SCAM!!!!! AVOID THIS PLACE!!!!! This place doesn't have the price listing anywhere so the owner can charge you whatever they feel like it. When I first walked in, I was told to be charged $5 to have my nail polish removed. But when I paid, they asked for $10. I could never imagine a nail spa would do seafood pricing but apparently that's how they run their business. When they buffed and shaped your nails, they would sand-off layer of your skin with the buffer. How great is that when u got horrible service and then got charged extra. PS: avoid this spa if you don't speak Spanish because these people won't understand you and you won't be able to communicate with them when they overcharge you. Read Less

Very disappointing experience. I don't get too many manicures, but I know the difference between a good on and a poor one. I went into this cute little place because I didn't want to go to one of the big nail factories. The lady they assigned to me looked like she would rather be any where else than where she was. She did a decent job, but was done with my nails in a few minutes, never touching anything but my fingertips. No hand cream, hand message or any other service. When it was quickly done, the lady at the reqister asked how it was and I just said "okay". Then she told me the price was $20.00 and I asked "really?" She smiled and took my money. When you walk into Kitty and Pink you are welcomed by family! The girls are so professional and clean when doing your nails. However, they never forget to ask you for coffee or tea. I'm giving this place two stars, one for each time they made me wait (while I had appt.) 45 minutes to be seen by someone. The first time, I made an appointment and arrived on time. Was left waiting with no updates, finally after almost an hour, they rushed to do my pedicure after I expressed my frustration. Now, the second time, I arrived on time again and was told that they were behind and needed 20-30 minutes. I went and got something to eat (I told them I'd be back) and came back- waited another 15 minutes and told them I was leaving. Not even an "I'm sorry". This place is more busy with catering to their obnoxious and loud Pinecrest regulars than honoring appointments like a reputable business should. I won't be going back. My new GO to for nails!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. I always get my nails done every 2 weeks with Giselle. I've never had an issue with my nails chipping or breaking which for whatever reason ended up being an issue at my previous nail salon under ownership.Plenty of color options! Relaxing environment. Very Hispanic environment (felt right at home lol)  most nail techs are bilingual but first language is Spanish. I would say the only con is that they don't have true massage chairs like most nail salons do nor do they focus on the massage portion during pedicure but totally worth it considering the fact that my nail color LASTS! I'll pay to get to get that somewhere else. Most of all love the fact that all tools are fresh and opened from a sealed package. Really appreciate sanitary details the most. I have never had a manicure last me so long. This salon uses fresh nail polish that is not diluted with any other chemicals and you can really tell the difference. The polish is not gummy and therefore once it dries you do not have to worry about the polish imprinting when pressure is applied. I do not like gel polish so I just got a regular manicure and pedicure, and after a busy Thanksgiving Holiday weekend of washing dishes, cleaning and cooking I do not have one chip on my nail polish. It's hard to find a good nail salon when you're picky, and I've been here twice (for a regular mani and pedi) and left completely satisfied on both occasions. This salon is in the heart of Pinecrest and is nicely decorated. The seating/set up is comfortable despite the lack of pedicure chairs. They also have a large selection of polishes (OPI included), and make you feel at home by offering a drink on arrival. Maide (my nail tech) is very detail oriented and does awesome work! She expertly trimmed the cuticles around my ingrown toenails (without any blood shed) and paints perfectly! I will only book appointments with her! Today, I also had my eyebrows waxed and was also pleased with that service. The room they do this in is clean, neat and had a very comfortable lounge chair/bed. The lady that provided the service was also very pleasant. My only complaint, and it's a small one, is that I feel I'm in a foreign land while here. Everyone speaks in Spanish, and when I called to book my appointment, whoever answered the phone did not speak sufficient English to accomplish that. I understand that most of Miami is bilingual, but it would be nice if they could hire an English speaking receptionist to assist those that aren't bilingual. Read Less

I just moved to the area and had a hard time finding a nail place to replace one I'd been going to for years. I've seen really terrible reviews for everything else near me, so I decided to call and set an appointment. When I walked in, I knew I wanted to get my nails done here. This boutique is charming and functional; each person gets to sit on a comfortable couch chair. Everyone in the establishment is friendly, and they are all really great at manicuring from what I saw. My manicurist was gentle; I came in with my nails weak, chipped and jagged from moving boxes. I left a new person, and I can't wait for my next appointment. Definitely a must do if you're in the area. I think I found my new nail place. :)Word of advice: call before walking in, appointments seem to be the best way to get seen in a timely manner. Kitty n Pink is a really cute, super clean, and much needed nail salon in the area. My nails were perfectly painted and they have a pretty wide color selection and other polishes for an up-charge. Although all salons do it, they charge an extra $5 for Vinylux polish even though it never actually lasts the promised 7-10 days or whatever. Anyways, I opted for a regular mani (which was 10% off with a Yelp check in.. Nice!) and the Keratin pedicure. On their price chart, it clearly said the keratin pedicure was $28 versus the normal price of $25 but somehow the lady at the front desk convinced me it was really $30 and not $28. Oh well. I chose the Keratin anyways because she said your feet would turn out incredibly soft and a massage was involved. Although there was a massage, it didn't last more than 2 minutes. Don't think I'll be doing that again.Fortunately, I speak Spanish, but if you don't, you might have some trouble here. I am most appreciative of the fact that everything is so clean and pristine but they do have some things to work on. I'd probably return but only to do a basic mani/pedi, otherwise it's not a good value. What ever happened to the good ol' mani pedis for $30-$35?! Read Less
