. Anne was awesome! She was very precise, patient, and friendly. They get points for being open on a Sunday and until 5pm. I desperately need a pedi and walked in, waited a few and got seated. Tina helped me out- she spoke English, was professional and spoke to me and others around her professionally and the place was clean. Pedi was $20.00 and pedi was thorough. I stopped in here while on vacation. The previous reviews were spot on! Very clean, friendly staff and great prices! I got a pedicure and a gel manicure along with a paraffin dip on hands and feet. It was $65 total. My technician was Michael and he was very kind and patient with my multi-color manicure. I highly recommend this salon! Read Less

Such an awkward, terrible experience. Save yourself the trip, and do not bother coming here. Walked in yesterday to inquire about getting my nails done. There were four stations occupied. No one greeted me or looked up when I walked in. I stood for a few more minutes, still nothing. After about five minutes of awkwardly standing in the salon with no greeting or acknowledgment of my presence, I left. How is this place open? Read Less

They are the worst when it comes to customer service. I am fairly new in this area and trying to find a salon for my mani and pedi. So far this has been the ultimate worst place I've been to. The lady did an ok job with my pedicure. When it came time to get my manicure done, they left me hanging there with foils on my fingers to take care of other people who walked in way after I got there. When I realized what was going on I told the lady I had to be out at a certain time I still did not get helped. 30 mns later they finally sent someone my way, by that time it was almost time for me to go and I was pissed off. I got them to remove the gel since I was already wrapped. They still had the nerve to charge me for the mess they left me with. All they seemed to worry about was their tips (if that's the kind of service they offer, no wonder the previous guest did not tip). Read Less

I have been to Sakura nails, or this same nail location once before a few years ago, I was not impressed and it looked totally different. Maybe they have new ownership, but the place looks great now and has been remodeled. The massage chairs are new and comfy, and the salon is clean and fresh. The staff was very welcoming, and the lady that did my pedi offered a great food and leg massage and did a great job with my pedi.  I am so glad I gave this place another chance, thanks to all the new pics and reviews I found on Yelp. Discovered this salon about a month ago when I was looking for a  nail place close to home.I liked it from the beginning.The salon is clean and bright and the staff welcoming.I was seated quickly and my pedicurist did a great job as she and the other girls entertained me.They obviously get along well with each other and the humour and upbeat  chatter added to my experience.I returned this evening on the off chance that they were open.Even though I arrived at 6:45pm and they were to close at 7 pm  they  sat me down and I got a great pedicure by Ann as they chattered before closing.This is now my regular nail place! This place is in my building at work so I figured I'd give it a try, first the prices are great, less than most places I have found. $30 for Mani/Pedi. I arrived at 6:30pm when they close at 7pm yet everyone was more than happy to assist me and didnt make a fuss about closing since it took almost until 8:30 (including dying time). I would have liked a little more massage for both mani and pedi but given the time of night and the fact the woman did a great job removing my ingrown nails on my toes (which was virtually painless) where other salons have me cringing. I went on a Monday around 4pm and I was the only customer. No surprise since most salons are closed on Monday plus the lady that did my nail said they usually get busier as people get out of work. No problem, it wasn't awkward  or anything. I asked for a pedicure when I walked in and the lady had me sit right down in the pedicure chair and got the water running. In the meantime she started taking the clear coat of polish off of my finger nails. I was a little confused but as she was doing my pedicure I realized she was planning on giving me a manicure too. She did a great pedicure. Nothing fancy or special but I don't think they offer a deluxe pedicure (usually if they do they really try to sell you on it) and the $25 price I thought was very reasonable for a pedicure with French tips. They also have massage chairs which is a must in my book. After the pedicure, she motioned for me to come over to her manicure station. By this point I had decided since I haven't had my nails professionally done in almost 2 years, I would see what a polish change with French tips would cost me since I wasn't interested in paying for a full manicure. She checked with the owner and it was $10. Sounded good to me and since it was a slow day and she was so nice I was glad to give her a little more work for the extra tip.Here's where they fall short of that fifth star for me. First of all, in between coats she would lay my nails in front of a fan. I am well aware that this will cause bubbles in the polish but I didn't say anything. Second of all, my tips looked a bit sloppy. Mostly because she filed my nails but never cleaned up the edges before painting. I just let it go because I am used to doing my own nails with salon tools so I knew I could later file each nail down a bit, buff the top layer to get rid of the bubble and then add a new top coat to make them look good. Sure enough, they look excellent now and the $10 was still worth it cause I never could have done such precise French tips myself. I'm sure with a solid color and a full manicure you probably wouldn't encounter as many problems as I did.Overall the place was very clean and the few staff I met were very nice. They are Asian so a little hard to understand but I prefer Asian nail salons. My total cost for a full pedicure and a finger nail polish change, both with French tips,  was $35 and then I like to tip 20% in cash. I'd go again if I came back to the area. Read Less

I "walked" in about 1.5 years ago! Was greeted promptly. Very friendly staff. Andy did an amazing job of fixing my damaged acrylic nails. They do really nice affordable pedicures, waxing and many other spa services as well. The store itself has been upgraded, are remodeling, and the entire community has been involved in a major re-vamping in Pompano. Those of us who are dedicated customers have enjoyed every moment!. I have received two pedicures from this place from two different technicians.  They were different styles (the first did a bit more massage), but I enjoyed both very much.  On the last one, my nail polish NEVER chipped at all and just grew out, so I had to go back to get this more recent one.  They have very nice massage chairs and everything seems very clean and up to date.  The prices are very reasonable.  Their name says "spa," but I'm not sure what justifies that, as it seems more just a "salon."
