I'll never be back. I got a full set that was significantly uneven in length. I've never felt so rushed. My technician Ruby, never said a word to me, smiled, or talked. Didn't ask if I liked my nails or if I liked the length or shape. After breaking the complete silence, I told her I would like to get my brows done too, hoping it wouldn't be her. It was.... The salon in general is good. Clean and the staff is nice. However getting a good nail tech is hit or miss. Today was a TOTAL MISS. Unfortunately I didn't get the name of the gentleman. He was maybe a middle aged man with glasses. He started on my feet at least 20 mins after the young lady started on my feet and somehow managed to finish before her. Needless to say he did a horrible job and I had to go back and ask him to remove more of my cuticles. He said but there is nothing there however somehow managed to remove more, surprise surprise! Even with this he finished before my mom's lady did. We moved on to the hands and I told him that it was the same with the hands please actually remove the cuticles. He said he would try his best but I still had to ask him to remove more of my cuticles and then just asked if I could remove the corners myself. I did gel polish and he did a horrible job as well. My nails are all different shapes and the nail polish is think nd he missed the corners I asked him to fix one of the corners and he took a deep breath and ignored me and proceeded to finish my nails. I get turn over but damn at least do your job properly! I will NEVER use this guy ever again he was horrible and I basically threw my money away! I had been working on a diesel engine all day, but as the day was ending, I found out that there was a Pink Nails fundraiser event. In case you don't know, the Pink Nails happens to be a group dedicated to men's prostate and prostate cancer awareness. At their fund raising events everyone, mostly guys, show up with one of their fingernails painted pink in order to show support. Well, having worked on that diesel all day, my nails were a dark sooty looking mess and at the event, everybody would be looking at them; especially for the one painted pink. So, what to do? For me it meant going to Nail Paradise Too.Just as soon as I entered I was given the warmest of greetings from the people at the desk who immediately had a person come over to escort me to a table to do my nails. My fingers first got immersed in something and after a quick soak the work began and in no time at all my nails and eponychiumd (read cuticles) were looking good. The most amazing thing for me was the size of the operation Nail Paradise Too. It's huge, at least to me as this is only the second time in my life I've had my nails professionally done. Located in a mini strip mall there is ample parking, however, because it is near a Publix, if you go around prime time, you may find yourself circling the rows a bit until you find a spot (unless you park wayyy in the back).If you need a quick mani/pedi this place is for you, however, i would suggest researching another place cause the quality of service is kind of ehh, in my opinion.Staff up front is welcoming and nice. There are a bunch of massage chairs to the left and a bunch of tables to the right. The color selection is a bit limited, and they don't have all the latest colors. Pricing is decent, been a while i have visited a place that has a pedi for $26.I went in for a gel pedi on a Saturday afternoon. Location was busy but not as full as one would think for a Saturday. I was assisted almost immediately for being a walk in in. The lady who took care of me was really nice, however spoke barely any English (made it a bit hard to communicate as to what i really wanted). When i got home, i noticed that the job wasn't exactly up to par. I personally am not too picky, however, like anyone, when you pay for something you expect a certain level of completion. My paint started to chip the day after - gel polish doesn't really do that unless 1) the paint is old or 2) it was applied incorrectly. Sadly i am no expert so i am not sure which of the two it was. When it came time to do the cheese grader sander thing for the feet, she left ALOT of skin on my feet that should of been removed. I didn't notice until the day after when i got out of the shower and saw the uneven layers on my prune-y feet..They don't take tip on the credit card, so make sure you have cash on you. would i come back, maybe if i am in dire need of a pedi, however, i wasn't rather impressed, so i may have to look elsewhere - sad, cause i live right across the street! This nail spa has no customer service and constantly increases their prices. For the most part the technicians do a good job (reason I gave 2 stars), but if you have a problem the manager on duty pretends she doesn't hear you when you're standing right next to her at the register complaining to the tech, or if you go to her directly she never understands your reasoning. For example: I chose a color and within the week the color was cracking on all fingers. The tech wanted to charge me for a color change!! Of course I had a problem with this. I brought it up to the manager BEFORE my visit. When I came in she couldn't see the cracking and didn't tell the tech anything. It was so obvious that the paint was bad or the tech didn't apply it correctly. Additionally, the owner doesn't acknowledge you no matter how loyal of a customer you are. I was a customer for over 3 years and she never said hello or even pretended like she knew me. You're another number there. It's a factory they want to get you in and out and don't care about your satisfaction. Regarding the prices, I get gel or SNS dip and they've already increased the price TWICE & they don't include the cuticle cutting with SNS - that's an additional $7. I go to this location out of pure convenience. It is 2 minutes away from my work. The thing I like about this salon is that they have a large amount of technicians, so it is very easy to get an appointment as a walk in. Although I haven't used their hair services, they have hair stylists and colorists on staff. I will say this, I haven't been completely satisfied with the acrylic job they do, but, they are great with manicures and pedicures. I love visiting the salon on my break to get a lunch time pedicure. No matter who my technician is, I always get a great pedi!Tip- They only accept cash tips. I have never been one to say "I have a nail girl," until I had come across Angela!! I can now say that "I have a girl" when my friends and random people comment on my nails! I refer everyone I can to her. Her gel manicures last, and she is always up for a challenging design!! Her attention to detail on my pedicures is above par!! As I sat down to get a pedicure, the girl doing it was talking to an annoyingly over chatty other tech. They were talking about if they drank the night before. The girl doing my nails said she did a needle. And the two techs proceeded to talk about sharing needles, the people in the salon that could be on heroin, etc. It was soo uncomfortable and horrible how flippant they were speaking in front of customers. It's a beautiful relaxing setting but.. My nail care specialist acted as though I was invisible although the service was quick she seemed very annoyed to do my nails not looking at my face once to answer a question and if I did ask a question she would just shrug or look down at the floor and not answer me. I thought that was very rude on my part especially when I'm a loyal costumer and come here all the time. By the end of my French manicure she totally rushed on the finishing of my nails as the nail salon workers brought in food that they were handing out to the workers and each French manicure size in my nails were different sizes and looked very tacky as though a 2 year old had painted them for free. It's very unprofessional and gross to eat while on the job at s nail salon in the first place. The owners might as well turn this salon into a restaurant. I've been getting my nails done here for a few years now and I've had a few bed experiences but the majority of my nail appointments have been great! It all depends on the nail tech you get. Don't request Jenny she did anwful job with the dips and used the drill to file off my cuticles and cut my skin bad on three fingers and started bleeding. She didn't seem the know what she was doing. They said 35$.When i left it was $47!! I didnt want to make a big stink- so,i called later that day because it was UPSETTING! They said GEL NAILS are 35$- with GEL POLISH is another 12$!! 47$$that's just nuts!So i called this other place -similar- that i always get my eyebrows done! I've been going to this salon every 2 weeks for about 4 months now. I found it by chance one day when I was on my way home from the beach. They've recently remodeled and I think the salon looks beautiful, and it gives you a high-end feel, which is something I look for in a salon. They always take walk-ins without much of a wait. The only real "con" about this place is the front desk. There's usually just one girl up there at a time when they could obviously use two. No matter who is up there they always seem very overwhelmed, busy, and confused... which causes them to be occasionally rude/unprofessional. Also, you cannot tip on a card (but they do have an ATM that charges a $3 fee)I wear acrylic nails and I always get an acrylic gel fill, painted with gel polish. And then I get a toe polish change in a matching color of regular nail polish. These services cost $45 all together. I've had some mixed experiences with the techs. At first I was not picky about which nail tech I went to, I would see anyone and I'd say about 70% of the time my acrylics came out really nice. Only a few times did I not like the shape/thickness of them, and have only experienced one rude tech (whose name I unfortunately can't remember).But about a month ago, I got paired up with Carry and she did an AMAZING job! I have gone to her twice now and I am so impressed with my acrylics! I've been getting them done for about 3 years at various salons/techs and have never seen them look this great. I wore them for a little over 3 weeks (23 days) and there was NO paint chipping, nail cracking, or dry-looking cuticles. They still looked perfect after all that time, I only had to go back because they were growing out! She is also very nice and professional. That being said, Carry is the only tech I will ever let do my acrylics from now on. While I rate this salon 3 stars, I rate Carry 5 out of 5! I recommend her to anyone. Thank you for being so great!
