The nail tech YOYO very rude. Accusing someone in public of not paying the last time they were there. How bad is that for an employee to do that. No class. ZERO stars. I tried giving this place a fair shake. I recommend going ELSEWHERE with your $. All that glitters is NOT gold - do not be fooled by the aesthetic. Shoddy work and bad attitudes galore. I have tried several of the staff with pedicures and dip powder tips and the work is poor quality and they want to charge for everything. My last appointment I had the color dip powder nails done and one of the tips was shorter then the rest of my nails and I pointed it out to the tech and he wanted to redo the whole nail which would require time to have the nail dissolve in acetone and I did not have time that day so he said to come back to redo it. I did come back and he handed me ticket to pay for the tip. What kind of business practice is it where you don't do the job right the first time and then you want to charge the customer to pay for it again? Unbelievable. At the end of the day whether the employee likes it or not the customer is always right especially when it comes to the service industry such as this one. Went there for a nail maintenance, you know keep them clean out and I completely got my nails butchered , I would have rather have done it myself and Im a guy. They still charged me 15$. WORST SERVICE. Very disrespectful. I never thought I would make a review like this but the people that work at this place are very disrespectful and rude. My friend invited me and 2 other girls do go do our nails together here because this was her go to for a while. Walking in it I remember thinking how pretty it looked, probably the only positive of the whole experience.I'm a stay at home mom so I brought my 7 month old with me. We told the girls at the front to put either me or one of my friends first because my baby is comfortable with her so we can switch off and do our nails, they agreed. 5 mins later they call one of our friends to go do her nails (not what we agreed on) and we waited 20 to 30 mins for them to call my other friend (needless to say the place was not busy). We were a little annoyed but just decided to just go with it and not make a big deal of it.One of my friends wanted to do acrylic gel nails and the front girls said it was 35 so we were like oh okay we'll both do that then. She sits down with Mike and is picking the color and Mike tells her gel nail polish with acrylic is 55... She goes on to tell him that she doesn't understand because they said it was 35, he gets mad and keeps rolling his eyes because she isn't understanding him and tells her "gel nail polish with acrylic nails is 55 and but you can do gel with acrylic for 35 just not gel on gel"... Did not make sense what so ever but she just agreed because he said it would be gel nails with acrylic. Fast forward he tells her to go pick her nail polish and sends her to where the regular nail polish is. Not the gel. She picks it out and he puts it on her, he does not use the uv light for gel nails or anything for gel nails. When he is finished he sends her to dry her nails on the little fan for regular nails. She goes to pay and they tell her it's $35 for acrylic gel nails plus shaping. She is fine with paying the $5 for shaping but tells them she didn't do gel she just did acrylic with regular nail polish, they go ask him and he is very rude huffing and puffing saying it is gel. It was not gel, I provided a picture of how her nails looked at the end of the day. She paid because she did not want to cause problems. They took about an hour and a half to do a manicure on my friend (the one that I was going to switch with so I can get my nails done too) the first 15 mins the girl was just talking to her friend instead of doing my friends nails and taking her time afterwards even though when we came in we told them what we were doing and they said it was fine.My baby was not crying, she was very happy smiling at everyone and laughing. Apparently they don't like children because every time she would make any sound Mike would jump and act all crazy and the other workers were talking amongst themselves and looking at me the entire time. It was about 6:40pm when they went up to me and asked if I was going to do my nails or not which I responded yes I am but I'm just waiting for my friend to finish like we said at the beginning. Then again they went up to me at 7pm and said we close at 8pm are you going to do your nails or not? What type of nail polish do you have on? I said yes and it's regular nail polish. After seeing their attitude towards everything I just wanted to leave and decided to just wait for my friend to finish and not do my nails here. They came up to me again one last time around 7:20pm saying if you're going to get your nails done it has to be now because our workers have to go home too, I replied saying I'm not going to anymore. To which they huffed and puffed again loudly and didn't speak English so I couldn't understand what was being said about me. At around 7:40pm a girl came in to do her nails and they welcomed her and did not say ANYTHING about closing at 8pm, knowing it was going to take another hour to finish her nails. After all this we were all very upset at how everything happened so when my friend went to pay she told the front desk girls that she had been coming for a while here and didnt appreciate how they behaved towards us and the baby. Especially when we told them what we were going to do from the beginning and they agreed. They went on to say "maybe you should come when you don't have the baby" which my friend replied "the father works, just because she has a baby she can't come here?" they replied "then find a day that he doesn't work and come". Clearly this was all not needed and was very rude of them to say. If babies or children are not allowed then they should get a sign that says it.They just lost 4 customers. I’ve been going here for quite some time now. At first I thought maybe it was just the person that did my nails wasn’t very good but then I began to notice every employee that did my nails did a bad job. I always get gel polish and a pedi. One they never open a sanitary bag with the tools which freaks me out. Second they never paint my nail all the way to the cuticle. They always leave a gap like if they don’t want it to last. Third my nails always dry with bubbles and they never seem to care to fix it. They always look at your nails when their dry and they clearly see the bubbles and say nothing. Well I would have liked for them to paint all my nails evenly and completely not half done with the whole back of my toe unpainted trying to avoid cleaning around. Besides that they wait for any little thing to tax you on. I didn't get a French so why the extras? No massages on the legs and the scrub mixed with the calluses liquid burns. I have been going to mystic nails every 3 weeks for over a year now. I always do my gel polish and pedicure with Evonne. She is great and my gel lasts 3-4 weeks without my nails ever chipping. She is very quiet but I don't mind it. The place always looks nice and clean especially after they remodeled it. I did eyelash extensions for the first time with Nina.
